19/07/2025: Apparently locals eat here, prices are really affordable, authenticity is spot on but the food is...so. The tortellini is also good and optimally cooked but the bechamel is like some soup; the lasagna was most likely bought in a store. The bottle of wine is average and without a label. 3 stars only for the good service.

11/07/2025: We ordered three dishes, encouraged by the positive reviews and high user ratings. The owner brought us ready-made dishes from the store right before our eyes. He heated them up one by one in the microwave. Avoid this place completely. A huge disappointment for Sicilian food, renowned for its quality and flavor.

01/08/2025: We came here in the day. Great service, friendly waiter, Rigatoni special was excellent and homemade mango dessert was beautiful!

The pastries are fresh and flaky, and the coffee is rich, smooth, and full of flavor—just what you need to start the day right. There’s a great selection to choose from, so there’s something for everyone. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. A perfect morning in Taormina!

05/08/2025: The food was very bad - I had a stale calzone and the worst pistachio croissant I’ve ever had. The pistachio was a gelatinous sludge with a chemical taste.The first cappuccino was good while the second was undrinkable. Unfortunately the higher rated places were busy and we were desperate for a coffee.

26/07/2025: Cheap drinks and large ones so I can recommend only 7 euros and drinks here are 12 euros so it's worth it and very good

08/05/2025: Vino a través de este lugar en nuestro primer día en Taormina para el almuerzo. Tuvimos un gran almuerzo en una bonita terraza. La pizza era la mejor que tuvimos en Taormina y una gran carbonara también. Terminé viniendo aquí para almorzar dos de los cuatro días aquí. Buena relación calidad-precio y lo recomendaría.

04/05/2025: Lindo comedor con vista, pero eso es todo. La comida es promedio, pero sorprendentemente el vino fue diluido. Pedimos una jarra de vino tinto de la casa y nos quedamos atónitos cuando lo probamos y obviamente era medio agua. Nunca he tenido esto en ningún restaurante.

16/05/2025: Este fue un hallazgo en Taormina. Ligeramente lejos de las principales cafeterías y tiendas. Teníamos mariscos increíbles, almejas, mejillones y lubina fresca, bañados con delicioso vino local.

07/05/2025: Gran ambiente escondido de la calle principal y la comida y el personal eran encantadores. Solo ten cuidado con las bebidas gratuitas que ponen en la mesa y luego agregar a su cuenta al final.

12/08/2025: If you can, pass by. The quality is mediocre, and some dishes are ridiculous. Considering Italy and the years they've been open, it's a disaster. The price is exorbitant for what they offer.

09/08/2025: The only plus is the beautiful terrace, the prices for the dishes do not match the quality. We went there by accident, because we confused it with the neighboring restaurant Osteria Santa Dominica. We ordered spaghetti with a series for 30 euros, it does not even smell like seafood. I do not recommend it, complete disappointment. The worst restaurant we dined in during 10 days in Sicily. As a result, we ate tasteless spaghetti and tasteless swordfish, which was clearly frozen before. And we paid 82 euros for this disgusting dinner. Better close this restaurant than deceive people.

24/06/2025: La mia esperienza in questo ristorante è stata decisamente negativa. Il pesce crudo, che avrebbe dovuto essere il punto di forza del menù, era chiaramente al limite di freschezza, se non passato. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è inaccettabile: prezzi alti per piatti privi di gusto, mal bilanciati e dall’aspetto trascurato. L’estetica è trascurata, con accostamenti discutibili e una cura inesistente per i dettagli. Inaccettabile poi trovare nel piatto il carapace del granchio lasciato lì senza alcun criterio: una scelta di pessimo gusto, che compromette sia la fruibilità del piatto che l’esperienza complessiva. Unica nota positiva, la possibilità di cenare all’esterno con vista sulla piazza. Peccato che anche questa venga rovinata da una postazione scomodissima, con tavoli così stretti da rendere difficile l'accesso

22/06/2025: Molto deludente. I balconcini panoramici sulla piazza, sono piccolissimi e scomodi. I decantati piatti di pesce senza carattere, sapori slegati e, per questo, ingiustificatamente costosissimi . Spaghetti all'astice meno che mediocri, della pasta tipo gnocchetti con broccoli e gamberi rossi di Mazara, con gamberi senza sapore assolutamente non freschi ed affogati in un incomprensibile sugo con broccoli che induce seri interrogativi sul percorso formativo dello chef. Insipidi e malamente riscaldati gli antipasti. Dulcis in fundo, cannoli siciliani insignificanti ripieni solo ai lati, con cannolo praticamente per lo più vuoto. Il conto è stato il colpo di grazia 241 euro in due. Questo ristorante è un enorme bluff.

30/06/2025: This (historic) bar in Taormina; family-run; does not present itself with sumptuous furnishings; nor will you find large spaces for parking; but once you enter all this will simply be irrelevant. On the contrary, you will find the real Sicilian brioche; combined with the real lemon granita; you will find the traditional wonderful mignon pastry; you will find first courses made as you would make them at home; you will find low and regular costs; and you will find that kindness and courtesy of the owner; which is typical, and intrinsic to us: true Sicilians.

11/08/2025: This restaurant has a great location, just across from the square, but the staff's attitude was surprising. They impatiently asked if we wanted to eat or just have drinks. When we said we wanted drinks, they casually pointed to the outermost seats. Because it was hot and someone was smoking next to us, we wanted to sit further inside. The staff was very impatient and told us those seats were only for diners. Given their focus on turnover and complete disregard for customers, we ultimately didn't eat at this restaurant. Not recommended!

11/08/2025: My wife and I went here to meet a family member immediately following our wedding in the gardens, and the food was exceptional. We shared a few dishes, including octopus, which turned out to be amazing.
