13/08/2024: Abbiamo cenato due volte alla Contrada e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Oste gentile e generoso, piatti buoni e abbondanti. Abbiamo provato sia i primi al tartufo che con carne. Ottimi anche i secondi. Consigliato!

13/06/2024: Excellent pizza with soy flour. Classic pub with a choice of beers of various qualities. Clear and quite varied menu. I always recommend taking the Tavoliere, a mix of delicious appetizers and a good selection of local products. More than familiar environment, improved over time.

22/08/2024: Nauseating cutting board. As soon as it was placed on the table the flies arrived. And I was sick. If one day the nas were to arrive, don't be surprised. Friendly but improvised service.

05/08/2024: We had dinner outdoors in this very characteristic restaurant overlooking the lake, quite a varied menu. We got the fried crispy and not greasy, good. Then we got the pizzas, which we didn't like, rubbery dough and too acidic tomato which covered all the flavours. Finally, the tiramisu, the heavy cream didn't make you want to finish it. Normal prices, not really low. Friendly, helpful, kind and organized staff. Finally, a sore point, not the fault of the restaurateur, at 9.00 pm we had to run away due to the swarms of midges.

30/07/2024: Friendly staff, amazing pizza and alerol spritz 🤭 we were stuffed but also went in for a tiramisu: worth it!! Our dog was allowed in with us so important for other pet owners to know they are pet friendly :)

05/08/2024: Huge and super busy environment but the efficient staff don't make you wait too long to eat. Pizza the way I like it, thin and crunchy. Super friendly and efficient staff and very low prices, I don't think I've seen similar prices for at least twenty years

24/08/2024: Nel bellissimo tour turistico e gastronomico tra Umbria e Toscana il primo premio sicuramente al Perugino! L’unico locale dove siamo tornati con piacere… Proprietario e personale cordiali e gentili . Cibo squisito e porzioni abbondanti. Ci torneremo sicuramente. Consiglio!

20/08/2024: “Tourists are not welcome” Upon arrival the waiter took our order and our starters arrived quite quickly. The starters were very pleasant and all was well. Maybe 5 minutes after our starters arrived our pizzas arrived as-well. We were taken aback as most of us weren’t finished with our starters and we found this choice quite odd. During the whole of our stay the entire staff kept glancing at our table and made soft remarks while passing by. We were missing a pizza and when asked the waiters multiple times they had to check every single time. When the pizza did arrive most of us were finished with our foods. Not wanting to let the rudeness of the staff impact our dining experience I was optimistic about the food since our starters were great and the overall reviews of the restaurant were nothing but amazing. Our food came and I found it to be beyond tragic. I ordered the mortadella pizza and I was severely disappointed. My dough was overflowing with flour and so consuming every bite with it. The mortadella was bland and the pistachio taste was nowhere to be found. During our stay, we couldn’t help but notice a quite particular foul smell that would greatly strengthen when the wind blew upon it. When we finished eating we wanted to take our leftovers home and asked our waiter. In return we were handed a piece of aluminium foil and a plastic bag. This whole experience was truly a shame. I find it a personal tragedy that food was handled this way. Edit: Comments from the restaurant owner should state the more than obvious state of the restaurant. Pathetic

30/07/2024: It's a shame because you can see it wasn't the right evening, pici cacio e pepe with truffle, they were pici in white with grated cheese on top, the pici were well made anyway, the other diners liked the pizza

01/09/2024: If you need a weekend to recharge your batteries, this is the ideal place. Surrounded by the wonderful Umbrian hills, it offers spacious rooms furnished appropriately for the place, equipped with every comfort: hairdryer, fridge, etc. The restaurant is also good: with a wide choice of pizzas, first and second courses that pay homage to local products: truffles, pasta, meat and cold cuts. The desserts are also excellent. The staff is very kind and ready to satisfy every customer request with kindness and competence. In particular, our table was served by Matilde, attentive to detail and friendly. To return.

27/08/2024: We have already eaten at their place two or three times during this summer season, the staff is always very knowledgeable and can show you the right dishes and drinks for your tastes, they pay attention to detail, excellent service, I recommend it.

26/07/2024: I often go there for a coffee or a juice with friends. Spacious and bright room, with both internal and external rooms. Friendly staff.

23/07/2024: discreet food, tasteless coffee, the service is kind but when you ask the lady the taste of the croissant she puts it on your plate without even telling you what's inside or she tells you what's inside and gives it to you anyway even if you do not you want it.
