02/03/2026: Located in a suburban area but easily accessible. While they don't take reservations, wait times are almost normal; obviously, it can get a bit crowded on Saturdays. What can I say? The staff is polite. Wide selection of pizzas, with new dough options. Normal wait times. Fair prices, good ingredients. On a negative note, the pizzas arrive cold and difficult to cut. I think the preparation times and table service need some rethinking. No good.

01/03/2026: Inexplicable. This isn't my first review, but every time I come back here or am asked what the best pizza is in Taranto and the surrounding area, I choose Uncle Giacomo. The highest quality and infinite kindness. You are the best.

07/03/2026: We went for lunch today to celebrate my nephew's 18th birthday and my daughter's 15th, as a family. There were 10 of us. The place was spotless and welcoming. It's one of the few places where you can sit comfortably without tables being crowded together. We had a great meal. The service was fast. The staff was helpful and efficient throughout. Thanks for a wonderful day!

They offer a wide selection of non-alcoholic cocktails and, above all, a desire to do their job and treat their customers well. They're excellent, we need this. Kindness, competence, and courtesy. 23/11/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant, and despite some positive expectations, the experience fell short. When ordering, we were advised to add appetizers because the kitchen would have a 40-minute wait for the entrees. I found this advice inappropriate, especially since I don't order appetizers simply because I don't feel like it. The three of us ordered three first courses, two second courses to share, a bottle of wine, a bottle of water, and three coffees. The quality of the dishes was good, but nothing that justified some shady choices. The most unpleasant thing was finding a bottle of water on the bill for €9. A completely unfair price, which I honestly consider exaggerated, not to mention downright robbery.

14/12/2025: This place is historic in Martina Franca, for its focaccia and the quality and quantity of ingredients... The well-crafted flavors are a sure thing for those who love stuffed focaccia. Unfortunately, Tony, the owner, is no longer with us... but the flavor of his products hasn't changed. There's definitely something to improve about the customer service... you have to take a number and wait a bit before being served... they could probably have someone at the cash register so the service could be quicker... the place isn't very big... but the kindness with which the owners continue their work is admirable! Thank you so much... you're a guarantee!!

Since I had a bit of an upset stomach, she gave me great advice on dishes that would help me feel better. Highly recommended. We received outstanding service from everyone.

06/01/2026: I went to this fantastic pizzeria from Basilicata for the first time yesterday, January 5th. What can I say? FANTASTIC IN EVERYTHING! I tried several pizzas and they were all delicious. One arrived and was delicious, and the next one even better. If they'd asked me which was the best, I'd have a hard time choosing. The dough was top-notch, and everything on the pizza was made with top-quality ingredients. The pizzas were meticulously prepared in terms of both quality and quantity. I've traveled all over Italy and I've never had pizzas this good, not even in Naples. Compliments to pizza chef Gianluca Stampa and the entire pizzeria staff. Staff: fast, attentive, and polite. 👏👏.

15/02/2026: I went to this restaurant last Sunday at the invitation of friends who had raved about the place and the food. The place was a bit difficult to find, but fortunately Google Maps can give you directions. From what I've gathered, the dishes are always the same ones I've enjoyed; they don't change over time, but I'm not a fan of such standardized cuisine, even though the dishes may be part of the regional tradition. Everything is good, of course, but if I were to return the following Sunday or during the week, would I be forced to eat the same orecchiette with braciola ragù and meatballs or with turnips, fava beans with chicory, or the same mixed grilled roast? Everything is well-made, but when we risk the future of customers who could transform from "passing or accidental customers" into regular or semi-regular customers, if I were the owner with the "capture power," I would work to increase the offerings, even assuming that certain things will remain the same or, perhaps not necessarily, that they might undergo some small gastronomic revolution. The recipes and accessories of pure regional culinary localism will remain, because they are the tradition to be passed on to those unfamiliar with tradition. Puglia, and especially the Itria Valley, offer so much in gastronomic excellence, so why not include something else on this restaurant's menu, given that the chef's skill is so excellent? This isn't meant as a criticism, but rather as a suggestion. A criticism, however, is due to the lack of desserts. Is it possible to serve only mostaccioli and rosolio for dessert? There are excellent pastry chefs in Martina Franca who can provide supplies. Unfortunately, the bill was also a bit disappointing, as was the lack of desserts. Too bad, because the prospects were tempting.

19/10/2025: The only minor complaint is the limited menu. Otherwise, there's nothing to complain about; it delivers on its promises.
