07/09/2025: This place is not right off the road as it looks. It’s up a switch back and down another long road. Furthermore the hours are wrong. We came here at 1:30pm on a Sunday and the place was deserted. Not sure if it’s closed temporarily or permanently…

13/10/2025: I love the valley's pizza. I love being able to eat it, especially at lunch. The quality of the ingredients is excellent, and you can taste it in the flavors that enrich and enhance the well-made dough, which is already tasty and super digestible. The staff is always friendly, and you can tell they put a lot of love into what they do.

21/08/2025: I ordered takeout pizzas; I was the first one of the evening, and I waited 30 minutes despite the staff being very friendly. The pizzas are thin and dry, so the base is very firm. The toppings are average, but the quantity is limited. The place is simple, but well-kept and clean.

11/06/2025: Buongiorno a tutti. È stato il 10 giugno per cena due coppie. Avevo chiamato la mattina per il menù di pesce con antipasti due primi da dividere in 4 e due grigliate anche quelle da dividere. La mattina mi avevano confermato il prezzo cioè 45 euro per il singolo menù antipasti crudi e cotti, grigliata mista pesce dolce amaro e caffè quindi totale 90 e 40 euro per ogni singolo menù composto dai soliti antipasti crudi e cotti più il primo dolce amaro e caffè sempre pesce, totale 80. Per cui spesa complessivoa 170 euro. Tutto abbondante per carità ma tutta roba congelata cotta male ,vedi il tonno asciutto e stopposo come loa fetta di spada che sembrava suola. Di crudo negli antipasti solo salmone e tonno affumicato quello delle buste...lo faccio pure a casa. Il prodotto non è di qualità e sconsiglio di andare a mangiare pesce in questo posto sono stato male tutta la notte. Poi come dolce volevano darmi il sorbetto. Ma il sorbetto da quando è definito dolce? Mi sono impuntato ed allora ecco che arriva il cannolo...ma del caffè e amaro nessuna traccia... Abbiamo mangiato poco per altro la pasta era precotta si sentiva dall'amido echi da mangiare sa valutare. Sono rimasto deluso non provate a rimanere delusi pure voi. Personale intendo i ragazzi che ci hanno servito cordiali. Dimeiera compreso acque e vino.Mai piuù

01/06/2025: Trattoria Pizzeria Al Castello è posizionata vicinissima al Castello di Donnafugata. Pensavamo fosse una delle tante trattrorie per turisti, con menù turistico senza troppe pretese. Ci hanno servito due primi abbondanti, ben fatti e buoni. Il personale è giovane, cordiale e veloce. Lo consigliamo vivamente.

04/11/2025: I stayed at this beautiful villa for about two months for work. It was a wonderful experience, with great hospitality and extraordinary courtesy. The staff were all highly qualified; I practically felt at home. I absolutely recommend it.

14/10/2025: Stay away from this hotel. The listing states it is a 4 star hotel. It is barely a 3 star. we have stayed at many hotels in Italy and Europe and this must be the worst one we have ever visited. To begin with, the staff doesn't wear name tags and dresses as if they are on the street. Torn jeans and t shirts. There is NO WIFI or INTERNET. This is not an exaggeration. Unless you have a phone plan you are out of luck. THERE IS NO HOT WATER, PERIOD. Stayed 2 nights and never had any hot water. Had the engineer and others attempt to make it at least warm and all they did was shrug. The beds were cement hard, queen sheets fitted to pushed together twins to make an unstable king. The breakfast was meager with no staff monitoring whether anything needed replenishment. Things not eaten on our first day showed up on the seond day. Still not kept cool with ice or any other method of keeping things cool. On the surface, this hotel appears to be a 4 star hotel with a beautiful swimming pool and other amenities, but this is deceptive. Underneath, it is worn and needs much upgrading to be even a 3 star. How anyone could give this anything but a 1 star is beyond us unless they are travellers who aren't very discerning or are unwillig to look beneath the surface. But how could anyone ignore no hot water and no internet. our suite had a gorgeous jaccuzi, which, again, was impossible to use because NO HOT WATER. Book a stay anywhere but here. Even a motel 6 has hot water.

Highly digestible pizza and wholesome food. Adequate cleaning of the premises, in compliance with regulations. Affordable costs. Mutual respect. Recommended for those who want to spend relaxing moments and eat well. Reservations guarantee a service that exceeds expectations. The only room with a personal fireplace, available upon request.

09/11/2025: Rude staff, terrible experience, I will never go there again. I was there for breakfast and one of the employees, while making me pay, blocked the payment machine, accusing me of having blocked the machine and then asking a colleague for a toothpick to unblock the machine, banging his fist on the counter and swearing in front of the customers.

13/10/2025: My husband and I ordered 2 coffees, 2 small croissants, and two glasses of water, one of which was sparkling, at the table, but the waiter replied that it was difficult to include it in the order... Result: the croissants arrived immediately, and after a long time the coffees arrived without sugar or napkins, so my husband had to get up and get everything himself, paying €5.80 for a terrible service and total disorganization, with people smoking even in the outdoor area where smoking is prohibited!

04/10/2025: A lovely place for a delicious breakfast: they're always kind to us visually impaired people. As a Settecolli player and Italian showdown champion, I can say that, between training sessions, a stop here has become a ritual... and perhaps I owe part of my fame to their legendary carrot cake! 🥕🏆☕️

14/07/2025: This bar also sells tickets for the Giamporcaro line. Today, there's a stop-and-go public transport strike. Many of us were waiting for the 11:00 bus, which didn't arrive. I went to ask if the 1:00 bus would arrive. The owner dismissed me brusquely, saying that the 11:00 bus had arrived because he'd sold 30 tickets that morning. If it hadn't, he'd have 30 people complaining, but instead, I was the only one. What can you say to someone who concocts such illogical sophistries?

01/06/2025: I strongly advise against the food at this place, the pizzas were poor, apart from the very nice, friendly and kind waiters and waitresses, the manager (the one who had the folder with all the evening shifts) and the girl with the blonde bob who collects the bill were very unpleasant, rude and agitated, the atmosphere was nice but too small, tables outside (especially those under the trees are not recommended) because as far as I'm concerned we had several misadventures, such as a bird falling on the table three times... prices too high for such decadent food and service
