While vacationing in Puglia with my boyfriend, we stopped in Otranto. While wandering its narrow streets, looking for a place to have lunch, we were drawn to this little takeout spot and decided to stop there. We absolutely had to try the orecchiette with turnip greens and the fava bean and chicory purée. While we waited for our dishes to be ready, my boyfriend suggested we also try the rustico leccese. It couldn't have been a better choice. Extremely light, rich in tomato, béchamel, and mozzarella. Truly excellent. Then our dishes arrived, and what can I say? Super generous and flavorful dishes. Unfortunately, I couldn't try the purée because I'm allergic to fava beans, but my boyfriend was thrilled. The orecchiette were also delicious; perhaps they just needed a little more cooking because some of them seemed undercooked. Despite the quantity, everything was light, as if I hadn't eaten at all; everything was truly delicious. If you find yourself in Otranto, I highly recommend this little place.

Delicious Pucce!!! Located in the historic center of Otrento, this restaurant is very pleasant. The waitress seated us at a table upon arrival. The Pucce were exquisite and the service was excellent. A very good place to eat!
