11/10/2025: The place is set in a giant trullo. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The food is good and plentiful, and good value. The only drawback was the lack of a POS terminal. We recommend paying in cash, or you can also use a bank transfer.

It was clear and offered something for every taste, including vegetarian dishes. Our highlight was the antipasti platter.

A special mention must go to Pastry Chef Giuseppe, whose desserts are nothing less than masterpieces. His creations are light yet decadent, imaginative yet deeply comforting — the perfect finale to an already remarkable meal. Cielo at La Sommità is a jewel of Puglia, and without question, worthy of a Michelin star.

01/11/2025: It's a place we frequent often. Both for lunch and dinner, the wait is never long, and the waiters are quick to take orders and serve. The dishes are plentiful and well-presented. The only downside, lately: In order to immediately leave the table for other customers, the waiters are sometimes very rushed. In my opinion, customers who come to sit down to enjoy the food should still have their own time and enjoy their dinner in peace. Thank you.

10/08/2025: Discovered this year, we haven't left. Free parking, fair prices, top-notch services, generous space between umbrellas, and a splendid sea, with two options for swimming: either from a sandy cove or from a ladder directly into the deeper water. Friendly staff, and a shout-out to Antonello, the lifeguard, who is always there to help with even the smallest mishaps.

16/11/2025: The restaurant is undoubtedly a unique location, with attentive service, but otherwise everything is decidedly touristy and doesn't showcase the quality of the local area. While the waiter was still taking our order, our appetizers were served, which only makes you think they were pre-made, like in a cheap canteen. The first course arrived, and believe me, I'll eat anything, but that first course was terrible: raw orecchiette, sour tomato, and everything tasteless. I don't understand where the hype about this place comes from; we were extremely disappointed, highly discouraged.

17/11/2025: We really loved the hotel’s location and overall look — the building is beautiful, and our room was clean and nicely designed. It has the charm you’d expect from a boutique hotel, and at first glance it truly felt like a great place to stay. However, we did face a few basic issues that affected our stay. Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi didn’t work in our room or even in the breakfast area, which was quite inconvenient. Bathroom/Shower: The shower was surprisingly small and disproportionate for the premium room rate we paid (see attached photo). Noise at Night: Most importantly, guests at the bar were making a lot of noise late into the night. Even after 10:45 pm, it was loud enough to be disturbing because there is no soundproofing on the second floor where we stayed. It’s a bit sad because this is genuinely a nice place with a lot of potential, but it needs more attention to these important details to match the boutique experience they aim to offer.

21/09/2025: A lovely place in the heart of Santa Caterina where, honestly, I ate one of the best pizzas in the area—truly excellent! Finally, a pizza where the flavor of the tomato and the dough stand out, with its excellent flavor and long leavening, making it very digestible. The burger with side dishes is also excellent. The only flaw I can't help but mention is the disorganized, completely disconnected wait staff; the tables don't have numbers, and the waiters are in a panic. The place is quite noisy due to the uncivilized customers; otherwise, you can sit on the main street or in the dining room. The place also has a bar for a drink or whatever you like. La Baritonessa.

02/11/2025: Nice place, but the space is cramped. The waiters are good and friendly, and the location is easy to get to. The food leaves a lot to be desired. Of everything we ate, only the capocollo and dairy platter was really good! The rest wasn't great...too expensive.

24/10/2025: My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance on the last evening of our tour of Puglia. But it was the best of the entire vacation. The traditional dishes are meticulously prepared and prepared with the finest ingredients, tasty, and generously portioned. The two waiters, Marco and Sara, were extremely kind, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and friendly in their recommendations. The service was quick and attentive. The restaurant is a blast from the past, with meticulous attention to detail and a genuine, old-world atmosphere, truly pleasant and welcoming. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, high-quality restaurant that's certainly not touristy.

22/09/2025: Enchanting place... we stayed in the trullo next to the farmhouse... a fantastic experience, everything was taken care of down to the smallest details... a super breakfast at the farmhouse... Antonella, the owner, is AMAZING. Thank you for everything!
