The dishes were original, perfectly cooked (special mention for the red mullet), and the service was top-notch. They deserve a Michelin star!

03/11/2025: Yes, they work to order and are not an industrial or "normal" pastry shop. They're exceptional, period. They work on commission, like a tailor makes custom-made trousers. Want Zara trousers? Don't go there. They're for the most refined palates and for people who recognize quality, kindness, and reliability. Try the muffins, the zucchini fillets, the red velvet meatballs, the crostata, the panadas—wonderful. It's not cooking: it's pure art. Like Caravaggio: it's not for everyone. But for me, definitely! Fogo Alghero è uno di quei posti che ti colpiscono fin dal primo momento: un locale stupendo, curato nei minimi dettagli, capace di creare un’atmosfera calda, accogliente e unica nel suo genere. Il personale è estremamente gentile e disponibile, sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza con il sorriso, facendo sentire ogni cliente speciale. E poi il cibo… semplicemente straordinario! Dall’antipasto al dolce, ogni piatto è preparato con materie prime di altissima qualità e presentato con grande cura. I sapori sono autentici, intensi, e raccontano una vera passione per la cucina. Che si tratti di una cena romantica, di un pranzo tra amici o di una serata speciale, Fogo è la scelta perfetta. Tornerò sicuramente e lo consiglio a chiunque voglia vivere un momento di gusto e atmosfera ad Alghero!

30/10/2025: It was very good and plentiful. The advertised price range of 40-50 euros per person might be for a three-course meal (starter, main, dessert), but we paid much less. The service was also very attentive. Special mention for the pistachio fondant, which was wonderful! The risotto was delicious too!

10/10/2025: What can I say? Excellent. One of those places that's always intrigued me, but not close to my house. Had dinner with friends; luckily, there was a free table! Incredible pizza: crispy, flavorful, rich, with a meticulously prepared dough and an extraordinary selection. I also had a steak, cooked to order, with chips or vegetables included (I had chips). It was a lovely, tasty dish. Superb service, and they even offer smaller desserts for those who want to fill up. Yes, I'll be back!

02/10/2025: Today, for the first time, we got pizza from you. And I'd say they're VERY DELICIOUS. My contadina and Giovanni Antunna's... Congratulations. They arrived on time and hot. The guy was super nice. And the pizzas were truly excellent. I really recommend trying them. The pizza chef is excellent 😘

04/10/2025: I had dinner here my last night in the island and it was excellent. I have the feeling I wasted all the other nights in other touristic places. This place is very local, food typical from sardinia, very nicely cooked, perfect place.

02/10/2025: A very pretty location surrounded by greenery, excellent food, friendly waiters, explaining all the dishes, offering wine recommendations, etc. I would have given it 5 stars for the wonderful experience if it weren't for the fact that, once all the other tables had left, they turned off the music and some of the lights (we still had to finish our wine) when we were alone. I would have understood if it had been late, but it was 9:45 pm, and the waitress was kind enough to invite us to finish slowly. We didn't like this, especially since the set menu included coffee and a digestif, which we weren't asked for. We didn't ask because they were literally closing the restaurant and we didn't think it was appropriate.

31/10/2025: By chance, following the reviews, we ate at Gianluca's in Sassari today... An incredible discovery, combining tradition and expert craftsmanship in an incredible way, steeped in Sassari tradition... I tasted dishes I'd never eaten before, and original and effective creations. Not to be missed if you're passing through.

26/10/2025: A great place! A small restaurant in a quiet alleyway, with very welcoming and friendly staff! Very fast service, hearty hamburgers prepared with quality ingredients. A thoughtful touch from the owner at the end of the service, thank you very much!

26/10/2025: The burgers are generous and very good. Very reasonable prices. Very enjoyable jazz atmosphere. The only downside is the fries, which are well prepared but frozen (it's stated on the menu). But that's a small detail. A little extra, the very friendly owner kindly offered us coffee. I recommend it! 👍
