05/10/2025: Five of us had a reservation, and the hour-long wait was unnerving. The first courses arrived at different times, the last course arriving after a full 15 minutes, so each diner ate alone. As for the second courses, a good half-hour passed, and after this additional wait, only one second course arrived. A second course arrived later, but it was the wrong course, as we had specifically asked not to include the chicken in the mixed grill, which was actually on our plate, so it was sent back. After another few minutes of waiting, a slice of meat arrived, and we had repeatedly requested oil, but it arrived completely cold and inedible. Meanwhile, the mixed grill was returned to the table, still with the chicken we never requested. At this point, the owner explained to the table that they had a banquet, so they had neglected the rest of the guests. I will never return to this restaurant, I was very disappointed.

05/10/2025: A location at the foot of Mount Etna, ideal for those returning from a hike or a simple stroll in the woods. Attentive service, excellent food, and a recommended dish is the tagliatelle alla Boscaiola. The only drawback is the sometimes lengthy wait (perhaps because it's Sunday) and the lack of responsiveness from the dining room.

16/09/2025: Unfortunately, I wasn't satisfied... the bread was obviously from the day before... the baked chips were too full of oil... we actually left them... the cocktail was good... the other sandwich was pistachio, yes, but very oily too... I'm sorry... but the burger meat was of excellent quality...

05/10/2025: The place was freezing cold when you entered the first room. The pizza tasted awful, especially the one with cheddar. A bottle of still water was 4.50, which was too expensive for a bottle of unknown water. The sandwiches were limited and the prices were high for the quality of the food.

20/06/2025: Great Location, But Poorly Maintained and Misleading "Breakfast" This chalet has a lot of potential, it’s in a peaceful, scenic spot on the slopes of Etna, and the setting is truly lovely. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the location. The place felt rundown. Only one of the four kitchen burners worked, which made cooking frustrating. The shower setup was inconvenient, and even flushing the toilet was a hassle. On top of that, a group of 7 or 8 cats constantly hovered around our door, meowing for food — not exactly relaxing. One of the most disappointing aspects was the so-called "breakfast" that was included in the booking. It consisted of packaged dried toasts, a tiny packaged croissant, and a few apples, none of which we ended up eating. It felt like an afterthought rather than something meant to welcome guests. If we had known the breakfast was going to be this poor, we would have brought our own food. With proper maintenance and more honest communication, this place could be a gem. But in its current state, it just doesn't deliver.

16/09/2025: We opted for the mixed grill. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The prices were decidedly exorbitant for the quality and quantity of what we were served. Furthermore, the menu wasn't followed: the mixed grills didn't contain anything at all as described on the menu. They were changed without warning and completely replaced with other meats without any explanation or alternative offered. The same went for the salad. A chicken Caesar salad that didn't even smell of buffalo mozzarella. For the level of service and the dishes we received, the value for money is truly unsatisfactory. Disappointing.

01/09/2025: I dined here on Sunday evening and I have to say that the initial impression was very good thanks to the very pleasant setting and atmosphere, thanks also to the Christmas and mountain theme. However, as soon as the main courses arrived, everything changed drastically: the waiter was particularly strange because he intentionally switched the plates despite us having told them who owned them. Okay, let's pretend he was trying to be nice. As soon as I picked up the plate with the green pepper fillet, the stench of rotten meat that had been spoiling for at least several days (if not weeks) completely destroyed my appetite. I wanted to try to eat it all the way through out of respect for my fellow diners, but I couldn't, and I also spent the evening in the bathroom with a terrible stomach ache. It's absolutely incredible that someone would serve something like this. Moreover, I asked for it medium rare and it arrived still mooing (in a slurred way, since, judging by the smell, it could have been a zombie cow at best). My girlfriend ordered pumpkin cream gnocchi, which tasted like they'd been burned during cooking; the guanciale was soft and chewy. Personally, I wouldn't recommend it; it's a shame about the atmosphere.

31/08/2025: Last night I went to Baita di Rosemary in Nicolosi and it was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. The menu was ridiculous and lacking in choice, and the service was embarrassing: the waiters kept coming to my table to ask me what I'd ordered, as if they didn't even know what they were doing. The beer was watered down, the pizza was burnt with dough from a frozen supermarket, and the bruschetta even had rotten tomatoes. It was a low-quality canteen, passed off as a restaurant. Calling it awful would be a compliment: a mockery for anyone who sets foot there. Highly discouraged.

05/10/2025: Enough, I forgot!!!!! the dog.....for goodness sake, nothing against the dog, but in the room where people eat...it could be a nuisance...we're talking about a public place...everyone in their home can keep their dog wherever they want

31/08/2025: Beautiful location, excellent and plentiful food, fabulous pizzeria. The lady at the cash register was very nice and welcoming. She even offered us a complimentary liqueur. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back.

22/08/2025: Before booking, I read the reviews and, without hesitation, booked a table for my family (4 people). The atmosphere was nice until the next table arrived with noisy children... but, after asking for a change of table, I was immediately given one. The staff was friendly but not attentive. An even more disappointing note was the food. We ordered three pizzas and a pasta dish. It arrived 20 minutes early... and we ate it frozen. You should know that the pasta should be topped a few minutes before the pizza comes out... never mind. The pizzas finally arrived, mine was wrong, so I waited a bit longer... inedible. A simple Margherita: raw dough, burnt toppings, so thin and dry I couldn't cut it; My husband's Cacio e Pepe: the same. Pleasant flavor, but raw dough. Too bad, I definitely won't be returning.
