22/07/2025: We decided to have lunch at this restaurant, intrigued by the many positive reviews, and were truly impressed by the quality of the food and the owners' hospitality.
We decided to try the meat dishes (crispy pancetta with honey and walnuts, lorighittas with wild boar ghisadu, braised beef in Nebbiolo) and they were all very good.
The Malvasia we finished our lunch with was spectacular.
We'll be back!
18/07/2025: Etre reçu par le patron et la patronne, qui sont, de plus, des personnes adorables est une plus-value. La cuisine est sarde mais tous les plats sont originaux et exquis. Le patron connaît très bien les vins qui peuvent se marier avec les différents plats. Malgré le fait que le restaurant était quasi plein, les plats sont arrivés ensemble et sans trop attendre. Ils connaissent leur métier...

14/08/2025: Excellent place. We had two pasta dishes (carbonara and pesto with cream and ham) that were delicious. For the main course, we had meat and shrimp. We spent 45 euros. Excellent service from the owner, who welcomed us very kindly until after closing time. He offered us a digestive and brought us a choice. Excellent place.
11/08/2025: Chance (and Google reviews) led us to this trattoria, frequented by locals (we were the only tourists).
A very warm welcome, authentic traditional home cooking...for a more than reasonable price.
And the carbonara to die for!!

10/06/2025: Buonasera, é la nostra trattoria preferita e partiamo da Badesi, circa 40 km da Nuchis, ma né vale la pena ed a breve saremo ancora lá, gentilezza, qualitá e buon prezzo. Un vero piacere.

18/06/2025: A nice place to have a drink. You can sit either in front of the café or in the large square. Very friendly staff.
As is customary in Italy, you get a few free snacks (stuzzichini) with your beer, wine, or cocktails. There were an unusually large number here, and they were very tasty: olives, chips, small cheese baguettes, puff pastry with tomato, and crab balls. And they served all of this with the wine. Great!

30/07/2025: Un ristorante con piatti di assoluto livello qualitativo e Personale in sala che ha dimostrato,oltre una provata capacità, una particolare gentilezza.
Ci ritornerò sicuramente anche per il paese di Nuchis molto ordinato con una stupenda chiesa antica tutta in pietra.
29/07/2025: Abbiamo gustato una magnifica cena di pesce freschissimo, di alta qualità e cucinato alla perfezione. Tutto squisito: dalle cozze per antipasto, al pescato del giorno alla griglia (orata), alle verdure grigliate, vino, seada e mirto. Molto buone le quantità, ottima la qualità degli ingredienti, buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Una delle migliori esperienze, veramente da non perdere. Aggiungete che sia Tempio Pausania, che la adiacente frazione di Nuchis meritano una visita

19/07/2025: After a week in Sardinia, we've found everything we need to eat, and we finally found one that serves real local food at a reasonable price. The suckling pig was spectacular, and the tongue with tomato sauce was incredible. The "zuppa" wasn't what we expected (not everyone can like everything), but they have everything from snails to wild boar and horse steak. As I said, it's the restaurant you want to find on your vacation: good, traditional, and reasonably priced.

16/07/2025: Ormai è diventato il nostro ristorante di fiducia, personale professionale e molto disponibile,cucina ottima,antipasti squisiti, primi buonissimi, per non parlare dei secondi carne di prima scelta cotta stupendamente e che dire del porcetto buonissimo e croccantissimo, dolci della tradizione buoni.Ci siamo stati molte volte e sicuramente ci torneremo.Complimenti a Patrizia e a tutto lo staff.......a prestissimo.

It's so good that we came twice during our stay, and we will return! Friendly staff, a selection of Sardinian wines (the Herculis is +++), plus other drinks available

20/05/2025: We saw the reviews and decided to try it out. The 15-euro menu includes a starter, main course, and a side dish (in this case, salad and potatoes). Drinks and dessert are not included. The portions are more than generous. The dishes are very flavorful. I definitely recommend the sweet ravioli with tomato sauce! Everything is so flavorful, I will definitely come back!
25/04/2025: Highly recommended! Very generous portions and delicious. Excellent homemade cuisine, typical of the real inns of the past. With 30 euros we ate for two, 2 first courses, 2 second courses + beer and water on the side. Everything delicious.
