21/12/2025: Beautiful restaurant located on Via Canosa just outside Barletta, suitable for various ceremonies. Large parking lot with a guard at the entrance. Behind the restaurant are the rooms which are not very large but welcoming. I have already had 3 company dinners there, and we are 45 people and we were comfortable. The room also hosts a band, obviously upon reservation by companies or private individuals, I presume. Modern setting, impeccable service, very helpful and very kind, always with a smile. The food is excellent, very fresh seafood, even the desserts are very good. There is a swimming pool outside, I think the cake cutting will also be done on board. In short, everything is ok, super happy for the 3rd time.

28/02/2026: The gelato is good, certainly much better than many other competitors, both nearby and further afield. To truly assess the gelato's quality, I opt for the hazelnut and pistachio, as always. The flavors are quite distinct on the palate, but I think they could be improved. The location is near the train station, making parking difficult during peak hours. The interior is very simple.

13/04/2026: Saturday evening, after dinner at a trattoria near Via Nazareth in Barletta, it's customary to stroll along the main street; a glance at Ersclio, always majestic, on the left, but then we turn our gaze to the right and see the line at the ice cream shop "on the main street." We're tempted to try the first cone of the season, so we go in. After a short wait (to be honest), we go in and order two-flavor cones (each for €3.50), seven veils and Sicilian cassata: I'd say that, without taking anything away from the others, it's among the tastiest ever—8 on a scale of ten. Some might say, why not more than an 8? Well, because as a fan of artisanal ice cream, I've tried hundreds of ice cream shops everywhere, and I can assure you that for variety and flavor, there are places where I could have breakfast, lunch, and dinner based on ice cream. In any case, I'm a loyal customer of this establishment.

28/03/2026: We returned to Kaori after the change of management. The welcome was immediately pleasant, and the atmosphere suited the setting, with just the right amount of lighting that didn't tire us out throughout the entire dinner. We mostly love eating at the counter, and here we immediately met Thiago, a Brazilian-born chef with experience at various sushi restaurants, including Nobu Milano. Speaking with him, we immediately understood his passion for his work and his dedication to listening to his customers' needs. The right amount of dialogue and surprises the chef offers are crucial to the omasake experience, and in our case, we also share his love for citrusy, bolder flavors, unlike the current trend at most sushi restaurants, making the dishes extremely sweet with the magical soy sauce that covers everything. In short, the perfect blend of Oriental and local flavors that the Kaori staff manages to convey.

01/02/2026: It's a shame that the Kaorino cocktail bar isn't a standalone review (only the restaurant is listed here), because it deserves its own review. A very refined location, an intimate and private atmosphere, and well-crafted cocktails. The only thing I can't justify is the €3 cover charge per person: we dined at the bar, with no table service and not even water included. In other cities or abroad, similar service is accompanied by tangible elements (filtered water, welcome snacks, table setting). A pleasant experience, but this detail completely clashes with the quality of the concept.

The service needs improvement; they didn't bring the condiments with the grilled vegetables, which were, quite rightly, bland, so the customer could season them to taste. The location is very charming, and all in all, a great experience.
