However the food was very average
A mixed fry with very rubbery squid, a tuna tataki whose consistency and texture are questionable (frozen??) The monkfish boconcini were overcooked...
It is true that the restaurant had some power cuts that day, did this impact the meal?
Anyway, I was disappointed with this restaurant.
Very poor quality/price.55€/pers
I hope it was just the wrong night.

19/05/2024: Sunday lunch today with family and a couple of friends. Immersed in the tranquility of the Salento countryside we discovered a farmhouse that combines the simplicity of its cuisine with traditional local culinary dishes. Good food and kind and helpful dining room staff enlivened our lunch while the owner in the kitchen tried his hand at preparing good dishes to be served to the diners. Pleasant atmosphere. Reservation is essential given the number of seats which is around 40 or so. Highly recommended for those who love the simplicity of places and the authenticity of the products used in the kitchen. I will definitely return.

13/07/2024: Pizza buona, anche se un po’ troppo cotta. Prezzi esagerati sia per le pizze che per i calzoni e altra rosticceria; in poco tempo sono aumentati di molto, pertanto il rapporto qualità/prezzo non è buono.. Poca gentilezza

19/08/2024: It was my first trip to Italy in 7 years, and while I was sad that I couldn't find a restaurant that suited my taste, the meal at this place was overwhelmingly excellent. Not only was the food full of seafood flavor, but the atmosphere of the restaurant and the service from the staff were all good.
I made the big mistake of misunderstanding the reservation date and visited on a different day after no-showing the day before, but luckily there was a free table so I was guided. I was also very grateful to the staff who willingly guided me through this entire process.
It was a restaurant I visited on purpose, and it was an experience well worth the effort and effort.
16/08/2024: Awesome place! Well-groomed, refined without falling into banality.
Friendly and non-intrusive staff. Delicious food - both the menu choices and the dishes with the catch of the day. Praise also goes to the different types of bread to accompany it, one better than the other.
(The only note is that the music volume is slightly high, but nothing unbearable).
Honest account and excellent value for money.
I hope to be able to return!

08/08/2024: I've been going to this pizzeria for 20 years, always good classic pizzas without pretensions, not those gourmet rubbish that they put in whatever sucks and make them pay their weight in gold, simplicity is authenticity and always the best winning card! Very welcoming place, even if mainly and only for takeaway, Owners very reserved in communicating with people, but that's fine with me, for me it's a pro, Unfortunately the prices have risen significantly like in all pizzerias after all! This is the only flaw, because certain prices for a pizza are not justifiable! But elsewhere it is much worse! So it's fine this way but also not! But they all deserve the 5 stars and even more if it were possible!

Burger was very tasty, as was the Cesar salad.
31/07/2024: Cute but nothing special except the prices, above average for the offer they have. Special pizzas and if you ask for a normal, simple spring, they don't know what you're talking about. Then explain it to him. Decent but not exceptional. Tasteless. There is better at normally affordable prices. Resize yourselves because you are nothing special.

19/08/2024: Posto accogliente dove fare colazione, pranzo e aperitivo., con amici o tutta la famiglia. Giovanni, il proprietario, persona a modo e gentilissimo, come tutto il personale ( Silvia ed Egidio, Aurora ed Arianna) che ti accolgono sempre con il sorriso ed estrema cortesia.
Ottime le Colazioni, assortite, dolci e salate, come pure i piatti che preparano per il pranzo. E che dire degli aperitivi , accompagnati da taglieri sempre di ottimi e di grande qualità .
Impossibile non andare al Caffè Cappuccini......Consigliatissimo!!!!!!!!

16/08/2024: Whenever I feel like eating a pizza I come here with my partner. The owner is always very kind, as are the waiters. What can I say...Really good pizza dough and large quantities of ingredients to fill you up, not like some pizzerias that give you paltry slices of ingredients. All adequate at the right price. I highly recommend.
04/03/2024: Pizzas with alternative and healthy doughs. Excellent and fresh ingredients. Very kind and welcoming staff. Fair prices. Salento restaurant with star vault and relaxing colours. In the summer you can eat outside in the large internal courtyard. The icing on the cake: it's 200 meters from my house, so I walk there 😁. Highly recommended

03/09/2024: The food doesn't even deserve a star, we had dinner on Sunday 1st September on the all fish menu with descriptions of the catch of the day, but in reality we had 2 first courses €32 Strozza Preti with seafood everything was there except the catch of the day , but poor quality frozen fish with invisible micro mussels and prawns, dish arrived lukewarm, as a second course peppered with mussels beautiful to look at, super large mussels with an unpleasant smell, 1 fried dish for €22 always squid and prawns always fresh caught of the day, soaked of now old yellow oil with an indescribable flavor on the plate there were pieces perhaps of the head of the invisible squid of the invisible octopus and prawns soaked in oil paid €80 but no kind service and environment given September very quiet paid a lot and ate nothing bad they offered me a bitter just to cleanse the very ugly mouth of unpleasant flavors.

Cibo squisito e ingredienti di ottima qualità.
Ci siamo fatti consigliare da Giampiero sia per i secondi sia per una bottiglia di vino rosato ed è stato impeccabile.
L’’antipasto della casa è spaziale e molto abbondante!!!
Abbiamo cenato all’esterno ed è veramente suggestivo.
Ci ritornerò senz’altro e lo consiglio senza ombra di dubbio.

Ristorante che si presenta molto carino con personale gentile.
Ultima sera di una vacanza, decido di andarci a mangiare con la mia fidanzata.
Nonostante le ottime aspettative che avevamo, ne siamo usciti molto delusi.
Il cestino del pane arrivato all’inizio della cena era pieno di formiche.
Dopo una segnalazione, ci è stato cambiato.
Durante la serata, inoltre, è arrivato un gatto sotto il tavolo (probabilmente del ristorante stesso), rimanendoci per tutta la sera e mettendoci per un momento anche le zampe sopra, di fianco al piatto in cui stavo mangiando.
Nonostante tutto questo, nessuno sconto.
Deludente rispetto alle aspettative.
Cibo non spettacolare.
Sconsigliato.
