11/08/2026: The restaurant looks good, with a lovely interior and wall paintings. However, with the change of management, it became a pizzeria only, offering both seafood and meat appetizers and desserts. The food, however, didn't meet our expectations, which we'd built up from reading the reviews. The appetizers were mediocre, although they didn't seem fresh; the pizza was dry and unrefined; and the seada wasn't good, as the cheese was lumpy and strong. It seemed a bit like a restaurant catering to foreign tourists, of which it was actually full. At this price point, there are better choices.

28/07/2026: I ordered a portion of barchette, and they were so salty that they were impossible to eat. My husband went to speak with the chef, but instead of acknowledging the problem, he simply said, “That’s how we make them.” How can you put that much salt in food? Salt should be available on the table so that each customer can season their meal according to their own taste, not have it ruined before it even reaches them. The most unbelievable part was when the waitress brought us napkins and suggested we wipe the excess salt off the food. I’ve never experienced anything like this before. This was extremely disappointing and completely unacceptable. Unfortunately, this place does not deserve even one star based on our experience.

28/07/2026: There are no great words. The location is enchanting, overlooking the sea, but the best thing is the staff. The first thing I've done for the past 15 years as soon as I arrive here is have breakfast at Cake. The Moroccan cake with solid foam is hard to find. Cakes and brioches are worth 10. A guarantee.

09/08/2026: A disappointment... with a few surprises. Let's start with something important: the restaurant has two kitchens, and judging by what we ate, they truly seem like two different worlds. One part is definitely worth a visit, the other... perhaps another chance, but not on our part. 😅 We're from Alghero and know the flavors of our cuisine well. So, when we go out to eat, we know pretty well what to expect from a plate of mussels, a fish cooked in garlic sauce, or a seafood fregola. The waitress who served us, a blonde lady, certainly didn't contribute to making the experience more pleasant: she had a rather haughty attitude and lacked professionalism. Let's just say that the welcome wasn't exactly the highlight of the evening. The appetizers? Okay. The bread? Okay. So far, nothing to complain about. Then came the mussels. And here we had a real surprise... unfortunately, not in a good way. 😂 Mussels tasteless, without texture, practically boiled, and then accompanied by a tomato sauce that seemed to have the same enthusiasm as the mussels: zero. As a local from Alghero, I can confidently say it was one of the worst mussel experiences I've ever had. Rating: 0. The fish with garlic sauce? Definitely better, but not quite as impressive. Rating: 5. Then came the seafood fregola. It wasn't bad, mind you. But it wasn't the kind of dish that makes you think, "Wow, I want more!" Let's just say it was there... and it did its job. 😅 Rating: 6. To be fair, though, I must also mention the positives: in the other part of the restaurant, the pizzas are very good and the gelato is truly excellent. So evidently, the two cuisines aren't just physically separated... even the result on the plate seems to belong to two completely different restaurants. In conclusion: pizza and gelato yes, seafood... definitely not. It's a shame, because we expected a lot from a restaurant in Alghero and instead it's the classic one that cooks for tourists

23/02/2026: Wonderful location. The hotel is dated, but efficient.

20/01/2026: We stayed two nights. The hotel was clean, the room very large, and the terrace was lovely, complete with a table, chairs, and two loungers. Breakfast was quite varied, with both sweet and savory options. The location was excellent, just steps from both Lerici and San Terenzo.

18/07/2026: We missed our bus a few times due to the sweet nectar served here. Fantastico few hours here enjoying many rum and cola. Great price, and strongest in Alghero. Highly recommend to anyone looking to actually drink in this place.
