20/08/2025: The pizza was a bit dry and the arancini were cold. The waiters were friendly, but my plate was broken. I wasn't expecting that from a centrally located bar. The approach to tourists needs to be reconsidered; it's very cold.

22/07/2025: We arrived a little early to eat pizza on the Granduca terrace, but the pizzeria wasn't open yet. Despite this, the staff was incredibly welcoming: they sat us down anyway and offered us a glass of prosecco while we waited, telling us to enjoy the view. And what a view! The sunset over the bay of Taormina is truly magical. The kindness and courtesy of the entire staff made the evening even more enjoyable. And the pizza? Truly delicious, with a light dough and quality ingredients.

22/07/2025: I've been there for dinner several times, and the service was excellent. The service is very good. I want to highlight the waiter, Axel, and the tall, bearded young man who took our order. The atmosphere is remarkable, with a view of the sea, Capo Taormina. I was lucky enough to see an incredible red moon the first time I went. Excellent place for a variety of occasions, from a date to a family dinner or a private event.

18/04/2025: La comida era excelente. Vi a los camareros 3 veces reutilizar el pan no comido y los palitos de pan de las cestas de las mesas. De hecho, vi a un camarero sacar dos trozos de pan de la cesta que parecía medio comido y luego rellenar la cesta con un par de panes nuevos para otra mesa.

18/08/2025: I received a review notice from my daughter for the best Pasta alla Norma I've ever eaten. I, who am the father and have been cooking for 40 years, was put aside by her for telling me that this one she ate was better than mine at least 10 times. Does that mean I'm a bad cook? No, it's simply because La Scala makes an exceptional Pasta alla Norma and I know my daughter is a great foodie! Thanks guys, my little girl is happy tonight! I'll come visit you as soon as possible.

15/09/2025: We stumbled upon this lovely place in a side alley off of the main drag in Taormina. The food was amazing. The braised beef melted in your mouth. A hidden gem!

02/09/2025: Located away from the crowd we though we found the perfect place for dinner. Little did we (me, my wife and daughters) know that we weren't welcome. With several tables outside free we asked the waiter for one. That's when the "big" guy told the waiter, in Italian, that "they(!) can only get a table inside". So all of a sudden all tables outside was reserved. What he didn't know was my wife speaks Italian, so she heard it all. Discrimination is ugly. Stay away from this place, at least if you planned to bring your kids.

Simply excellent everything, the food, the comfortable environment, the furnishings, the objects, the colors all typical Sicilian, the staff all very kind, the worst speaks five languages, 👏👏 a beautiful capercaillie. 😊👏, We spent a carefree evening with good food, music and karaoke, what we were looking for! We had fun 🤠 highly recommended place, I recommend calling and booking. before going!

13/05/2025: Caffè Isola Bella – A Cozy Sicilian Spot A lovely place with a true Sicilian vibe! The gnocchi alla Sorrentina was delicious—soft, fresh, and full of flavor. The boat-shaped plate and hand-painted table added a fun touch. Friendly staff, great view, and perfect for a quick meal or sweet treat like granita or cannoli.

15/07/2025: Good pizza place. The other food is less than regular, very little amount of food, and expensive.

14/07/2025: Tourist restaurant. Small portions at prices you wouldn't even see in Piazza Duomo. The dishes, in my opinion, aren't typical of a trattoria. I definitely don't recommend them.

06/07/2025: Fairly pricy for the quality. Very sweet cocktail despite saying not sweet please. Table cleared and asked if we wanted dessert while still waiting for main course to arrive. Pleasant enough setting and some friendly staff but have had better meals and service for less in Sicily and even in Taormina.

11/06/2025: Good service but the prices are too high and the portions too small. The restaurant was 75% empty at dinner time.

20/05/2025: Wenig Qualität für viel Geld. Alles schmeckt gleich nach nichts. Kartoffeln kalt und schwimmen Fett, ein paar lauwarme Zucchini- und Auberginenscheiben als Beilage des Tages um 12 Euro. Die Fischröllchen kommen gänzlich ungewürzt und schmecken nach nichts. Ein echter Reinfall.

30/07/2025: Revestido aquí de nuevo después de nuestra última visita hace 3 años, y recomendaría a cualquiera que quiera comer aquí para probar su comida y bebidas. El propietario reconoció de inmediato cuando nos vio en nuestra noche de 1 calle de vuelta en Taormina después de una brecha de 3 años. nos recibió como amigos perdidos hace mucho tiempo y era muy hablador y nos dio la bienvenida allí. Magdalana nos reconoció también y tuvimos una buena charla mientras placiong nuestra orden con ella. Ambiente muy relajado allí y todo el personal allí es cálido y tranquilo. La comida es buena y los precios muy razonables también, nuestros amigos que estaban con nosotros también quedaron impresionados con la comida y los precios. tampoco te apuran así que te sientas, comes, bebes y te relajas sin que te apuren.

24/05/2025: Stopped in for a quick bite after a walk in Taormina. The service was great lovely waitress. It’s on a busy corner so people watching is great. The food was good as were the pastries and coffee. Good spot to stop

27/04/2025: Il nostro porto sicuro una volta uscite da lavoro…e ancora prima di entrarci! Con la loro gentilezza allietano le nostre giornate, per non parlare poi dei loro prodotti di qualità , personalmente ho un debole per i loro arancini!

02/08/2025: We had dinner with about 40 people to celebrate a musical event we organized, and we decided to do a traditional pizza tour to sample a wider variety of flavors. Some guests decided to try dishes from the restaurant. We were both adults and children, so we were worried about a long wait. In reality, everything went smoothly, from the orders to the organization, the speed of the pizzas' delivery, and the quality, which was truly excellent. In the end, we couldn't finish them all and decided to split them up to take home, given the abundance. As in all these situations, one would expect a lot of confusion in dividing the portions, but the owner handled everything perfectly, dividing the portions among those who consumed them and leaving the rest for those who ordered something else. I sincerely thank Bruno and Aisatà, as well as the entire staff, for helping to make a great impression on my guests. See you soon.
