Hotel Villa Medea Restaurant In Monreale

I've eaten at Villa Mirto many times and have never been disappointed, so I decided to celebrate my graduation there, too, and I couldn't have made a better choice. For me, it's the place with the best quality/price ratio in the entire Monreale area and the surrounding area! The ladies who run it were incredibly kind, always available to accommodate any request I had in customizing the menu and organizing the dining room. They decorated it beautifully and were incredibly quick and efficient with the buffet, looking after me throughout the evening. It's a rustic place with a traditional feel, and the dining room we were in is surrounded by greenery. With a little updating and landscaping, it would be even more beautiful! Perfect for those looking for a rustic and charming place with excellent traditional Sicilian cuisine.

Wonderful place, above all expectations, genuine food, delicious, staff very attentive to everything, but the wonderful thing is the attention they have for the animals, kept with love, care in everything, cleanliness, organization, everything impeccable, highly recommended both for the food and for experiencing a day with the family in total relaxation between nature and animals.

The food is excellent and plentiful, and the service is excellent for a fairly modest €25 per person. I highly recommend it.

Farmhouse accommodation with an adjoining pool. It was a hot day, but the food was good. Vast open spaces, some with trees, with loungers everywhere, and not to mention the children's playground.

What can I say, everything was perfect and delicious!! From the food to the waiters, we even enjoyed the pool, relaxing music, what more could you ask for? And if you spend it with the people you love, it's even more beautiful.

For my son's confirmation, I decided to organize an afternoon at the pool with his friends. The facility is nice. Perhaps too crowded, but it's crowded precisely because it's not bad. The price is also affordable. What keeps me from enjoying the afternoon relaxing on the lounge chairs is a group of smokers behind me, making it impossible for me and the children to rest—or even breathe. I know that in Palermo (unlike other more civilized cities that respect children and their health) this is "legal." However, this doesn't make it any less unpleasant. Both because the children understandably refuse to lounge on the lounge chairs we rented, and because, as I mentioned before, I too struggle to breathe with the constant stench of smoke. For this reason, I feel compelled not to give the 5 stars I would give, but only 3: because it would be appropriate to at least divide the area into "smokers and non-smokers," so as to allow those like me with health problems or children, for whom smoking is notoriously more harmful, to enjoy their days in a peaceful and, above all, healthy way. I hope this comment will be taken for what it is: advice for developing a facility that is otherwise very nice and worthy, but has this flaw that is not directly attributable to the management but which inevitably affects the enjoyment of the facility.

Today I chose Villa Mirto as a special birthday gift for my father...spending time together over a delicious lunch. It was a choice I would definitely make again. The first thing we appreciated was the pleasant coolness of the place, a true oasis from the heat of Palermo. The air-conditioned dining room is beautifully appointed, welcoming, and impeccably clean. My father chose the reduced menu with seven appetizers, two first courses, fruit, and dessert, while I opted for seven appetizers, a second course, fruit, and dessert. All the courses were carefully prepared, plentiful, and truly delicious, with authentic flavors that showcase local tradition. We ate wonderfully and felt welcomed with great warmth. A tranquil place, surrounded by greenery, perfect for those looking to spend a few hours in total relaxation. For me, it was a special day, made even more beautiful by the wonderful experience I had at Villa Mirto. The only downside, though not the fault of the establishment, was that there was a dog at one table that barked very frequently and was quite annoying. Otherwise, highly recommended.
