06/04/2024: We stopped for a quick bite, and instead waited 20 mins for a beer and glass of wine, and got bad smelling hamburger.
The table next to us, which was a local couple, ordered a second beer and almost finished it by the time we got our drinks. There were no other tables and no new customers since we came in.
We saw that they cooked the hamburger on the outside grill, but the meat smells so bad, that we had to return it.
It's a shame that such businesses exist. CLOSE or change your attitude towards tourists. Yes, we don't know Italian, but we just traveled 40 hours to get to your beautiful island....
06/04/2024: Bad food and rude service!!
Waited to get a beer and a glass of wine for 15 min and the place was not busy at all.
Ordered hamburger and tasted/smelled weird.
I wanted to return it and they charged me for it.
It's a shame that such bad places exist on this beatiful island.

28/08/2023: Located just outside of the old town but worth a short detour to try their gelato. We are not ice cream aficionados but we tried a number of different places in Alghero and we personally all thought La Golositas, established in 1999, tasted the most authentic, is reasonably priced and offers the best (with a smile!) service. So good we went make several times for more. No wonder its won a recent award for one of the best artisan ice cream makers on the island.

Ballarini Bar Focacceria Griglieria

04/11/2023: Il posto è un po’ caotico perché molto frequentato e di conseguenza il servizio per poter ordinare è un po’ lento. Tuttavia una volta ordinato la cucina/griglieria è veloce. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Non ci sono molti piatti tipici sardi, ma all’interno c’è un’ampia varietà di focacce. Si può mangiare sia all’interno sia all’esterno. È un locale facile da raggiungere ma non ha a disposizione molti parcheggi. Consiglio per una pausa dalla spiaggia
22/09/2023: Siamo andati a pranzo per una focaccia e a cena per la carne.
Non esiste un servizio per le focacce e bisogna fare la fila insieme ai clienti del bar. Le focacce sono asciutte e niente a che vedere con la focacceria sul lungomare di Alghero certamente più famosa. A cena la carne era buona ma la cottura sbagliata.
Esperienza pessima anche per l'approccio con i turisti. Un gran caos pagato profumatamente.
