18/01/2026: We had a reservation for 12:00 on New Year’s Day, but were not seated until 12:47. During this time, staff repeatedly told us it would be “another 10 minutes,” which was said multiple times without any clear update or honesty about the delay. While waiting, we could overhear staff discussing that the owner had decided to open at 12 following New Year’s celebrations, and that several staff members did not want to be there. When we eventually entered the restaurant, tables were still being set up, and we were asked to wait in a seating area for a further extended period. Once seated, we were not provided with menus or offered drinks. After asking three separate times for menus—each time being told “five minutes”—a further 15 minutes passed with no service. At that point, we decided to leave. For an establishment that presents itself as high-end and holds a Michelin star, this level of organisation, service, and professionalism was extremely disappointing. Delays can happen, but poor communication, lack of basic service, and unprofessional behaviour are not acceptable at this standard. The experience did not meet expectations, and staff training and customer service clearly need improvement.

23/12/2025: A beautiful boutique hotel in the historic part of Taormina (between Porto di Catania and Piazza Duomo). It's a historic building with a garden and relaxation area. We had a delicious dinner at the Bistrot. The rooms are spacious and have all the necessary amenities. The design is interesting. The charming, long-haired, and beautiful receptionist always took care of us and helped us with every need. I highly recommend it – if you're in Taormina, Méodusa Bistrot & Suits is the place to be.

07/12/2025: Unexpected beautiful coastal view, entrance tucked away on Vico Teofane Cerameo. Pizza was great but other options are also on the menu. Visited on a late June afternoon and immediately got a table without a reservation and service was friendly and mostly attentive.

18/11/2025: Ristorante Pizzeria in Taormina was a fantastic find on our work outing with the ImmerTwin team while doing immersive scans in the area. It’s set slightly off the main thoroughfare, so you get a more secluded, peaceful atmosphere – not packed at lunchtime, which was perfect. The food was fresh and delicious, and the whole place had a really relaxed, welcoming feel. The views across the valley are absolutely incredible, so I’d definitely recommend asking for a table near an open window when you book. Everyone in our group loved it – highly recommend.

23/09/2025: We were sitting on the beach in front of the restaurant. The smell of food made us hungry. I then found cozze (mussels) on the menu. The portion was a generous €15. I've never tasted better. Slightly spicy, with garlic, tomato, and white wine. Coperto was €1.50. The cozze is a dream. Good service with a sea view. Moretti draft beer is too expensive at €6 (0.4l).

22/09/2025: Lack of transparency... a well-kept beach in an excellent location... but what we consumers cannot and will not forgive is the lack of transparency and the unclear information regarding prices for admission, sunbeds, umbrellas, etc.

07/11/2025: This is a gem of a place on the Main Street in Taormina. Lovely cozy bar atmosphere, with great ambient music. We went on a rainy evening and it was the perfect place to escape the weather. They offer a wonderful selection of cocktails, and light food. We were six people, and had 2 very nicely arranged cheese and charcuterie platters, and two pizzas, and the portions were generous enough that we had enough food for dinner. The wait staff were friendly and anxious to please. We would definitely recommend.

10/11/2025: The ambiance is wonderful, located in a dreamy area, very close to the Greek Theatre of Taormina, and across from the small Church of San Domenico. The atmosphere is very welcoming; there are always musicians wandering around the restaurants, adding a vibrant touch to the dining experience. I enjoyed the food; I tried three dishes: eggplant parmigiana, pasta with shrimp, and grilled clams. My favorite was the grilled clams.

16/10/2025: I really loved The Cherry Bar and visited a few times on my recent trip to Taormina. Such a relaxing little place with outdoor seating and good service. Antonio is so friendly and accommodating and Stephanie is the best! The chef makes the best Lasagna, so light and delicious! Drinks were delicious and generous! I also made sure to pick out a few fine pastries to enjoy later before I left. A must visit on your way thru Taormina!

23/10/2025: Went here for lunch on a weekday, the place was practically empty as it is a part of a 5 star hotel. The outdoor dining terrace is bang on the beach with the beautiful mazzaro cove in full sight. The service levels were very high and they do charge a 15 percent service charge for the same. The food we ordered was routine fare like tuna tartare, a vegetarian pizza and pasta norma. Everything was as it should be, but nothing stood out as exceptional. Would recommend the place for a lazy lunch while visiting isolabella.

16/10/2025: We went as a group for a birthday. I chose the restaurant. We were all impressed by the charming setting and the impeccable service, with waiters who spoke French. But when the food arrived, we were all disappointed. Given the exorbitant prices, I felt really uncomfortable. Go there if you want to enjoy a pleasant setting and good service, but if you want to eat well, don't go. The dishes really lack flavor—you wouldn't think you were in Italy, which is a shame.
