13/10/2025: Unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations: the two of us ordered two appetizers (octopus salad and Catalan-style shrimp) and a "superior" (?) fried fish. They assured us they used only fresh products, so I won't contradict them. I will say, however, that the taste, on the palate, was that of frozen products, and not even prime quality. Several dishes on the menu were unavailable. The atmosphere was surreal: Friday evening (October 3rd), 9 pm, with Carloforte full, we were the only two tables for the entire dinner. Important fact: €97 for two appetizers, a main course, a still wine, and two glasses of white wine. Something to reconsider...

10/01/2026: Last night we returned for dinner to this pizzeria where we'd eaten several times in the past. We've always returned for the quality of the food, despite the service that has often left much to be desired in terms of timing and staff courtesy. After yesterday's experience, however, I don't think we'll be returning. When we ordered, the place was almost empty, and yet the wait was inexplicably long. We ordered first courses, but only then were we informed that we could only order second courses and pizzas because the kitchen was closed. To our obvious perplexity, the waitress responded with a somewhat ungraceful response, "Didn't they tell you when you booked?" Of course not. At that point, we settled on pizza. The Regina pizza listed artichokes and bottarga as ingredients on the menu. We were asked whether we preferred fresh or pickled artichokes, and we chose the fresh ones, without any mention of a surcharge. The final order was: three Regina pizzas (one with pancetta instead of bottarga) and a Carbonara. When the pizzas arrived, the Carbonara was without egg. It was taken away for remaking and returned to the table only about 20 minutes later, causing obvious inconvenience. The real surprise, however, came when we received the bill: the Regina pizzas, which listed as €10.50 on the menu, were charged €12.50 and even €14.50. When asked for clarification, we were told that fresh artichokes were considered an add-on, and that the pancetta (bacon) instead of guanciale was an additional addition, since the basic version calls for artichokes in oil. It's a shame that the menu simply states "artichokes," with no distinction or indication of any additional costs. We note that we were not informed of these surcharges when we ordered. The waitress admitted we were right, but justified herself by saying she wasn't the one who took the order. An extremely disappointing experience: poor communication, lack of transparency, obvious errors, and downright terrible service.

01/03/2026: Good, rich, and flavorful takeout pizza. 8.5/10 Wood-fired oven. The menu offers a wide variety of pizzas, including some off-menu options. Prices are average for the area. Very fast service and friendly staff. A simple, clean place with a few options for dining. It's a shame they don't have a website or social media page with an updated menu. They also offer delivery.

20/01/2026: Excellent bar for breakfast and aperitifs, just steps from Carbonia's main square. Generous selection of typical Sardinian appetizers (salami, cheese, carasau bread, olives, chips, and more). I must say I'm completely disappointed with the staff, who were much more friendly and helpful than they were this summer. Elegant and clean. Highly recommended!

18/09/2025: Very slow service, unpleasant staff, maybe they have a problem with tourists. No dessert or coffee offered. For a city worth seeing, go elsewhere.

22/10/2025: We grabbed two slices of Margherita pizza to go. Nice and crispy and fresh from the old stone oven. €3 per slice is also fair. We'd love to come back and eat a whole pizza sometime.

11/10/2025: While strolling downtown, we stopped for pizza. We ordered a slice and some drinks, which initially had a price tag. Then, when we paid the bill, the price went up, and the cashier, perhaps the owner, pulled out the price list from under the counter, which should normally be displayed... and which, in my opinion, was the one applied to tourists (it doesn't match the one on the website)! Furthermore, the cashier got angry with her colleague who had charged us 2.50 for the previous drinks, speaking badly of her to us customers, which I don't think is right... I wouldn't go back; the pizza was tough and the sauce didn't taste good. It lingered in my stomach for hours.
