24/02/2026: I'd been there before on a motorcycle tour and remember the bruschetta... But last Saturday... we came back for dinner... the four of us, Raclette for everyone! Amazing! Excellent quality vegetables and cured meats! Quiet atmosphere and friendly service! During the day, the view is picture-perfect... with Mount Bersaio... I'll definitely be back... The restroom door, too... is a real gem!

07/12/2025: PortoMatto in Avola was a delightful discovery. I ordered a first course, a truly delicious risotto: well-creamed, flavorful, but never heavy. The restaurant is elegant, with attention to detail, and the background music is not too loud and very pleasant, allowing for a peaceful conversation. Special praise goes to the table service: professional, attentive, but never intrusive. I'd especially like to highlight the kindness and empathy of the waiter, Giovanni, who really worked hard to find a solution for my wife's particularly restricted diet, trying to accommodate her in every way possible. In the end, she didn't order anything, but his face showed genuine disappointment, a sign of genuine care for the customer. Overall, a very positive experience: highly recommended.

04/01/2026: I met a soul. Unique. Resplendent. Her eyes have the decisive sweetness that emerges from those who have experienced pain. Her smile tastes of sea and salt...but sweet. Impossible. But true. We searched for hours for a place to eat and spend an evening of our own. Only ours. We weren't looking for fireworks, but warmth. And typical dishes. We found both. Alone. No one in the dining room. Because of the time, 10:30 PM. The chef, Michele, smiled at us and with his simplicity confirmed that he had welcomed us into our restaurant. He immediately recommended the freshest of the day. The lobster pot shrimp, with pistachio pesto, were a poem for the palate, the linguine with clams was the sea on a plate. The wine was nectar with the contrasts of our land. Orange blossom and almonds with the minerality of the limestone of the Marzamemi area. The chef's love and simplicity are found on the dishes and in his genuine smile as he tells stories among the tables. I left a piece of me there, as happens on the rare occasions when I enjoy intimate, good and sincere moments.

03/01/2026: The ricotta ravioli and pork in sauce are excellent! You can taste the flavors of grandma's cooking, the sauce is real home-made, where you can't help but mop up the sauce! And the ricotta...simply delicious! The service is attentive, friendly, and helpful! I'll be back.

17/12/2025: We had a wonderful time at Joy Beach Lido from the start of the season in mid-May. The food, the atmosphere, the fantastic service, and the friendly staff were all amazing. We'd love to come back on May 16, 2026, and walk over from Calabernardo along the beach. Nina and Stephan

03/12/2025: The choice of appetizers & food items is varied and delicious. We had a fried burrato mozzarella with pistachios. For dinner We each had pasta. Mine with tomatoes & swordfish. My partner had spaghetti with sardines, black olives & bread crumbs. Dessert wS smaxing: a pistachio tiramus & a magnificent molten lava cake with chocolate sauce. So many things to try here. Great service & gracious host.
