26/06/2025: Este es un pintoresco restaurante de gestión familiar en Ostuni en una cueva acogedora y única, como un entorno. El propietario y su esposa eran muy amables y nos hicieron muy buenas recomendaciones de comida y vino. La comida era sabrosa, y no nos sentimos apresurados en absoluto durante la cena. El propietario pasaría por aquí y charlaría con nosotros durante toda la noche. Experiencia muy divertida!
14/06/2025: El entorno es perfecto para la "ciudad blanca", Ostuni. Estás sentado y comiendo en una cueva. Tanto los propietarios de la esposa y el marido son amables y hacen excelentes sugerencias. Tuvimos el mejor vino recomendado por el propietario. Llevan el pescado a la mesa para que usted elija su comida. Perfección absoluta.

21/09/2025: A lovely place in the heart of Santa Caterina where, honestly, I ate one of the best pizzas in the area—truly excellent!
Finally, a pizza where the flavor of the tomato and the dough stand out, with its excellent flavor and long leavening, making it very digestible.
The burger with side dishes is also excellent.
The only flaw I can't help but mention is the disorganized, completely disconnected wait staff; the tables don't have numbers, and the waiters are in a panic.
The place is quite noisy due to the uncivilized customers; otherwise, you can sit on the main street or in the dining room.
The place also has a bar for a drink or whatever you like.

30/07/2025: Piacevolissima sorpresa trovare questo locale in un posto molto panoramico ed un’atmosfera che più napoletana non si può! Dalla calorosa accoglienza tipicamente partenopea al cibo molto buono (il Cuoppo di terra e il Capocollo di Martina e burrata) alla pizza “autenticamente” napoletana. Bravi.

20/01/2026: We had a wonderful evening here. The food was delicious, the atmosphere very pleasant, and everything felt well taken care of. A special mention goes to our waiter Damiano, he was incredibly friendly, attentive and truly made the evening even sweeter. We’ll definitely be back! 🍝

2. The coffee was bad, it was watery.
3. The waitress snorted at us when we asked, "So what do you have?" because the table was dirty and there was no menu.

14/03/2026: We visited just before the afternoon break (siesta) and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere is very pleasant and welcoming. The prices are quite reasonable for such quality. A lovely touch was the chef coming out to our table several times to personally ask if we enjoyed our meal. Highly recommended for an authentic local vibe!
08/12/2025: Typical Apulian cuisine, authentic flavors, and high-quality products. Excellent service from the owner, Angela, and extremely talented chef, her husband, Stefano. After a lovely stroll through the alleys of Ostuni, Lo Spessite is ideal for a meal that reflects the true essence of Puglia. Highly recommended.

19/08/2025: I went to this place with a couple of friends for our summer vacation. It was a delightful discovery. The service was excellent, courteous, and flawless. The food was simply fantastic, and perhaps that's an understatement. You feel like you're at grandma's house, from the appetizers to the main courses.
Nina is fantastic. If I ever pass through here, I'll definitely be back. I highly recommend them. They're excellent.

17/11/2025: The establishment is located in an old oil mill with an authentic interior. It's quite interesting, the food is decent, but the pomegranate sorbet was somewhat underwhelming, and the ice cream with six pomegranate seeds is an acquired taste. But we had a nice time, so it's definitely worth a visit.

02/01/2026: Wonderful atmosphere, in a unique location in the historic center of Ostuni, Gipas is an excellent lounge bar, where we spent an unforgettable evening! Amazing music, colorful cocktails and mussels, and incredibly friendly staff. Lovely! Thanks again!

31/10/2025: Leonardo is the best bartender, the staff here is Great beautiful location and grounds i am here every year. The food has fluctuated, the first couple times I ate here it was amazing the last time I was here to eat we did the tasting menu it was very disappointing. I imagine its hard to keep chefs when you are seasonal so they have probably gone through a few chefs. So I will give it another chance at some point, but in the meantime I will be there religiously for Leonardo and his amazing drinks and atmosphere!!
11/10/2025: American vibe with old town, comfort but American prices and tips expected. I was a little taken back when I paid the bill. I felt like it was definitely overpriced for the area and I typically only like to go to local Italian places. If you want the local Italian vibe do not go here. There are so many places in this area that you can go to dinner, but if you want the USA vibe drink cost, etc. this is not my idea of Italy.
