29/12/2025: We happened upon this place by chance with a group of friends after a lovely tour of the trulli. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, Francesco, who, with great warmth and knowledge, recommended a good Primitivo wine (we ended up drinking three bottles). The appetizers (fritters, pickled vegetables, cheeses, salami, and capocollo from Martina Franca) were all excellent. So if you want to drink good wine in a nice place accompanied by delicious appetizers, Paco Wines is the place to go.

08/12/2025: We immediately felt at ease. Francesco welcomed us with professionalism, expertise, and friendliness. He was able to understand and fulfill our every wish, both in terms of wine and food. The quality of the ingredients and the variety of choices are excellent, so I can only highly recommend him. Thank you, Francesco! We'll be back soon and bring our other friends too!

09/11/2025: I adore this place. The owner (I think :) is very friendly and kind! Also the prises are very nice, especially for the food you get. We had some hot chocolate and coffee with pasticciotto (local dessert over there). And it was delicious!! I should admit, that it was quite late time in the evening, and it was a warm place to stay while we were waiting for the bus :) Definitely recommend!

21/10/2025: Well, let me summarize the story of how a carnivore was amazed by a vegetarian Italian restaurant. First, the impact of the kitchen being open to the tables. Then, being invited to participate in the preparation of the pasta I was about to eat, which Katia, my wife, immediately accepted. But no amount of guidance prepared me for the deliciousness of the starter: a paste of fresh tomatoes, almonds, and spices. It was served with homemade bread. I went to the kitchen to congratulate the chef. Finally, the main course: oricchiette (traditional Puglia pasta) with a cauliflower sauce and Italian-style croutons. Of course, everything was followed by tiramisu. So, once in Italy, after this magnificent meal, I did as the Italians do: I went to the hotel and obeyed my body's greatest desire: I slept.

21/10/2025: A great lunchtime experience at I Primi di Puglia. We were warmly welcomed on the terrace, but as it got busier, we noticed they lost their overview a bit. Fortunately, the food and drinks were served quickly and were delicious. This is the place to go for fresh pasta (they were made a la minute, which you can see inside). After our main courses, it took a while before we were helped back to dessert. But since we were on vacation, this wasn't a problem for us, and we were comfortable. Afterward, we enjoyed a delicious tiramisu (the only thing available at the time) and a delicious, spicy doppio.

23/10/2025: In the countryside, beautiful stone architecture, clean place, quality traditional Italian cuisine, good local products with flavor and simplicity. Both the specialties and the pizzas, everything is good. We ate very well. Go there, it's worth the detour.

15/12/2025: We found this place by chance on a very busy Sunday, but it was a real surprise! The burrata sandwich is excellent: fresh and flavorful burrata, a refreshing salad, top-quality cooked ham, and affordable prices. If you're craving a delicious sandwich, go there!

27/11/2025: The experience was quite disappointing. The egg in the starters was undercooked and topped with shavings of a truffle that had no smell or taste whatsoever. The first course... well, what can I say? A mixture of spinach with bland mashed potatoes and caramelized onions. The pappardelle was decent, but it lacked flavor. We didn't order a second course, and the service was poor. Excessively expensive for what we ate—a disgrace. This does not represent Italy.

10/11/2025: This is truly an extraordinary place. If you want to eat something in Alberobello, come here; look no further. Both the pasta and the meat are incredible. I also recommend the Polish accents – Italian oscypek cheese and tripe… yes, yes, yes.

02/02/2026: Recommended and it didn't disappoint. We had a cured meats appetizer and pizza, all very good. The menu is extensive, including the pizzas, and the availability of lactose-free mozzarella was a real plus. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, and the outdoor seating is lovely when the weather permits. Recommended.

01/02/2026: Good, authentic food, a wide selection of classic appetizers, but portions could be increased. Excellent service, with fast, helpful staff who are attentive to guests' needs. The winter location is decent, but it has some limitations for those with mobility issues due to a somewhat awkward staircase. Definitely worth repeating, though.
