10/01/2024: Been there with my father to celebrate a birthday.
The place has been suggested to us by an acquaitance, and I'm grateful he did - everything was excellent. Even my father (very grumpy and hard to please) was extremely satisfied with the lunch! This is very rare.
We especially loved their homemade cream cheese, one of the best I've ever tasted. And the rest was also excellent. A special mention to the roasted piglet: perfect. Perfect cooking, perfect size, perfect juiciness. Due to how it's cooked, it's very rare to find a good one in restaurants - they're always subpar and mostly "just for the tourists", but this one was done with great care.
Oh, and the staff is very friendly, you could spend an afternoon just chatting with them!
Loved the lunch and we will surely come back.

01/04/2024: We had an Easter Monday lunch in two very nice places, with waiters always present and welcoming, a fixed menu based on fish, good raw materials, starters, first and second courses including drinks, around 65 euros per person, all in all money well spent.

01/10/2023: Overpriced and not exactly a great ambience. We had fish, which was of course very good, but before we had it on the table we were brought the wrong thing twice. I could have made a grilled one myself for €35!

Snelle en correcte bediening
Wij waren net fiets en konden onze fietsbatterijen opladen terwijl we zaten te eten erg vriendelijk om dit te kunnen doen terwijl wij heerlijk zaten te eten !!

18/11/2023: Every dish served at Mamma Fina was a delight. Unlike anything else I've tried on the island. The dishes are both creative and traditional – not to mention incredibly well made. The service was just as delightful: kind, passionate, and with care. Grazie mille! :)
12/10/2023: Next to the historic gastronomy, there is the bistro. Excellent cuisine and impeccable service. The prices are clearly not comparable with those charged by the delicatessen next door.

21/03/2024: A beautiful beach with a crystal clear sea to dive into.
Spectacular even at sunset.
A wooden walkway to get there.
Convenient parking available less than a hundred meters away.
The only flaw in the low season is the difficulty in finding a bar nearby.
Otherwise one of my favorites in the Calasetta area.

23/09/2023: Very pleasant place with external veranda overlooking the port. Two appetizers. Classic octopus (very good) and Caponadda with salted tuna (just a few cubes) and lots of tomato and dried bread. Two firsts. Trofie grouper (not much) and bottarga (not received), and a fregola alla marinara (excellent). Two glasses of Vermentino (?) and a dessert for two (exquisite ricotta ravioli)... Bill €88. Friendly staff. You cannot order rosé by the glass. Only white or red. Overall an average place.
17/09/2023: Abbiamo cenato nella terrazza panoramica che da sul porto, il locale è carino, il valore aggiunto è dato dallo staff, in modo particolare Gioia che ci ha servito, e dal cibo fresco e cucinato in modo eccellente. Abbiamo provato sautè di cozze e vongole e per secondo un pescato del giorno alla griglia, OTTIMI! Servizio impeccabile anche sulla scelta dei vini e prezzo assolutamente giusto.

Qui come altrove noto un numero elevato di prime e uniche recensioni e
spesso con voto "Pessimo".
Non metto in dubbio l'autenticità del giudizio, resta il dubbio sul fatto che tutti abbiano compreso il senso del "web collaborativo" ;-)

02/01/2024: It was the first time I went there and that we went there. It probably looked small from the outside, but for the evening we spent, it was above all expectations. I was struck by the furnishings and the layout of the walls, a touch of black and white with photos of some period films, made us seem to be an integral part of that now forgotten cinema. We also appreciated the menu (of the New Year's Eve). Dishes served with a certain elegance in the plating that highlighted those dishes. It was the fish that was the master. It is important that I spend a few lines for the staff. He made us feel like an integral part of the staff and their family, all of whom were really friendly and their welcome to the venue made us feel satisfied with our choice of evening.
02/01/2024: Era la prima volta che ci andavo e che ci andavamo. Probabilmente dall'esterno poteva sembrare piccolo , ma per la serata che abbiamo trascorso , era al di sopra di ogni aspettativa. Mi ha colpito l'arredamento e l'allestimento delle pareti, un tocco di bianco-nero con le foto di alcuni film d'epoca ci hanno fatto sembrare di essere parte integrante di quel cinema ormai dimenticato. Abbiamo apprezzato inoltre, il menu' ( del veglione). Piatti serviti con una certa eleganza nell'impiantamento che ne risaltavano quelle portate . Era il pesce a farne da padrone. E' importante che io spenda due righe per il personale. Ci ha fatto sentire parte integrante dello staff e della loro famiglia, tutti davvero molto cordiali e la loro accoglienza nel locale ci ha fatto sentire soddisfatti della scelta della serata.

26/08/2023: La grande gentilezza si nota sin dal momento dell'accoglienza nel locale semplice e ben curato. I piatti non sono banali e due primi (linguine con polpo e carbonara di mare) si sono rivelati eccellenti.
Due piccoli aspetti da sistemare per rendere l'esperienza perfetta: l'attesa è un po' troppo lunga, anche se preannunciata; se sul menù è scritto che uno dei tre pezzi di Fugassa è servito con ricotta di pecora, il commensale deve trovare ricotta di pecora. Apprezzatissima la sostituzione della ricotta con la mozzarella, ma il commensale dovrebbe essere informato prima.
Molto apprezzato anche il grande garbo del servizio.
Esperienza consigliatissima.
