09/06/2026: Petit Gateau isn't just a simple café/pastry shop, but something more that you won't find easily elsewhere. A welcoming, modern dining room with top-of-the-line products. A small disappointment: last week, we returned with my wife and children, but the same girl serving tables wasn't there. She was charming, cute, and, above all, smiling. We were disappointed by a new employee who, besides seeming angry when she showed up to take our order, didn't even say hello. 😔 A place of this caliber needs trained and qualified staff. It's true that you go to Petit Gateau for the high-quality products, but it's also true that the way you are welcomed makes a difference, considering that I travel about 25 km to come to Andria for breakfast, and the same distance to get back.

25/02/2026: Six of us sat down and after the blessing of the table and those present, a procession of 100% local delicacies took place: Burrata di Andria (PGI) with stracciatella made from stretched curd, parmigiana with ancient ragù, Sponsali (young and tender spring onions, elongated, with a white bulb, shredded and creamy), Seared beef fillets, Fried Bombette with seaweed and rosemary, Burnt wheat orecchiette with turnip tops and ... -last- (but first on our scale of appreciation)- bronze-drawn spaghettoni, square-section, cooked San Giuanniello style (100% Mediterranean, recipe not explained here, go there)! We couldn't order anything: young Antonio, the restaurant's key asset, brought everything, having chosen to stay here with us in the South (long applause). After lunch, he showed us the underground space beneath the restaurant: an incredible place, purchased and hand-dug by Antonio's father and family; meter after meter, it was an abandoned place filled with rubble and waste. A careful, flawless restoration; essential, understated; the result is an elegant, welcoming atmosphere; you feel part of the place's history. This is the Southern Italy we love. Greetings to Sergio, Domenico, Annibale (he takes notes but doesn't write, he delegates me now), Liberato, and Mario. WARNING: do not open the door at the back of Shoeshine's cellar: it leads to a hand-dug tunnel that leads to Canosa, and emerges (it is said) in front of the Cathedral of San Sabino, the arrival point of stage 14 of the Way of William.

05/02/2026: A quick business lunch, served even after 2 pm. Friendly staff, small but cute and pleasant place. We ate well, in good quantities, and at a fair price. A great deal!

09/05/2026: A truly welcoming and well-maintained café, ideal for a pleasant break at any time of day. The atmosphere is clean, tidy, and immediately conveys a sense of comfort. The staff is courteous, helpful, and always prompt in their service, qualities that are especially appreciated during busy periods. The coffee is excellent, carefully prepared, as are the products on the counter, always fresh and well-stocked. Prices are absolutely average, and the service is overall very satisfactory. A place definitely worth a visit.

04/05/2026: We went to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday, like every year. G2 is our favorite place. We had delicious seafood appetizers, including delicious and fresh seafood cavatelli for starters, and cavatelli alla carbonara, a very tender beef tagliata. The owners were also very kind and polite. I'm very satisfied, I recommend it.

28/02/2026: Excellent pizza, typical cuisine from our city of Andria, friendly and knowledgeable staff. If you want good pizza, you have to try Bastian Contrario!

30/12/2025: If you want to taste authentic Apulian cuisine, you must stop at this Osteria, where the owners will make you feel at home and will envelop you with the aromas and flavors of their land. The olive oil, bread, focaccia, and desserts, all homemade, and the traditional dishes, left us with unforgettable memories. Thank you for this break, and we'll be back soon!

17/11/2025: We had dinner with friends, and I think this is the perfect place if you want to enjoy excellent, well-cooked, top-quality meat. Vincenzo, the owner of the restaurant, is a truly delightful person. We trusted him, and he gave us excellent advice. The wine list is also extensive and of high quality. Highly recommended if you want to eat well at a fair price!

14/07/2026: Fantastic experience! We dined here and were impressed by the attention to detail. We ordered their signature dishes, and the quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. The staff was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. We'll definitely be back!

23/02/2026: A very nice place in the center of Andria, ideal for small groups (if you can, go without a reservation). Both the cocktails and the food (I had the pinsa) were excellent. Recommended.

09/01/2026: Delicious pizza, their gricia is SPECTACULAR, it's the second time in two weeks that I've come to Andria to eat it (I'm from Altamura), the prices are proportionate to the quality (top), the location is really beautiful and warm, the staff is really fast, kind and available for every request, their baked potatoes are EXCELLENT, the only advice I would feel like giving is to spice up the homemade mayonnaise a little more, I hope to return soon, for now it's the best pizza I've ever eaten 💙
