09/06/2025: tourist trap. at 9 in the morning there was no choice. a handful of empty croissants and ONE (of number) of apricot croissants. the choice of desserts was almost finished, maybe a couple of pasticciotti still, then there was a TERRIBLE choice of savoury dishes, such as dry and practically unseasoned pizzas. the prices displayed were not consistent with those reported on the receipt, written exactly the croissants, €1.50. on the receipt, €1.80. I imagine the same thing for the coffee shop, since the cappuccino, reported on the price list as €1.80, on the receipt was €2.30. cappuccinos made badly, coffee base, and up to this point ok, with hot milk THROWN IN, without foam. 3/3 (I say this as a former barista), would have been taken back. absolutely not recommended place, close to the historic center, they do not care about customers nor the reputation of the place.

06/04/2025: Locale ben curato e accogliente- personale gentilissimo e attento. Pranzo ottimo : carrellata di antipasti di mare molto varia e ricca, crudo di ottima qualità, i primi degni della fama dello chef, Maurizio Felice si conferma il numero uno in cucina, dovunque lui vada innovazione e gusto li ritrovi in ogni piatto suggerito. Complimenti allo chef Maurizio e a tutto il suo staff. Angolo Blu consigliatissimo.

30/01/2025: Se si vuole mangiare pesce fresco in qualsiasi periodo dell'anno, questo è il locale da scegliere. Cucina tipica ma con tocchi gourmet, servizio cordiale e prezzi accettabili

26/06/2025: Bar with a nice view of the Port, located in what looks like a covered market that needs renovation. Useful location for a stop before or after visiting the historic center of Gallipoli. Seating is plentiful.

23/06/2025: After a week of going around the restaurants and trattorias of Gallipoli and the surrounding area (we ate very well) we went to this place on a recommendation. We ate a seafood salad, it was the one from the supermarket with a scampi on top, the first course with seafood or something like that, the pasta was almost overcooked with a dressing that I don't know how to define. Bread and good Apulian oil. Not recommended place to avoid at all costs

02/07/2025: Very well organized establishment. Excellent value for money. Kind and always available staff. Excellent food. The restaurant guarantees high quality seafood dishes. The raw fish is a guarantee, as are the first courses and fried fish. Possibility of free parking in the shade in the reserved parking lot of the establishment.

29/06/2025: We called to book two umbrellas for 5 people and a dog (not Maltese) the answer was WE DO NOT ACCEPT DOGS, IT'S THE RULES!! The next day as if by magic I pass by and there are people with their dog! I call back and they tell me they didn't notice!! and so on for the whole week! APPARENTLY THE RULES ARE ONLY FOR SOME!!

29/06/2025: I had read the reviews and was very impressed, so we decided with friends to have an aperitif there (there is also just that to do). Kindness and politeness for sure, but the description of the land aperitif was not found in reality, and even the seafood aperitif was quite disappointing. Moral 40 euros per couple for not having an aperitif seems a bit too much to me

18/06/2025: Simple rule if it's empty there is a reason for it. It's just ok. Has a great view however.

12/07/2025: A sweet treat in Puglia at the Cannetto café during a visit to Gallipoli. The espresso was amazing – aromatic and perfectly brewed. The espresso with almond milk – a real hit! The Pasticciotto was a pleasant surprise – a delicate pastry filled with delicious cream. The very friendly service and pleasant, relaxed atmosphere made us want to stay longer. We definitely recommend this place for a midday break.

09/07/2025: AVOID. If you do go, INSPECT your bill. They have a habit of adding on drinks to your bill you didn’t have. If you are a tourist and you end up here ask for the bill after every round. They should be shut down. Shocking

13/06/2025: E’ un posto del cuore. Ci torno sempre quando sono in Salento. Freschissimo crudo di pesce, bella location, servizio impeccabile e ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Questa volta mi hanno fatto trovare anche le ostriche rosse!!!

01/05/2025: Sono stata oggi in questo ristorante.. location bellissima posizionata sul mare.. servizio abbastanza veloce , buoni gli antipasti e le linguine alle vongole.. buonissima la frittura.. carina la cameriera che si è emozionata con mia nonna ☺️ prezzo direi il giusto.. data la location e il cibo

03/07/2025: A first course of mussels and clams worthy of a master chef, perfectly cooked and risottoed pasta with that extra touch of grated lemon peel to give freshness to the dish. A mixed fry FINALLY fresh with octopus as it should be crispy. The boy at the table was prepared and polite. His parents, the owners, kind and friendly people. Really satisfying quality-price ratio

16/07/2025: Terrible experience: incessant wait, unwelcoming, unprofessional, and unpresentable staff, and a banal, somewhat touristy location. Despite the arduous request, due to food intolerances, and the authorized wait, the dishes were served after an unbearably long time. Please make improvements, as this is an insult to Italian and Gallipoli culinary culture.

12/07/2025: The service was good. However, the food was completely inedible. They're a pizza restaurant, but the pizza wasn't good at all. The dough wasn't fully cooked. And the meatballs didn't even taste like meat.

16/07/2025: Preso un aperitivo in una bella baia… locale sulla spiaggia… con prodotti scadenti.. aperitivo inesistente… servizio pessimo.. vanno chiamati con il megafono per farti servire

24/06/2025: Beautiful exterior, large, clean room. Big problem with the catering. Breakfasts not worthy of a 4-star hotel but pleasant staff overall. Except for the pizzeria manager (tall, dark-haired man with glasses) who is incompetent, unpleasant, and unprofessional. His place is at McDonald's.
