23/02/2026: Caldera is a truly special chalet, immersed in nature and perfect for unwinding. The property is incredibly comfortable and well-maintained, but what makes the stay fantastic is everything the place offers: silence and a unique atmosphere. Plus, the accommodation includes two mountain bikes, perfect for exploring the surrounding area and fully experiencing the volcano on which Caldera is located: an experience that makes the holiday even more authentic and fun. Special mention also goes to Flavio, the host, who is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and always available with helpful advice and thoughtful touches that make all the difference. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return, because this is one of those experiences worth repeating (and enjoying even more).

11/03/2026: We agreed over the phone for a fixed menu costing €40, including an appetizer, three first courses, two second courses (a fillet with mushrooms and Angus beef with a side dish), dessert, and coffee. The wait was ridiculous... we sat down at 1:00 PM, and the first course was served at 2:50 PM, only to receive a second course at 4:30 PM, which was also different from the one we'd ordered. We were still waiting for the agreed-upon second course, and were told that only one second course was available. We called the owner to express our disappointment at what had happened, but he reiterated that only one second course was available, denying that he'd said there were two second courses. He walked away while we asked for an explanation, thus avoiding a calm discussion with his customers. After a few minutes, the waiter arrived and brought us the bill, saying that the owner had offered a small discount for what had happened. We received a €2.50 discount per person for not having the Angus beef with a side dish, dessert, and coffee. A terrible experience. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED

08/03/2026: Sunday lunch menu agreed upon over the phone and not respected. Poor quality and quantity, long waits, and steep prices. After discussing it with the owner, we couldn't even reach an agreement. Not to be repeated, I strongly advise against it.

16/03/2026: We had dinner on a Saturday evening. The location is beautiful, with very refined and elegant decor in shades of pastel green. Very nice. We had to make a reservation because the place was packed, especially on Saturdays, so we went in during the second sitting. The service was very slow; we had to wait almost 20 minutes for a bottle of water. The girls in the dining room were kind and very helpful in accommodating my intolerance. We ordered three pizzas and a beef burger. The burger was truly beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. Excellent. The other three pizzas were really good, nice and large and well-topped. The only downside, I repeat, was the very slow service. It took us an hour to eat, but given the large crowd, that's understandable. We also ordered dessert, which was really good. I highly recommend this place and will be back. The bill was truly excellent and fair; I wasn't expecting it. Panta Rei is highly recommended. ❤️

22/02/2026: We visited this restaurant for lunch on February 20, 2026, driven by expectations that, unfortunately, were completely unmet. The overall experience was profoundly disappointing, to the point that we have categorically ruled out returning. The service was characterized by a barely excusable sloppiness: disorganized waiting times, poor customer service, and a lack of logical coherence in the presentation of the dishes. The quality of the dishes was modest; in particular, the meat—the centerpiece of the €25 Sunday set menu—was served cold, an unacceptable circumstance from both a gastronomic and professional perspective. The menu also included two tastings of first courses, which, according to the restaurant's approach, should have been served after the main course. However, only one was served, omitting the second tasting entirely without any explanation. Despite our reporting of the poor service, the final bill included the full cost of both menus, without any adjustment or gesture of attention to the customer. The overall impression is one of inexperienced management, with staff clearly lacking adequate training in the restaurant industry. In light of the above, we cannot recommend this establishment in any way.
