15/07/2026: Let me start by saying that every time I'm in Polignano, I stop by Massarì. Everything is always good, except that I spent €11.50 for a mortadella sandwich and a small bottle of water (definitely good, but maybe a little too much?)

09/07/2026: We found this place by chance and ate focaccia and orecchiette, which is famous in the region. Everything was fresh and delicious.

18/07/2026: After being treated terribly at several restaurants nearby, who refused to serve me because I was alone, I stumbled upon Panz Pan and it was the best surprise of the night! The focaccia was super warm and soft, everything was fresh! There aren't many places to sit, but outside you can sit on the steps and enjoy the food! I highly recommend it and will return whenever I'm in Polignano.

09/07/2026: Came here tonight to get some takeaway pizzas because we were too exhausted to go out for dinner. The place was busy when I got there and remained busy til I left with my goods. Ordered the Norcia and also a Capricciosa. Both by of them made with live and I drank a Peroni while I waited for them to be cooked. Can’t do that at Domino’s back home in Australia 😉🤣 If you want great value pizza that tastes delicious then this is the place to come to when you’re in this beautiful town 😁👍

12/07/2026: We had the best experience dining at Pizza e Fichi. Peter took care of us. He was amazing and kind-hearted. We had the best meal in Polignano: grilled steak, skewers and pizza. The steak was unforgetable - juicy and a perfect medium rare, the skewers was smokey and tender; pizza thin crust so crispy and fresh. We also had lemoncillo and wine plus tiramisu for dessert. We are so happy we went twice in a row for dinner. Thank you for the food and friendship.

16/07/2026: One big issue, really bad food. The worst we had I. Polignano a Mare. The fish of the day. $104 for a simple orata. People are nice , it not worth a visit.

15/07/2026: We initially wanted to go to another restaurant nearby but it had no free tables. Thank God we stumbled upon this absolute hidden gem! The seafood was incredibly fresh, you just try the scampi tartare. We had also lobster pasta, a lot of grilled seafood, a few bottles of incredible wine and some desserts. They played Leonard Cohen which added so much to the atmosphere. The service was really good despite the fact that the waiter didn't speak a lot of English. They also offer a free parking space and are dog friendly! A must visit, in my opinion, if you're looking for a chill non-touristy place with fresh seafood.

17/07/2026: A nice variety of pizzas, some unusual ones like the "Margherita sbagliato" (wrong margherita), excellent thin and well-cooked crust, as were all the ingredients of the other pizzas at the table.

29/03/2026: I dined at this restaurant and was extremely satisfied. The pizza is undoubtedly the highlight: the dough is light and easy to digest, topped with top-quality ingredients that are clearly distinguishable from the first bite. You can sense a careful selection of ingredients, never banal and extremely fresh. The location immediately strikes you with its impeccable order and cleanliness, creating a welcoming and refined atmosphere. Special mention goes to the pizza chef: his ability to interact with customers made the difference; he was friendly, passionate, and eager to explain his culinary choices. The service was quick and efficient, managed by attentive but never intrusive staff. Finally, the quality-price ratio is excellent: rarely do you find such high quality at such fair prices.

08/11/2025: Right in from of the train station. We tried the local coffee Leccesse coffee which is ice coffee with almond syrup no milk. It was good!

25/10/2025: We had coffee and this place was great too. I can honestly recommend any small Italian cafe in the city. They are all clean, high quality and have a friendly atmosphere.

20/05/2026: Very disappointing experience. The staff was rude from the moment we arrived and made us feel completely unwelcome. We found hair in the food, and the clams were clearly not fresh and badly overcooked. When we tried to politely explain that we were unhappy with the meal and service, the staff refused to listen and dismissed our concerns entirely. Despite the poor treatment, we were still forced to pay a service fee, which felt unreasonable considering the way we were treated. The overall attitude of the staff made us feel like a burden, even to the point of dropping the menus in front of us without basic courtesy. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had.

17/05/2026: Good food, but very slow and evasive service that does not follow up with customers during dinner. One of the main courses did not come with the others. The waiter noticed it and said - "wait a minute". We waited thirty minutes for it to arrive😔 The service showed no understanding that it was poor service.

03/05/2026: Unacceptable: Ghost reservation and zero respect. A terrible experience and embarrassing management. We called this morning to reserve a table for lunch and received a confirmation. Once we arrived, we were told that due to a "communication error," there was no more room. I find it unacceptable that a restaurant in Polignano would behave like this: they literally left us stranded on the street with two small children, without even trying to resolve the inconvenience they had caused. If you confirm a reservation verbally a few hours in advance, you have to guarantee it. If you're looking for reliability and respect for the customer, stay away.

11/04/2026: Excellent and inexpensive appetizer platter. Delicious crepe. Very good Aperol and passion fruit spritz. It's a shame to charge for cutlery with an aperitif.

20/05/2026: Servers are indifferent and inattentive. Food was just ok. We got a glass of wine which might have been 3 ounces, at best . Clearly they know it's mainly tourists coming in and they're one and done so they don't really give a damn. I wouldn't recommend this place. My bad for not reading all the lousy recent reviews before going in.

12/12/2025: I've only had the opportunity to stop by this establishment a few times for short breaks between commitments. I can say that the experience has always been positive, both in terms of the quality of the table service and the quality of the food, as well as the atmosphere. Quiet, without too much noise to impede the hearing of those in front of you.

24/09/2025: When I asked an employee if we could still have lunch, given the late hour, she told me to go to hell!!! Is she even getting paid for this!!???

11/06/2026: My husband and I stayed in San Vito for a few nights and had the pleasure of dining at La Colonna. This is the most beautiful place to dine overlooking San Vito Bay and the Abbey. We loved having a drink at sunset there every evening watching the fisherman. The service while friendly was a little chaotic but that made us love the place even more- it felt very Italian and somehow everything just worked. The food was good, not outstanding or memorable, but the hero of the place is the setting - so tranquil and peaceful - definitely worth a visit
