18/05/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We visited Purgatorio back in 2024 and chose this restaurant then and there. Small but perfectly formed! We weren't disappointed! In addition to the regular menu, you can also choose from three set menus with different courses and order either fish or meat. We opted for the fish menu – and it was outstanding!! That's why we were so keen to return. And this time, we weren't disappointed either! The menu was superbly composed: three beautifully presented appetizers, an excellent main course with fresh fish, and a wonderful tiramisu to finish. Everything was perfectly balanced in flavor and prepared with great care. We would especially like to highlight the quality of the ingredients, the pleasant atmosphere, and the friendly service. You can tell that the food is cooked with passion. For us, it's definitely one of those restaurants you'll want to return to when you're in Sardinia. A definite recommendation for all fish lovers!

It is felt in the air, in the silence, in the landscapes, and in the very soul of this corner of Sardinia that he chose to live, love, and find inspiration for some of his most beautiful songs. 03/06/2026: Returning home from a family vacation in the Aosta Valley, I took my time driving along the main road, passing through mountain villages before taking the return road. Once I reached MONFERRATO, I detoured a few kilometers and arrived in TERRUGGIA. A small village south of Monferrato, where I found MELOGRANO, a PET-FRIENDLY restaurant 🐶💚, serving classic local dishes as well as delicious vegetarian and vegan options... 😋 A warm, family-friendly atmosphere, with fast and punctual service. The entire staff is polite, kind, and very empathetic... which is rare these days... 😉 They'll even delight you with tastings, before and during your meal... 😊 So if you're passing through MONFERRATO... Il Melograno, in my opinion, is a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED stop... for those like me who have a 🐶 that isn't just ACCEPTED... but is WELCOME here... ☺️ To conclude, the PRICES are VERY FAIR for dishes made with excellent ingredients and attention to every detail... 👌🏻 So, BON APPETIT to everyone, and to me... until next time... 😌

30/12/2025: A delightful pizzeria in Tempio's town square. Simple and welcoming, the service is prompt. The "Il Pendolino" calzone is truly delicious, filled with mozzarella and gorgonzola and topped with generous amounts of prosciutto, arugula, shaved parmesan, and cherry tomatoes (and washed down with unfiltered Ichnusa). Reasonable prices.
