10/07/2026: The atmosphere is charming and tidy, enhanced by the large fireplace in the main room where the expert Julio cooks the meats. The service is excellent: we were welcomed immediately and seated, always prompt and attentive (the only small flaw: a few more smiles wouldn't hurt!).
Let's move on to the food: we started with an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses for two, which, unfortunately, didn't wow me; they were good, but they didn't strike me as artisanal. The real highlight, and the main reason we came, however, was the meat! We ordered a T-bone (Florentine steak) for two, weighing about a kilo: perfectly cooked rare, perfectly red in the center, incredibly tender and juicy on the palate. Truly excellent! We were pleasantly surprised. Congratulations!

10/06/2026: Very large terrace and menu! Excellent pizza. Very good service, reasonably priced by Swiss standards. Cool combination with the pub and the large beer selection. Highly recommended for a casual dinner – without a romantic atmosphere – even with children. Plenty of parking.

The food is truly amazing!
My wife and I had an excellent platter: pici with ricotta and guanciale pesto and a cheese and speck pizza.
Everything was delicious.

09/06/2026: After visiting Castiglion del Lago, we had lunch at this restaurant because of the excellent reviews. I can fully confirm them: the location is quiet and well-organized, the food is plentiful and delicious, especially the meat. The staff is kind and friendly. The quality/price ratio is fair. Recommended.
07/06/2026: I can highly recommend Braceria Baldelli! The rooms are magnificent, the restaurant is wonderful. Yo can easily explore Montepulciano to Montalcino in One day. Umbria Is beautiful.

Very nice! Next time we'll try their dishes; some of them looked very appetizing!

Good food and excellent drinks at a good price.
06/07/2026: The initial impression was a bit rude, but this gradually revealed itself to be a result of shyness, partly due to the young age of the staff.
Tradition and food are respected, very good.
I suggest stopping by and trying the fagiolina and the lake pasta dishes.

Davvero....speciale!
Impasto delizioso, ingredienti di qualità!
Servizio veloce, a volte lacunoso ( personale giovane ed impreparato).
Ma la qualità della pizza rende superfluo tutto il resto!
22/06/2025: Abbiamo mangiato molto bene in questa pizzeria! L’ambiente è accogliente e il servizio è stato impeccabile: i camerieri si sono dimostrati cordiali, disponibili e anche molto simpatici, contribuendo a rendere l’esperienza ancora più piacevole.
La pizza è stata una vera sorpresa: molto buona, con un impasto leggero e una farcitura delicata ma saporita, ben equilibrata nei gusti (ho preso la pizza Praga, giusto per essere precisi).
Sicuramente tornerò volentieri.
Consigliatissimo!

10/04/2026: We stayed for five nights over Easter at Palazzo Barbini, a historic residence in the heart of Castiglione del Lago, and the experience was truly enjoyable. The property is ancient and charming, full of character and atmosphere. It's important to note that this is an authentic historic residence, so you have to like that style: those looking for modern, standardized spaces might not fully appreciate its charm. The owner was very kind and helpful. We had a small issue with the heating, but it was resolved quickly and with great care, which we particularly appreciated.
Overall, a stay recommended for those who love historic sites, an old-world atmosphere, and a warm welcome.

29/03/2025: A due passi dal lago. Sono certo che dalla primavera sarà ancora più bello. Fritti per iniziare (mozzarelline, fiori di zucca e olive ascolane). Margherita e Laguna Blu. Il locale via via si riempie di gente del posto, ottimo segno. Locale vivace, ottimo per una pizza tra amici. Sabato sera, avevo prenotato).
