20/07/2025: A bakery just outside Alberobello.
The lady who served us was incredibly kind and explained their focaccia doughs well, which always include a portion of whole wheat or semolina.
The best focaccia I've eaten in Puglia.
Unfortunately, we were only in the area for a few days, but if we return, this bakery will be our first choice!

07/10/2025: The setting and atmosphere are particularly charming. Professionally trained staff, even for unexpected events. A qualified sommelier is especially knowledgeable about selecting the perfect wine. Several gluten-free options are available for celiacs. Small pets are welcome.
05/10/2025: We booked half an hour before our arrival. The underground space is very beautiful and welcoming. We ate very well. Great experience!

22/07/2025: So glad we walked away from the busy tourist section and found this bakery. Definitely local pick up spot for focaccia and sweet chocolate sweets. We had some kind of ham & vegetable “pie” that was amazing. Entire tab for four people was eight euro.

During our visit to Alberobello, we discovered the Tagliente Bakery—a true local gem. We tried their grain focaccia, and it was simply delicious: soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, with an authentic taste and generous flavors. The staff was welcoming and friendly, and the place exudes artisanal tradition. A must-see for lovers of good bakery!

16/06/2025: Como líder de tours grupales, he experimentado muchos guías diferentes a lo largo de los años. No exagero cuando digo que Mimmo dio una de las mejores giras que he experimentado.
Traje un grupo de turistas estadounidenses a Alberobello — pensamos que conocíamos la historia de la ciudad y la región. Pero Mimmo nos cautivó desde el principio. Nos aferramos a cada palabra mientras él daba vida a la historia mientras nos guiaba a través de los trulli, más allá de las tiendas turísticas y en las tranquilas calles traseras de la ciudad.
Vale la pena señalar que Mimmo no solo lidera excursiones, sino que también ofrece alojamiento en trulli bellamente renovados y dirige un encantador bar de vinos justo en el centro de la ciudad.
El showtopper fue su recreación de un interior de trullo, restaurado para reflejar cómo una familia habría vivido allí siglos atrás. Su conocimiento era profundo, pero aún más impresionante era su capacidad para hacer girar un cuento que nos educara, involucrara y entretuviera a todos.
Simplemente increíble. ¡No te lo pierdas!
19/05/2025: Wir waren im Rahmen eines Ausfluges vor Ort und haben uns die Bar ausgesucht, um etwas zu trinken. Da die erste Runde lecker und unkompliziert war, haben wir noch eine zweite Runde getrunken und Focaccia gegessen …. Sehr lecker. Wir waren positiv überrascht und hatten eine schöne Zeit.

25/08/2025: Top agriturismo in Alberobello. We opted for the tasting menu as recommended by the waiter. A delightful summary of our holiday in Puglia.
Traditional dishes cooked with love and by expert hands.
Perfect and friendly staff. Competent and knowledgeable about what they were offering and serving.
Km 0 products.
Difficult to find fault.
If we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back.
18/08/2025: The warm welcome and family atmosphere immediately made us feel at home. The food was excellent, with traditional dishes prepared with fresh, home-grown ingredients. Excellent value for money. We highly recommend this agriturismo.

Warm pastry filled with ricotta and pistachio cream. Good choice of sweet and savory pastries. Lovely cappuccino to go with your cake. Not too expensive. Cappuccino and a cake 3.80!
05/10/2025: It is not possible in 2025 to enter a bar, and after drinking, ask to go to the bathroom, in a tourist place and be told that they don't have a bathroom... shameful!!!

Mare Nostro Pescheria-Trattoria

26/09/2025: A beautiful, quiet place for dinner. Varied menu. We had two appetizers and two first courses, both delicious.
I especially enjoyed the tuna tartare, fresh and light. It was accompanied by two glasses of white wine.
The staff was truly kind and attentive. Even though there was someone missing that evening, they served us right away.
When we return to Alberobello, we'll definitely stop by.

15/10/2025: The waiter brought us a coffee with normal milk when we specified soya. We are both extremely lactose intolerant. When we asked for a new coffee and sent it back they refused to remove it from the bill and said it wasn’t their fault. Terrible service.
14/10/2025: No toilet seat or toilet paper in the ladies or gents toilets.
No toilet seat unfortunately seems standard in most of restaurants in Puglia

07/10/2025: Excellent little restaurant right next to the church of Santi Medici. It's a lovely, traditional setting with a single room seating a maximum of fifty people. Prices are average, and the wait staff are always very kind and attentive (especially the head waiter).
We opted for the €35 tasting menu (which wasn't widely advertised), which was truly comprehensive, with a generous traditional appetizer, a choice of two first courses, and a slice of meat, plus water, service charge, and coffee.
The chef/owner was also very present, frequently checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly.
I disagree with the reviewer who claimed you couldn't split the bill with two credit cards; we did so without any problem. And the reviewers who mentioned insistence on offering dishes different from those chosen were not pressured, but rather made kind suggestions.
Final rating: 8/10
05/10/2025: We enjoyed a few dishes that were as good as home made. The polpette di Nonna tasted just like my grandmother's! Our server was very nice.

10/06/2025: J'avais demandé à l'IA le chat mistral un restaurant à Alberbello qui ne soit pas un attrape touriste, il m'a conseillé celui-ci ! Pas déçu, bon rapport qualité prix, et serveurs très gentils, il y avait même une serveuse qui parlait français ! Parfait !
