Bar "Il Trulletto"

29/12/2025: Mr. Cosmo, the owner of the Trulletto bar, is very hospitable and friendly.
The chili pepper coffee is very special, and the place offers many traditional products, and some of the owner's liqueurs are made there.
The place has a small terrace with a view of the trulli.
Highly recommended.
29/12/2025: Unfortunately, this was one of the worst shop experiences we had in Alberobello.
The shop owner was incredibly rude and unwelcoming from the moment we stepped inside. There is a strict no photos rule, which in itself wouldn’t be an issue — except that the products sold here are the same ceramics you can find in countless other shops throughout town. This place isn't unique in the slightest. To make matters worse, some of the items weren’t even made in Italy, but in China, which might be why they don't allow photos so people don't find out about the poorly made products.
I took a single photo of an item and was immediately spoken to in a condescending tone, being told, “Maybe if you weren’t on your phone you would have seen the sign.” The sign, for the record, is handwritten and poorly placed, almost as if it’s designed to be missed so staff can reprimand customers afterward and try to kick them out.
This shop perfectly represents what’s wrong with tourism when visitors are treated as inconveniences instead of welcomed guests. We were fully prepared to spend money, but the hostility made us leave immediately. For the record, the product we were going to buy from this location were purchased at another location for less that what this place was charging
I strongly recommend stopping at literally any other store in Alberobello. Most shop owners here are friendly, proud of their products, and happy to welcome visitors without yelling at them.
If I could give this place zero stars, I would!

We booked this hotel (if you can call it that) for the Immaculate Conception long weekend, from December 5th to 7th, 2025!
We spoke to the hotel owner (or so it seems) by phone and WhatsApp to book. He provided us with all the details for the stay and asked for a deposit of half the amount, or €190.
We arrived at the hotel on December 5th. HOTEL CLOSED! The owner of the bar next door told us the hotel had gone bankrupt! We called the police, who already knew about everything, as it had already been reported by other guests. All this with a 1-year-old baby on board! They're scammers. Thieves. Be careful. Don't book. They'll scam you.

Friendly staff.
I'll start by saying that I would have preferred a coffee if I'd known the drink would be so poor in both quantity and taste.
€7.50 for a short glass, perhaps half the price of a real spritz, even if you dare call it a "spritz."
I understand it's a tourist spot, I understand the prices, but at least do it right.
Pomegranate spritz: I thought it would be well-made, but in the end, it's just a bit of juice with prosecco that you couldn't even taste.
A real joke and a waste of money.
Not recommended.

18/03/2026: We visited the café while waiting for the bus, as it is located right next to the bus station. We originally came just to inquire about the connection, but due to the extreme cold we decided to have a coffee and a croissant here.
Unfortunately, we were unpleasantly surprised by the prices, which were approximately double those of other cafés in the area. Moreover, there was no price list available anywhere, so we had no idea in advance how much we would pay.
The overall impression was also worsened by the unpleasant service, which did not seem very helpful.
Overall, the visit was not pleasant for us and we would not visit this café again.
15/03/2026: Terrible experience at this place. The attendant was extremely rude and grumpy, acting like he's doing you a favor by selling you overpriced coffee. He's practically grabbing your arm and throwing you out to tell you he doesn't want customers there.

23/04/2025: Vergognoso, il pranzo oltre ai prezzi esagerati è stato qualcosa di immangiabile, indescrivibile, mi sono vergognato con i miei ospiti arrivati dall estero. Questi locali sono un danno per la nostra economia. Si approfittano dei turisti, perché sono di passaggio. Le autorità dovrebbero prendere dei provvedimenti.

Entriamo x chiedere da bere e ci dice la signora alla cassa in modo freddo e acido : NIENTE BIRRE XKE ABBIAMO GIÀ LAVATO TUTTO,POTETE BERE SOLO COCKTAIL , SIAMO IN CHIUSURA(FUORI XO I TURISTI STAVANO CENANDO)... cosa strana xké dico ma che cambia dalla birra o uno spritz ? Anzi la birra potrebbe essere consumata in bottiglia,il cocktail no. Il cameriere che ci ha servito le bevande nn avendoci visto che eravamo dietro di lui inizia a dire : MA DOVE STANNO QUESTI OH ,cn tono nn piacevole ... Mi spiace ma nel commercio bisogna essere solari , disponibili e gentili,in periodi poveri di turisti bisogna fare cassetto cn i clienti che ci sn , ma nn a spese di questi ultimi ,xké io se mi tratti a pizza in faccia da te nn ci torno più . The lady who served us was incredibly kind and explained their focaccia doughs well, which always include a portion of whole wheat or semolina.
The best focaccia I've eaten in Puglia.
Unfortunately, we were only in the area for a few days, but if we return, this bakery will be our first choice!
