20/01/2024: The pizza isn't that great, strangely thin and hard at the same time (luckily you have a serrated steak knife at your disposal which makes it easier). Since it is lightly seasoned, the prevailing flavor in the end is salty. I don't think I will return.

28/07/2024: I stayed at this hotel for one night and was satisfied with the overall experience. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the city's main attractions. The property is well maintained and the rooms are clean, spacious and equipped with all the necessary comforts. The staff was always kind and helpful, ready to respond to any need with a smile. In particular Marco, at the reception, was really kind and welcoming. The only small flaw concerns the breakfast. Although it was varied, with both sweet and savory options, I found that the quality of some products could be improved. Overall, I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The small flaws in the breakfast did not affect the quality of my stay in the slightest, and I would definitely return in the future.

26/07/2024: We enjoyed our stay very much in Hotel Villa Piras. The staff were friendly, still smiling that brought a good feeling and they're speaking English fluently. We don't speak Italian, but we'd tried a little and I'd say they really appreciated that. The hotel is quite old-fashioned, but not in a bad way. I think it completes the atmosphere of Alghero. The hotel is near the city centre, like 10-15 mins walking. The breakfast was delicious.

07/07/2024: I came back again this year because I like the square, I ate a better poke than last year and my friends say that the pizza is better, congratulations.

10/08/2024: Nice terrace with a great view, but unfortunately the quality of the food leaves something to be desired. The prices seem to reflect the view more than the value of the dishes, as many items on the menu are clearly frozen and the portions are quite small. Spending just for the view doesn't justify the overall experience, so I wouldn't recommend it. Furthermore, we had an unpleasant incident with a bee that repeatedly disturbed our dishes, ruining our appetite. Even though the staff were aware of the situation, no one offered to give a discount or handle the situation better. To make matters worse, the service is shift-based, so you're forced to eat quickly, with the waiters seeming more concerned with clearing tables quickly than making sure customers are satisfied.

09/08/2024: The place is well located and beautiful, especially if you get a place on the terrace. The food was good, although if you like to eat in quantity you might spend more than usual. My dish recommendation is the octopus, very good.

24/07/2024: We ordered two pizzas, upon delivery the pizza carrier barely greeted us, and didn't even thank us. Furthermore both pizzas were entirely burnt and the fries were raw. We didn't even finish them because they were inedible.

11/08/2024: The food is good and it is a unique place, frozen in time, the 1950s. Another Sardinia. Not to be missed.

26/08/2024: The bar is located in a good spot near the coast, very ventilated. The interior of the bar is very "dull", the walls are in poor condition, the toilets stink, the little soap available was watered down and the floor is very dirty. Each topping ended up making 90% of the coffees on the menu, the ice creams are only packaged with little assortment and of little-known brands. Ended up ordering a cappuccino which arrived full of milk and a few drops of coffee. One expects such a "famine" around closing time, not in the middle of the day.
