25/11/2025: When you're hungry on a Wednesday in November and want a late-night sandwich, here you'll find kindness, courtesy and excellent quality. I called them and imagine what they said: "We're waiting for you because they were closing." Excellent quality and price too. We'll be back. Well done guys, congratulations 👏
02/08/2025: I have to say that the fact that they only make sandwiches isn't a good starting point. This should imply that they're made well, but that's not the case. They're actually acceptable and no better than any other place with a wider selection. The service is poor and clearly poorly trained, the cover charge is excessive, the paper/cardboard tray is thin, and when you ask for cutlery, they only deliver chip forks that are a bit damaged, but I may have been unlucky in that regard. Furthermore, out of eight sandwiches, two arrived incorrectly, and one wasn't even fixed. The sandwich, however, was—at least mine—just what I asked for, and I was satisfied. But while the sandwich is good, it must be said that the quality/price ratio is still terrible.

01/09/2025: Fantastic! After visiting so many bars for granitas, I finally found a bar in Pazzallo where a granita with brioche costs 3 euros... I mean 3 euros! If you wander around Pozzallo, you won't find one for less than 4.50 euros, or even 5 euros, absurd! Superlative service and products... and if sometimes you have to wait, it's because it's so crowded!
Super friendly staff 😉
Highly recommended... congratulations!
Ps. ... if you don't want to wait, go to the other bars where you pay 5 euros for a granita 😉😃

23/05/2025: Our favorite ice cream parlor in Pozallo.
We like the ice cream here the best of the three on-street shops, which simply reflects our personal taste. The other two also offer good to very good ice cream.
We also like that the staff here was quite friendly.
There's seating outside on the street here, too.
Prices are typical for the area.
01/05/2025: Some of the tastiest ice creams I've ever tasted. Deserves a 5-star rating.

Trattoria tipica locale con piatti cucinati a regola d’arte. Ci siamo fermati per il pranzo della domenica, il posto ci ha invogliato perché molto tranquillo e siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi dalla qualità delle pietanze. A completare l’esperienza la splendida gestione familiare e la simpatia del sig. Ignazio. Torneremo di sicuro!

20/11/2025: We waited half an hour to be served but no one came to the table to take a simple reservation, in my opinion you should pay more attention to the tables and not stay distracted talking without first providing service to the customer.
18/10/2025: The problem with this place is that it's always crowded. Consequently, service can be slow at times. But the quality of the food deserves 6-7 stars, which more than makes up for any poor service or extra wait time.

14/09/2025: Takeout pizzeria with a wide selection of pizzas, including organic whole wheat pizzas. Excellent prices.
It's a takeout pizzeria, but with tables and chairs, so you have to do everything yourself. You get your pizza on a plate, cutlery, and glasses and drinks. Very good pizzas. Recommended.

You can also eat in, but there's no table service.

15/10/2025: The hotel is a bit dated, with some of the furniture also quite old. The rooms are clean, and the towels are changed daily. Overall, it's very comfortable, as are the soaps. The breakfast was decent. The service was very attentive. Overall, my opinion is positive.

10/08/2025: I can't find anything good about this hotel; to say it's dated is an understatement!!!
The rooms are dirty, the bathroom and shower don't work, and the room balconies are full of pigeon droppings.
In all my years of traveling, I've never encountered such a horror!!!!!

05/09/2025: If you see this sign passing by, keep going, especially around 1:30 PM for lunch...
We ordered some leftover rustici (from the night before) that weren't even reheated properly. It might not be a good indicator, but the worst thing was that they sold us empty sandwiches displayed in the window, as hard as Apulian friselle. We couldn't eat them, so we threw them away.
I strongly advise the guys behind the counter to smile and try to understand that customers deserve good service and that yesterday's products should be thrown away or donated to those in need, because that's what keeps you opening the door every day.
23/06/2025: They said the order was going to take 30 minutes it took a hour and my gf who is allergic to milk products the gave her a cheese pizza she told them threw out them making it and after they gave her the chees pizza they got mad when she said she wanted a plane one bc they gave her that when she clearly stated over 10 times she can't anything with milk or cheese and they gave her the right pizza but kept complaining

28/09/2025: I returned after about five years, confident I'd find the quality, reasonably priced self-service restaurant I remembered and frequented. I brought others along, confident I could offer a decent, unpretentious yet tasty lunch with a wide selection of local dishes.
Unfortunately, it was a disappointment, especially for me, given how I knew and remembered it.
They lowered the quality of everything: the dishes offered, the menu lacking in both portions and quality, and the staff, and therefore the service, had dropped.
I thought management had changed; I didn't recognize the staff, but then the owner came out of the kitchen and confirmed that management was unchanged.
When you notice and experience firsthand these drops in quality and standard, you're saddened and a bit disappointed. I can try to understand the objective difficulties in maintaining quality standards, but the path taken unfortunately leads to a loss of customers.
This review is intended to encourage the owner to change course and return to the offerings he once offered, which the establishment deserves.
