04/07/2025: The best bar in the area: Mojito! And a round of applause for Claudio! What can I say… every time I set foot in the Mojito Bar I feel at home, and much of the credit goes to Claudio, the kindest, most professional and funniest waiter there is! Claudio is not just a waiter: he is an artist of hospitality. Always with a smile on his face, he knows how to recommend the right drink at the right time, he treats you as if you were a special customer even if it is the first time you enter, and he has a speed and precision in the service that leaves you speechless. His presence really makes the difference: even when the place is full, Claudio manages to keep calm and make everyone feel pampered. Just one look and he has already understood what you want to order. A true champion! The Mojito bar is already a fantastic place for atmosphere, quality of cocktails and impeccable cleanliness, but with Claudio at the helm of the service… it becomes an experience. Sincere compliments, Claudio! You are the added value of this place. Keep up the good work!

08/11/2025: Right in from of the train station. We tried the local coffee Leccesse coffee which is ice coffee with almond syrup no milk. It was good!

25/10/2025: We had coffee and this place was great too. I can honestly recommend any small Italian cafe in the city. They are all clean, high quality and have a friendly atmosphere.

20/05/2026: Very disappointing experience. The staff was rude from the moment we arrived and made us feel completely unwelcome. We found hair in the food, and the clams were clearly not fresh and badly overcooked. When we tried to politely explain that we were unhappy with the meal and service, the staff refused to listen and dismissed our concerns entirely. Despite the poor treatment, we were still forced to pay a service fee, which felt unreasonable considering the way we were treated. The overall attitude of the staff made us feel like a burden, even to the point of dropping the menus in front of us without basic courtesy. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had.

17/05/2026: Good food, but very slow and evasive service that does not follow up with customers during dinner. One of the main courses did not come with the others. The waiter noticed it and said - "wait a minute". We waited thirty minutes for it to arrive😔 The service showed no understanding that it was poor service.

05/05/2026: I’m not sure where the negative reviews about the food quality come from. Everything was excellent and fresh. I ordered focaccia, mozzarella rolls, and salmon rolls, and they were all great. I also recommend the Aperol Spritz 🙂 The staff were very kind and friendly. I visited this place several times during my stay and would highly recommend it.

20/05/2026: Servers are indifferent and inattentive. Food was just ok. We got a glass of wine which might have been 3 ounces, at best . Clearly they know it's mainly tourists coming in and they're one and done so they don't really give a damn. I wouldn't recommend this place. My bad for not reading all the lousy recent reviews before going in.

12/12/2025: I've only had the opportunity to stop by this establishment a few times for short breaks between commitments. I can say that the experience has always been positive, both in terms of the quality of the table service and the quality of the food, as well as the atmosphere. Quiet, without too much noise to impede the hearing of those in front of you.

24/09/2025: When I asked an employee if we could still have lunch, given the late hour, she told me to go to hell!!! Is she even getting paid for this!!???

03/05/2026: Unacceptable: Ghost reservation and zero respect. A terrible experience and embarrassing management. We called this morning to reserve a table for lunch and received a confirmation. Once we arrived, we were told that due to a "communication error," there was no more room. I find it unacceptable that a restaurant in Polignano would behave like this: they literally left us stranded on the street with two small children, without even trying to resolve the inconvenience they had caused. If you confirm a reservation verbally a few hours in advance, you have to guarantee it. If you're looking for reliability and respect for the customer, stay away.

20/11/2025: A hidden gem, but worth a visit for the delicacies they prepare and the stunning location overlooking the sea. The owner, Mr. Onofrio, is very friendly, as is all his staff, but the best and most important thing is enjoying what he offers, such as the fish chops, which I've never had before but are exceptional, part of the appetizer, and the carefully prepared first courses, all made with fresh ingredients. I highly recommend it and suggest you let Mr. Onofrio help you choose what to order, as we did. Congratulations to everyone, and see you next time.

01/11/2025: Elegant and clean restaurant with a seafront terrace. We ordered Catalan-style shrimp appetizer, a trio of raw fish, spaghetti with clams and bottarga, and paccheri with scampi and stracciata. Dessert was a coffee treat, reasonably priced. The fish was incredibly fresh.

30/10/2025: The pistachio and chocolate ice creams are very good. The portions are generous.

27/12/2025: We had a wonderful three hour lunch at Il Grottone. The fresh seafood platter and the prawn tartare were superb. We ordered two type of seafood pasta, both amazing. Followed by a seabream with grilled vegetables. We couldn't stop eating, so we also ordered a grilled octopus. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!!

29/03/2026: I dined at this restaurant and was extremely satisfied. The pizza is undoubtedly the highlight: the dough is light and easy to digest, topped with top-quality ingredients that are clearly distinguishable from the first bite. You can sense a careful selection of ingredients, never banal and extremely fresh. The location immediately strikes you with its impeccable order and cleanliness, creating a welcoming and refined atmosphere. Special mention goes to the pizza chef: his ability to interact with customers made the difference; he was friendly, passionate, and eager to explain his culinary choices. The service was quick and efficient, managed by attentive but never intrusive staff. Finally, the quality-price ratio is excellent: rarely do you find such high quality at such fair prices.
