29/09/2025: The pizza isn't good and it's even burnt, and you even have to pay for the cutlery. Awful experience.

13/09/2025: Excellent pizzeria serving traditional and original pizzas. The focaccia is delicious in all its variations. Light dough. Prices are reasonable. Quality is more than good. The atmosphere is clean, but its proximity to a gas station is a letdown. Service is okay.

19/09/2025: I've had takeout meat twice. The first time was a success with the tagliata and scaloppine, both good and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the second time was very bad... €18 for a Chianina fillet, well, not expensive, you might say... The problem is that it was a tiny piece, weighing no more than 200 grams, so it's about €90 per kg. It was supposed to be cooked medium rare, but instead it was definitely overcooked and tough to eat. I don't know if I'll try a third time; maybe it was just a fluke gone wrong!

03/09/2025: it's pretty average. it's mostly a café rather than a pizzeria. i ate the margherita pizza and it was pretty average, nothing out of the ordinary. the service was basically non existent and the server wasn't polite or kind, he didn't even greet us when we were entering. the atmosphere was awful in my opinion, it was dirty and shabby. onltly upside is that it's wheelchair accessible.

18/09/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant. The place is very nice and welcoming, with young, very polite staff; unfortunately, I can't say the same for the dinner. We went in eager to try the crispy suckling pig, but we were very disappointed, as the €16 price didn't justify the size of the dish... two slices (actually two) of suckling pig, smaller than the palm of your hand. We left dissatisfied and can't recommend this restaurant.

06/09/2025: The food was very good, including the view of the lake. Points deducted for the service. Too few employees, who even looked away just to avoid having to serve. Old dishes were still lying around everywhere. When you finally got around to ordering, because you were able to move, things moved slowly but surely. Another point deducted for the bill. You didn't see it until after you paid, and it was incorrect, too. Too many drinks were charged. My impression was that the employee was somewhere between intentional and incompetent.

17/10/2025: A welcoming place with impeccable service. It feels like a typical Irish pub. A variety of beers are a must-try. The pizzas and fried foods are also delicious.

02/06/2025: Il personale è gentile ma il locale non è pulito.. La ASL dovrebbe farvi visita..l'antipasto della casa troppo caro per i prodotti che contiene.. Non ci tornerò e ovviamente non lo consiglio

22/10/2025: Mixed antipasto with cold cuts from supermarket trays, with rancid capocollo. Two pizzas: Neapolitan and smoked, edible with speck from the smoked supermarket trays. Unwelcoming atmosphere. 1 beer and water, I think tap water. €40. Too much.

17/10/2025: Not what you would expect from an italian establishment. Server messed up my order. Came for pizza but they don't serve it for lunch, even if it's not specified anywhere. A bit expensive for what they offer. I will not return.

04/10/2025: We ordered a takeaway from here because my mother was unable to navigate the steeps steps and slopes of Spoleto, so we were very relieved to find a place that did both gluten free and deliveries! We enjoyed the GF tortelloni, the entrecote with chips, and GF pinsa (which to me was like a cross between a pizza and a foccacia - either way, it was delicious). Impressed with the delivery person having to bring the food to us on foot.

17/04/2025: Ho passato due mesi a Foligno ed è un peccato aver trovato solo gli ultimi tre giorni i Dei Franceschi...le luci rendono l'ambiente rilassante...la Padrona di casa Cinzia e, la mamma, ottime cuoche e persone squisite...le portate e la Pinsa buonissime!!!...Quando tornerò a Foligno sarà un posto fisso per la cena...Assolutamente da provare...ah...più di una volta!!!!

21/10/2025: I'll never set foot in there again. Carbonara was bland, neither good nor bad. The second course was shameful: the menu said Umbrian porchetta with salad. Well, they brought us a slice of porchetta with a few salad leaves that were definitely out of a supermarket bag: 18 euros. Two first courses, a second course, two bottles of water (not even coffees) 58 euros.

12/10/2025: We stopped for lunch after visiting Orvieto... we ate really well... a rich platter accompanied by bruschetta and local olive oil... followed by homemade pasta with mushrooms and truffles and spaghetti alla carbona... excellent! The desserts were also very good, tiramisu and panna cotto, all accompanied by a red wine from the Sediana winery... I recommend it.

The lady is very nice and welcoming, i guess it is a familt place They have a variety of pizzas pasta and local desserts We ordered the proscuitta and another one with trufffles and we had a small simple salad It is veryyy very delicious and the pizza dough is very unique Very fair price . Recommended when in Cascia And they have a nice outdoor seating on the street

19/09/2025: This summer, during my vacation, I had the opportunity to dine several times with my family at Il Gatto e la Volpe. The reasonable prices compared to local restaurants, the quality, and the generous portions make this restaurant/pizzeria my go-to place for future visits to Spoleto. I highly recommend it.

25/08/2025: I didn't rate the ambiance because we ordered takeout, but the manager and the waiters were incredibly kind: they even offered us a glass of prosecco and a slice of focaccia while we waited. The pizza, the one with salmon and truffle, was truly excellent; the tiramisu was fantastic, the fried food light and flavorful, and even the focaccia with prosciutto, eaten the next day, was still delicious.
