26/12/2025: Really nice place and very friendly staff. We shared a platter of cured meats between four of us (all delicious), then we moved on to the first course: the orecchiette with turnip tops were delicious! The dishes were really generous. Highly recommended.

I found this place and trusted the reviews as well as the photos, which were truly inviting.
A very quaint trattoria, friendly staff, and excellent food.
I would definitely return to try other dishes.
There are several specials of the day off the menu (I would perhaps suggest a digital menu with a dynamic QR code for the more tech-savvy).
Prices are absolutely average.
I recommend it.

30/06/2026: Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner as if we were part of the family. We were told that the menu wasn't à la carte and consisted of five starters made with seasonal vegetables grown in their organic garden, which we actually saw just outside the city. All the starters were divine, beautifully prepared, and perfectly seasoned. Then, there was a choice of five or six main courses. We ordered four different dishes and shared them to try several things. Every dish was excellent. I highly recommend it.
28/06/2026: A place truly worthy of five stars. The quality is evident, starting with the garden, which provides incredibly fresh and flavorful vegetables. Each dish showcases the ingredients with simplicity and care.
The staff is another great asset: friendly, welcoming, and always available, capable of making you feel at home without being intrusive.
The location is simply spectacular: well-maintained, surrounded by greenery, and perfect for enjoying a relaxing lunch or dinner. An experience absolutely worth experiencing. We'll definitely be back.

Restaurant Pizzeria Il Fragno

14/06/2026: I visited Fragno on June 2nd and had an overall positive experience. The restaurant features a small indoor dining room with a glass wall, while the outdoor area is definitely its strong point: a large area with well-spaced tables and a wooden gazebo that makes for a pleasant and relaxing stay.
The culinary offering is wide and varied, with a good selection of dishes to suit a variety of tastes. I particularly appreciated the attention paid to those with allergies: when ordering, the staff was helpful and attentive, offering alternatives and adjustments.
More than a restaurant, Fragno has the atmosphere of a well-kept farmhouse, just 5 minutes from Alberobello. There's also ample parking.
04/06/2026: This restaurant has an indoor dining area as well as a lovely outdoor space with a children's playground. The food is truly delicious; the grilled meat is tender and perfectly cooked, including the sliced steak. The pizza is excellent. Everything is well-served by friendly and helpful waiters. We will definitely be back.

You order at the display case, get a price sticker on the wrapping paper, and pay at the cashier. 🧾
There are tables inside, but I recommend the terrace seating in the square.
You can enjoy a beautiful view of Alberobello.
After having lunch, I went back around 6:30 PM to buy an extra panini for the next morning.
They were starting to close up shop, but they kindly made it for me.
The service was excellent.

09/10/2025: One of the best places for breakfast. We're on vacation with our three small children and found this place. The service was very friendly and quick. One lady even speaks German—a huge compliment! The food was exactly as described and truly delicious. The pancakes were outstanding, especially the one with yogurt and fruit. Not even that sweet, which we love. Thank you so much for the friendly service, the great Italian music, and the joy you radiate with your work. You can really feel that you run this café with love. I highly recommend coming here.

03/07/2026: This morning, I went to a nearby laundromat and asked the staff, "Where's a good place for breakfast?" I found a place that really does have delicious croissants.
Tomorrow, I'm leaving early, but since the place opens at 5:00 AM, I plan to buy breakfast there before boarding the bus.

17/12/2025: I worked in Alberobello for a while and came across it by chance: it was love at first sight! The welcoming and spotless environment, the staff always helpful and smiling, the excellent coffee, not to mention the desserts: sublime and authentic. It was, of course, my go-to bar for the entire time I worked there, and last night I enjoyed the best hot chocolate in Puglia, and I know what I'm talking about, since I drink it everywhere I go. In short, a super bar.
