21/02/2026: One of the best restaurants I love returning to every time I'm in Alghero. The owner is a wonderful person, and the entire staff is fantastic: they make you feel special and warmly welcomed every single time. The sushi is always top-quality and delicious. What amazes me most is that, despite the years, they never miss a beat: the quality remains high and consistent, everything is as good as the first time. Truly well done! I always return with immense pleasure. An absolute guarantee!

05/08/2025: Le meilleur restaurant de notre séjour à ALGHERO, il est plus sympa de manger à l extérieur mais les places sont restreintes donc pensez à réserver. Le monsieur est un peu froid d’apparence mais au final plutôt sympa.

02/08/2025: Abbiamo cenato un sabato sera d’agosto. Ottimi tutti i piatti che abbiamo scelto, dalla cotoletta per la bambina al maialino per noi. Era tutto davvero buonissimo. In più: veloci, gentili, precisi.

23/02/2026: I dined at the Nautilus Restaurant and overall had a positive experience. The view of the harbor was beautiful, creating a pleasant atmosphere, and the service was excellent: the waiters were professional, kind, and attentive. We chose the tasting menu; all the dishes were carefully prepared, although the monkfish wasn't to our liking. Our only complaint: the wine prices seemed a bit overpriced compared to the menu. Overall, a recommended restaurant for its location and service.

04/01/2026: I visited on New Year's Day 2026. I didn't see any Japanese people, but the restaurant was bustling with locals and people returning to their resorts. This restaurant had a wide selection of pizzas and pastas. The squid ink pasta I ordered was delicious. The orange juice was also very fresh and tasty. The potatoes had a nice crunchy texture. The atmosphere was great and I enjoyed it.

30/12/2025: The place is pleasant, spacious, and bright, just steps from the port, with a view of Alghero in the background. Unfortunately, breakfast was disappointing: the cakes were too dry and tasteless, the service was slow, though always smiling, and if you ask for a glass of water (which is included elsewhere), they'll tell you, "You'll have to buy a bottle." Definitely not recommended! ⚠️

31/12/2025: New Year's Eve here. I don't think I'd find such a high-quality atmosphere, cleanliness, and food. Simplicity and courtesy, the best. After the fantastic pizzas, you can't pass up the amazing Catalan cream. Well done, well done, well done. Never change!

27/12/2025: Closing time is 11pm as indicated on the website and the time displayed, unfortunately it's the third time I've been there and it's 10pm..... the place opens punctually and they tell me they're closed.....good seriousness I'll go elsewhere.

01/02/2026: As was the case last year, the restaurant was rather quiet on this Sunday. At first, the staff seemed quite preoccupied with the "family table" (apparently the owners), which made us feel a bit neglected. However, the pizzas are quite good—the Buffalo, in particular, was delicious—and are baked in a wood-fired oven. It's precisely because of the good pizza that the restaurant earns just under 4 points from us. Less pleasant was the wait for dessert: we waited longer for the apple pie and cheesecake than for the main course. This reminded us that we had a similar problem last year—we even had to pay for dessert but couldn't eat it because it wasn't served on time due to an appointment. This time, the apple pie also seemed to have been served very cold, which detracted from the enjoyment. Overall, we've had significantly better desserts in Alghero. Conclusion: It's certainly worth going here for good wood-fired pizza—but there's definitely room for improvement in the service and desserts. ' ... Come this year, this year the local area was very popular in Dominica. All'initio il personale sembrava però molto occupato con il “tavolo di family” (probabilmente dei proprietari), per cui ci siamo sentiti un po’ trascurati. The pizza is so good: in the Buffalo part, it has convinto per il gusto, e il fatto che vengano cotte nel forno a legna è secured a punto a favore. Proprio grazie alla pizza il locale raggiunge per noi quasi 4 punti. Meno positiva è state l'attesa per i dolci: abbiamo aspettato più a lungo per la torta di mele e la cheesecake che per il piatto principale. This tornado in mente che another scorso avevamo avuto lo stesso problema — allora avevamo persino pagato il dolce senza poterlo mangiare perché non era arrivato tempo e avevamo un impegno. Questa volta la torta di mele sembrava inoltre essere stateta raffreddata eccessivamente in anticipo, il che ha un po’ rovinato il piacere. In Generale ad Alghero abbiamo già mangiato dessert decisamente migliori. Conclusion: for a good pizza cotta nel forno a legna si può tranquillamente venire qui — ma su servizio e dolci c’è ancora margine di miglioramento.

09/02/2026: At first glance, the café impresses with its beautiful location and stylish ambiance – even if some of the decor looks a bit dated and dusty. However, anyone hoping to eat will be disappointed: many of the dishes listed on the extensive menu (Caesar, salmon, or tuna salad, club sandwich, or bresaola with arugula and Grana Padano) are no longer available. Instead, there's only a ham and cheese toastie and three variations of tramezzini. I chose tramezzini with tomato, ham, Edam cheese, and mayonnaise, along with a small Ichnusa beer. The beer didn't seem fresh, the tramezzini came straight from the refrigerator – and it was missing the tomatoes. Taste-wise, it was disappointing. The cappuccino was okay, but only lukewarm and, at €2.00, overpriced compared to many better cafés in Alghero (€1.50). The "Crème Amarena" cake was decent, but nothing special. Conclusion: The strength of this establishment clearly lies in its location and decor – culinarily, it falls far short of the many truly excellent bars and cafés in the city. It's neither a restaurant nor a proper dining room, as some reviews suggest. Therefore, only three stars 🌟 🌟 🌟! PS: Even the price of €3.50 for a 0.25-liter beer is high – at least that's what it's listed on the menu. However, what's truly unacceptable is that the cappuccino, already overpriced at €2.00 on the menu, was suddenly charged at €2.50 on the bill. This is not only outrageous but simply misleading – especially since you can get a cappuccino for €1.50 in significantly better establishments in Alghero. Another cheek is the €1.00 "table service" charge on the bill. It's not about the one euro – but if something like this is charged, it should be clearly stated on the menu. Then guests would at least have the option of picking up their order themselves at the bar. Even better would be to switch to self-service altogether. For these reasons, I am ultimately revising my rating to ⭐️ (1 star). The bar impresses at first glance with its beautiful location and pleasant atmosphere – although the furnishings appear somewhat dated and dusty. Alternatively, Vengono offers a toast of prosciutto and formaggio and three tips of tramezzini. Ho scelto a tramezzino with pomodoro, prosciutto, Edam e maionese, accompagnato da una piccola birra Ichnusa. The birra is not sembrava fresca e il tramezzino è arriveto direct dal frigorifero – inoltre mancavano i pomodori. Il gusto purtroppo deludente. The cappuccino was accettabile, only at 2.00 €, but also rispetto at a small bar in Alghero, which offered a small coffee at 1.50 €. The “crema amarene” cake is discreet and special. Conclusion: the point of force of the locale is the determination of the position and the arrest. 14/01/2026: A classic-style bar that has retained its character over the years without ever giving in to modernity. The indoor dining room is fabulous in the winter and the outdoor gazebo is perfect for summer.

29/09/2025: As soon as I picked up the cake, the decoration was wrong... during the reservation I requested a cake with fruit decoration and the word happy birthday... when I picked it up I found a cake with a pink background and little fruit... pink color that I absolutely did not request, they replied saying that pink was automatically given to girls and blue to boys...
