22/07/2026: A nice pizzeria, which was quite busy at the time, so the staff were very busy. But everything was fine.

29/06/2026: A welcoming and well-kept place, a friendly owner, and a very good risotto with tomato, buffalo mozzarella, and basil pesto; in my opinion, the price of the Milanese cutlet with potato salad is a bit too high.

13/12/2025: Overall, we were very satisfied. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and the food was top-notch. However, what really bothered us was that our towels smelled absolutely musty. We'd been misled by them, and they were immediately musty. It was truly awful. I'm not usually sensitive to smells, but that was completely unacceptable. It wouldn't have been worth mentioning if the smell had been gone after we exchanged the towels.

12/11/2025: The Tenne Lodge has a great location right next to the gondola, making it ideal for skiers. From the outside, the hotel is very attractive and blends well into the natural surroundings. The rooms are very spacious and furnished in an alpine style. The cleanliness throughout the hotel is excellent. However, many minor issues unfortunately contribute to a negative impression of the hotel, especially considering it's a 5-star establishment. The welcome was not only very cold but rather dismissive, and we didn't feel particularly welcome. We were aware of the 2:00 PM check-in time, but being greeted with the phrase "Check-in is from 2:00 PM" is completely unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. There was no inquiry about our well-being, our arrival, or anything similar, and when we had questions about a day's activities, we were referred to an app. Despite the hotel being quite empty, we weren't allowed into our room until 2:00 PM. (We arrived at 12:50 PM.) This is rather petty and reinforced our initial negative impression. We were not escorted to our room or given a brief introduction to the hotel. We received a slip of paper with information, but the reality was quite different. According to the posted notice, the whirlpool was supposed to be open until 7:00 PM, but it had already been drained by 6:00 PM. The entire hotel's design felt somewhat dated. Textured wallpaper, very cheap outdoor chairs, and truly awful loungers on the balconies are not what you'd expect from a 5-star hotel. The pool area is very spacious, but the loungers are crammed together, giving it the feel of a neglected spa. From the pool, you can practically see the hairdresser at work. Nobody needs that. The sauna area is very spacious, but again, nothing special compared to other hotels. The transition between the sauna and pool areas is somewhat makeshift and requires a key. Incidentally, they still use "real" keys here, not keycards. Generally, many things seem poorly thought out and rather impersonal. For example, in a hotel of this price range, I don't expect teapot tea or teacups with the Teekanne logo on them. The gym is small but quite well-equipped, but the exercise mats were so worn and filthy that I decided against working out. Breakfast was good, and the à la carte dishes were of excellent quality. The 13-course dinner was outstanding. Incredibly high quality, beautifully presented, and perfectly seasoned. However, the table manners could be improved, as could the service. Placemats at breakfast? Awful! The staff needs more intensive training. They rarely asked how the food was, and used plates were often simply left untouched. Laurin, on the other hand, is an incredibly attentive and wonderful employee. It's unbelievable that a hotel in 2025 still doesn't have high-speed internet. At times, we couldn't even use Google or Instagram, let alone Zoom (we had to work). I also find the "open" duvet cover problematic. It's convenient for the staff, but simply unhygienic for the guests. There are some fantastic hotels in South Tyrol (Schgaguler, Milla Montis), but the Tenne Lodge is unfortunately not one of them.

24/07/2026: Restaurant review: Main courses were mediocre in taste – portion sizes could be improved – pizza wasn't particularly good either… Desserts were a complete disaster – from the crème brûlée (curdled) to the tiramisu (made with cream – any home cook could do better) – to the mousse au chocolat (far too firm, simply not a mousse). The service, however, was friendly! P.S. The best thing was the Willy…

21/07/2026: We were only guests at the outdoor restaurant. The food was good – the pizza was the best. Not typical South Tyrolean food, with a few exceptions; lots of pizza, but it was delicious. 😁 The waitstaff were very friendly, at least the male waitstaff. One woman there was very hectic, loud, and agitated, and she was berating the staff in front of other guests… so that wasn't so great. I know that they want to please everyone and things have to move quickly, but that made the evening rather unpleasant.

18/08/2026: Simple and delicious! Unassuming from the outside and simply furnished inside. The service is warm and attentive, and the food is homemade, delicious, and varied. The daily specials menu is a must-see. For us, the best pizza and pasta we've had in Bolzano. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates traditional and rustic cuisine.

31/07/2026: The tasty pizza! The place is clean (I love that the chef removes gloves when working with money). Fast and tasty, but a diabola can be hotter. Highly recommend.

26/08/2026: We booked with the specific request that someone with celiac disease be present, and they assured us they were well-organized. Needless to say, this wasn't the case. Half the dishes on the menu weren't available, the chef repeatedly refused to cook for the celiac, and when they did bring the entrecote, it was a very salty and unpresentable steak. There wasn't even a hint of a side dish because they didn't want to serve it. Terrible service and food. Not recommended; spend your money elsewhere.

07/08/2026: Tiziana is always Tiziana. Excellent food and fair, almost modest prices. Beautiful terrace and friendly service. I would eat there every day.

12/08/2026: Fast friendly service. The pizza was delicious but the pizza dough itself was not crispy. More like wrinkled.

22/09/2025: Very nice accommodation with great hosts, very friendly and helpful. The room was modern and very clean. The bathroom was also top-notch and very clean. The pizza was excellent, and overall, the pizzeria with the millstones had a very nice atmosphere. Why only 4 stars? Because we always needed a car to get to our planned vacation destinations. But if you want to explore the nature park, this is an excellent place to stay. We would still be happy to come back, just with different destinations :-)

29/07/2026: Good pizza, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The only downside is the prices, which I found a bit high. For this reason, I'm giving it 3 stars; without the price factor, it would definitely have been a 4-star review.

14/06/2026: I have to say that the pizza isn't bad, actually good. The prices are very high, but Bolzano has gone crazy with pizza these days... the only negative is the owner, the daughter of the historic manager, who should be kinder and less reserved. She acts a bit like a princess, but I remember when she first arrived in Bolzano... it wasn't all roses and flowers, now it's different, but you can remain courteous even with your pockets full... a smile is all you need for friendliness, in short. It's not difficult... anyway, all good overall, well done.

26/07/2026: For €6 you get a doner kebab delivered to your door; these days, they usually arrive in the Klausen area within 20-30 minutes. The burgers aren't great, but the doner is good. There are better pizzas, and there are also some not-so-good ones. They're always friendly, though. That's definitely not lacking.

27/09/2025: We stumbled upon this place yesterday and it was a pleasant surprise. The dumplings in broth were delicious, and the goulash was excellent. We returned today, and the pork shank with sauerkraut was excellent and very filling.

20/06/2026: The presentation of the place is good. The problem is that they don't know how to make fish. We ordered mussels, which unfortunately weren't cleaned properly, pasta with calamari, and baby octopus, which weren't cleaned properly either. Luckily, the flavor was all good. The calzone we ordered was basically a pizza folded in half, but it was good, and the fries were among the best I've ever had. Unfortunately, we ordered tiramisu, the worst I've ever had. There was no mascarpone, just cream/cheese (impossible to tell since it tasted horrible), and the biscuit was watered down. At 7.50 each, I would never give them that price. In the end, we paid for 6 covers for 5 people.
