05/04/2024: Had a great meal on Friday with fish dishes recommended by a fantastic, competent and very kind Elisabetta who gracefully accompanied us until the end of the dinner with the stratospheric desserts. Super recommended but there would be no need because it is a very well-known place.

02/04/2024: We ate on Easter Monday in this place in the center of Perugia, a parallel street on Corso Vannucci, excellent food, excellent quality and, as far as the price is concerned, surprising for being in the centre; 4 starters, 5 first courses, 2 desserts, 2 bitters, 4 coffee drinks and cover charge 113 euros. Judge for yourself😉. To be taken into consideration for those visiting Perugia. Oh I forgot the staff were very kind and quick. Thank you.

01/04/2024: Stayed here at Easter. Really nice place, intimate and welcoming with pleasant music in the background. Excellent value for money, delicious food and generous portions. Fast and courteous service.

05/04/2024: Typical trattoria, pleasant clean environment, I think renovated not many years ago. Vast offer of dishes, on Fridays there is a menu dedicated to fish dishes. We ate veal steak and lamb steak, very good. The pan-fried chicory is also good. The strawberries were a little too astringent, probably seasoned at the moment and not fully ripe, the coffee was excellent. Recommended to go.

25/03/2024: We came here to have a wide choice according to our dietary needs. My friend was able to choose between various gluten free dishes with ease and this is not to be taken for granted. The staff is approachable and the environment welcoming. The food was really excellent but we didn't taste the desserts to be able to give a complete judgement. As starters we chose a trio of tartare, red cabbage pie with brie fondue and summer truffle, cheese platter... everything perfect! As main courses, a gluten free pizza with non-homemade dough, grilled chop and mixed salad, sliced ​​chicken with rocket, cherry tomatoes and parmesan, stuffed pasta. Very satisfied.

01/04/2024: We arrived on Easter Sunday, even though the restaurant was full they found a solution for our lunch. They also offer a vegan alternative for both breakfast and lunch/dinner and I must say that we ate very well. The hotel is clean and welcoming with a nice peaceful atmosphere. We felt at home. Advised!!!

09/03/2024: Premetto che la pizza e i gusti (per la pizza) sono assolutamente soggettivi, quindi non sindacalizzo sul modus operandi di come viene proposta, il tipo di impasto, etc etc.. Voglio solo esprimere un mio parere assolutamente personale!!! Ho trovato un discreto impasto, ma molta pesantezza nel condimento , troppo pomodoro e una coltre esagerata di mozzarella che appesantiva il tutto, anche il condimento ( farcitura) mi ha lasciato perplesso....il prosciutto crudo era salatissimo, mentre i funghi porcini erano immangiabili...ho trovato veramente (e mi spiace dirlo) una materia prima di bassissimo livello.. Purtroppo non mi ha entusiasmato nemmeno la location, mi ha dato più l'idea di un circolo dove si gioca a carte che di una pizzeria, troppa luce, non c'è atmosfera, ed anche il locale va un pochetto riempito e arredato meglio...è troppo spoglio.. P.S. cambiate quegli appendi abiti con le palline colorate presi dai cinesi..... sono inguardabili!!

01/04/2024: Easter Monday, eight people, rainy day, we relied on Grano & Sale for lunch, we had a super lunch, we started with a perfect giant platter for 4, then moved on to the first courses with Manfricoli alla Narnese, always perfect and finally Sliced ​​beef I confirm as perfect, in these eight people there was also a person with celiac disease, he was very satisfied. Thanks and if we pass through those parts again we are guaranteed to be there, keep it up. Good evening.

05/04/2024: very atmospheric place, very nice staff. We received our order 5 minutes after placing it. very tasty pizza, at a ridiculous price (6€ for a margerita) + draft wine 7€ for 1/2 liter. I highly recommend it 😊

02/01/2024: Caffè Turreno is located in the historic centre of Perugia, a few dozen metres from the cathedral. This café-restaurant was part of the historic Turreno cinema-theatre, dating back to 1871, which was closed in 2010, but is due to reopen in 2025 thanks to an innovative project that will make it a multipurpose cultural centre. In the café-restaurant, recently reopened under new management, we had a quick lunch on the first day of 2024. We had "pinsa Cantabrico", a focaccia with burrata, courgette flowers, Cantabrian anchovies, a "Paleta iberica di Patanegra 80g e torta al testo" (Torta al Testo is an ancient Umbrian focaccia mixed and cooked on a cast iron plate, then filled with the best of the local butcher’s pork products), a dish of pasta with anchovies and a "Satellite" an out-of-menu dessert (wheels of meringue layered with whipped cream and chocolate), a bottle of water and a glass of Beaujolais Nouveau for a total bill of €59.20. All tasted very good and the service was excellent.

21/01/2024: Personale molto accogliente, molto buona la cucina tipica Ternana che presentano, carne alla brace divina, a sorpresa una zuppa inglese che mi ha ricordato molto quella di mia nonna.

09/01/2024: Attratta dalle recensioni e da amici che già erano stati in questa osteria/pizzeria diverse volte, siamo stati il 26 settembre a cena in 3 persone. Pregustando quello che mi immaginavo sarebbe stata un ottima cena ed una buona pizza, invece ... delusione... Il ristorante è squallido, rimasto secondo me ai tempi in cui è nato, locale freddo. Tempi di attesa lunghi. Prezzi non proprio abbordabili per essere una osteria/trattoria/pizzeria.... Menù nella media dei ristoranti di basso livello. Abbiamo preso mezzo antipasto, la carne (avvogliati dalle recensioni della carne buona) porzione giusta ma dura assolutamente si faceva fatica a masticare e tagliare, contorni nella media. Poi il dolce. Secondo me si è voluti passare da una cucina tradizionale e buona da “tavola calda/pizza al taglio” ad una più ricercata senza ottenere il risultato. Inoltre quando abbiamo detto alla cameriera della carne non ha battuto ciglio come se tutto fosse normale. Non ci farei le corse per ritornarci e a quei prezzi si trova di meglio.
