31/05/2026: Lovely place, we ate really good traditional Sicilian dishes. A great day trip outside Palermo!

24/05/2026: In the middle of an olive field, very Sicilian experience. It üs a restaurant where locals go on weekends. They serve local food which was excellent from the delicious vegetarian dishes as the starters to the meat and cannolo at the end. Portions were incredibly generous, enough to feed an army.

12/05/2026: The coffee was very burnt, the waiters' attitude left something to be desired.

02/03/2026: The owner is very friendly, and the vintage menu is excellent and plentiful. Definitely worth a try.

14/07/2026: Well, an experience definitely not to be repeated. I think the owner, who only came over to take our order, probably thought we were foreigners... tourists or something, considering the excessively high bill. The three of us paid €320.00 with a small discount!! And thank goodness!!!! A slice of tomahawk meat divided between three of us. Three appetizers: Iberian ham, three small pieces of sausage, and a small plate of cooked vegetables. Two bottles of red wine from Cantine Catanesi, and two barely noticeable grappas!!! All in all, €320.00. So much for that!!! I certainly can't give a good impression. He offered us 1.2 kg of meat, and the tomahawk must weigh at least 1.4 kg, but who cares, with maybe 150 grams of Iberian ham, does that seem normal to you??? At that point, I would have gone to a gourmet restaurant!!!! Highly not recommended. Move on if you can. You'll never see me again. The restaurant didn't live up to the final prices. Failed.

30/11/2025: Today I visited Monreale with my family. It was beautiful. I called a local friend and asked where I could go for a traditional meal, and he suggested Al Matteotti Bistrot. I must say that Enzo and Domenico, the owners, welcomed me right away, making me feel right at home. Reading the menu, I was spoiled for choice, so I left it to myself. They served me some truly excellent appetizers and main courses, typical of the area and truly interesting in flavor. But beyond that, there's so much more to choose from, from sandwiches to salads, etc. When I return to Monreale, it will be my regular stop. I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy excellent cuisine at a very affordable price. You'll find it just a few meters from the Piazza del Duomo.

22/07/2026: I'm French and I think I ate the best pizza of my life today (salami), thank you so much!!! The waitress was very friendly. The place is absolutely charming in my opinion, with an authentic atmosphere. Beautiful paintings!

07/07/2026: A lovely evening outdoors in a large garden, very welcoming staff, and above all, excellent pizza. Homemade chips and lemon granita were kindly offered on the house—a little extra attention to customer service. We'll definitely be back.

09/07/2026: We sat down at a table and a waitress came to ask us what we wanted to drink. It was 9:45. We politely asked for a menu to see what was available, since for once we wanted something other than a simple Coke. The waitress brought us the menu and we began to browse the options. After a few minutes, the person we assumed was the manager approached us in an annoyed tone, took the menu from us, and told us the kitchen would be serving later. Despite this, we still ordered a Coke. We were far too polite. Addressing your customers in this way is simply unacceptable. Such behavior is unworthy of a business that should welcome its customers with courtesy and respect.

11/06/2026: Great location and not really overpriced. Had a basic pizza which was good. The service was good except for the manager. Spend the whole time on the phone standing next to our table.

14/01/2026: Mirto Giovanni dal 1971 & C. S.A.S. is an Italian company that operates primarily in the hospitality sector as a bar and café. The establishment is known as Bar Mirto Giovanni, where it offers café services, pastries (especially Sicilian sweets), and light meals.

31/12/2025: Extremely expensive! Avoid. 12.50 for two cappuccinos, two pastries, and a small dessert.

24/07/2026: While we waited to be served, the employees ate their spaghetti aside. They were also very rude and seemed nervous and annoyed. The most surprising thing was that there weren't many people in the restaurant, making this behavior even more difficult to understand.

23/07/2026: I ate the menu that included parking, is it better to have the menu or raise the price of the menu that included parking, you can really notice the difference between the two menus... even in terms of quality and quantity, I've seen places that do it but you have to try to be equal with all customers regardless of what you choose... from 1 to 10 for me it's a 6

12/07/2026: They tried to charge us €6 for two cappuccinos. Luckily, it was before we even had them, while they were making them, and obviously we left without paying. They try to scam you if you look like a tourist.

12/07/2026: DO NOT ENTER!!! A typical bar trying to take advantage of tourists. I ordered a cappuccino, and when I asked for the receipt, I immediately realized they were trying to overcharge me. In the end, the sly guy got screwed: I left without paying, and the cappuccinos remained on the counter.
