26/12/2024: Siamo clienti di questo locale giá da diverso tempo.Ed ogni volta che ci torniamo troviamo sempre la qualità ottima del prodotto e la sapienza con cui è lavorato e proposto.Fatevi consigliare dal titolare o dai suoi dipendenti tra l'altro gentilissimi perché sanno come poter esaltare quello che ti proporranno.Logicamente è un vero e puro ristorante di pesce.Se vuoi sentire il vero sapore del mare in un ambiente tipico nel cuore del centro storico di Gallipoli siete nel posto giusto.Lo consigliamo vivamente.

29/01/2025: La posizione è l'attrazione principale, perché si affaccia direttamente sulla spiaggia e la vista dai tavoli è notevole. Non male la cucina. Per esempio mi sono piaciuti (e consiglio) i tagliolini di pasta fresca impastati col prezzemolo e generosamente conditi con frutti di mare, crostacei e calamari. Il personale è gentilissimo e disponibile a qualsiasi richiesta.

30/09/2024: Very nice restaurant, sea view, two characteristic rooms, open-air side by the sea with the sand and the sound of the sea almost under your feet and indoors with elegance and right spaces. Courteous staff attentive to any request, kind and ready to fulfill your requests (the owners are always there too). It's my second time going and it has never disappointed my cravings with great food. Wide choice on the menu with top quality and above all fresh ingredients. You can eat mainly fish-based dishes but for those who are allergic like me, they can also enjoy tasty land dishes. Abundant with quantity. Clear bathrooms and possibilities for disabled people too. The only flaw is that on the side of the covered room there is no access for wheelchair users. Anyway they will do it as soon as possible. Recommended restaurant for all those who don't want to be fooled by tourist menus without flavors and more.....THE NEW PONTICELLO IS A REAL RESTAURANT.

20/02/2025: I've honestly never had such a bad meal at a Chinese restaurant. The photos are zoomed in to show the dishes well but the portions were really small, in Lecce after you go to a Chinese restaurant you don't even get the coffee here immediately afterwards we went to eat a potion of chips from the sandwich maker and the crêpes. But the quality of this restaurant is really poor. The very slow service, dishes arriving one at a time, at least the first courses arrived together so everyone could eat together and the same for the second courses! Try to work better and cook well otherwise you will lose all your customers.

18/01/2025: The place is nice, the views over the marina are great, the personnel is friendly BUT the food is ok, a little bit overrated and much pricey due to the location. The products are fresh but don’t expect the best quality in the food. There are a couple of dishes worthy of trying, such as the Gnocchi, but the Orecchiette is a disgrace. P.S. I'm gonna add something, based on the response of the passive-agressive owner: Of course, I have an excellent palate and I can recognize (and love) good wheat. I come from a country where the gastronomy is considered UNESCO World Heritage and tomatoes are originally from my country. So, no, the Orecchiette in your place were not properly done and there are tons of places around Puglia where I can recommend.

04/11/2024: Serata nella media, cibo nella media. Stavo per ordinare e poi mi viene detto che non c'erano i gamberi/gamberoni e tutto quello connesso (tartare, ect). Meglio saperlo prima. Cozze un po' piccoline ma saporite. Risotto agli scambi buono. Il pasticciotto, troppo grossa la frolla. Mi son lasciata tentare ma ne ho mangiati di migliori. Personale comunque molto gentile e preparato. Serata nella media.

01/01/2025: We were there for New Year's Eve dinner, terrible dinner, raw food, without flavor and poor quality. We stayed there overnight and also had lunch on the 1st and the food was always terrible We will never go there again I also attach a photo of the very raw cutlet

05/11/2024: Ci troviamo io e la mia ragazza in questa braceria poiché passati diverse volte questa estate volevamo provarla dato che io sono amante della carne. Ordiniamo una tartare di manzo con lime capperi e grana, una grigliata mista per 2 persone e verdure grigliate. La tartare seppur tagliata male e scelto un taglio di carne che non era per una tartare era buona perché la combinazione limone e grana era buona, ma il sapore della carne non si sentiva per niente. Arriviamo alla grigliata ( bombette, messicani, spiedini di pollo, salsiccia ecc.. ) carne secca, il pollo puzzava era andato a male, la carne era secchissima e di cattivo gusto, abbiamo lasciato l’intera grigliata perché disgustati. È arrivato il cameriere chiedendo tutto bene? E io ho detto la verità.. non hanno nemmeno chiesto scusa però hanno applicato uno sconto di 13€.. sicuramente non ci torneremo!

10/03/2025: Non devo che accordarmi alle recensioni precedenti, tengo a precisare che sono del luogo conosco i locali Martinucci da una vita e non si discute la qualità dei loro prodotti.Suggerisco solo a chi sceglie il personale di fare più attenzione: prendete pure ragazzi/e alla prima esperienza ma mettete accanto una persona che possa insegnare anche la gentilezza e la cortesia.Mandate via per la seconda volta dal vostro dipendente che lavora al piano di sopra del vostro locale su Corso Roma perché doveva resettare la sala ? Alle 18? Di domenica? O prendete qualcuno che lo aiuti oppure resettate lui.
