06/10/2025: We wanted to watch the Bundesliga and eat a pizza, so we stopped here on a whim. A super relaxed, simple pizzeria and sports bar with incredibly delicious pizza and super friendly staff. They also offer takeaway pizza. Highly recommended!

08/03/2026: What a fabulous surprise. Beautiful interior with a nice decor. Staff were visibley happy and very attentive to any requests. We didn't have the pizza which looked amazing but 4 different plates that were all delicious. So definitely recommend the place for atmosphere and food

22/12/2025: During a motorcycle trip to Sardinia, we ended up in the city of Carbonia and thus at the Lu Hotel. We booked through the lovely Laura F. at the Euro Hotel in Nuoro, as nothing was available online. A phone call allowed us to book two beautiful, large rooms with a terrace on the top floor. They were definitely luxury rooms, not standard. The price reflected this. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the free, large underground parking garage was a real plus. It provided secure parking for our motorcycles. The breakfast offered a wide selection, and everything was always well-stocked. We didn't use the spa or the swimming pool. The "city center" is a 15-minute walk away. There isn't much to see or explore. It's important to know that Carbonia isn't one of the typical old Italian cities. It was built sometime in the 1930s. The name Carbonia comes from the coal and iron ore mining industry. I can recommend the Lu Hotel. Whether one should visit the city of Carbonia itself is another matter entirely.

07/12/2025: The hotel is in a town called Carbonia, 15 min from the sea. Rooms are good,hotel is modern and breakfast is great. The town it self is not very interesting.

17/10/2025: We ordered burgers and fries. They were delicious. The food came quickly. The price/performance ratio was good. The homemade ice cream is supposed to be delicious, but we didn't try it. We'd be happy to go back.

27/01/2026: A trusted bar for breakfast in Carbonia. The gluten-free selection is minimal (chocolate brownies), but better than any other bar in Carbonia. It's also a great place for aperitifs, with a wide selection on the wine list. The service is also excellent, and I've never had a bad experience. Nothing to complain about, I recommend it.

05/01/2026: I really like it...the staff is friendly and quick with orders. They have a wide selection of wines and grappas. When I'm in Carbonia, I often go for aperitivo.

04/03/2026: A welcoming and relaxing family atmosphere, abundant and high-quality food. After the fillet steak and fries, I ordered a pizza to try and enjoy... it was also good for breakfast the next day!! Just what I was looking for after a day at work. I'll be in the area tonight and will definitely stop by.
