22/12/2025: We weren't impressed with the quality of the pizzas; yes, they are very large... the service was average and the atmosphere was okay. Unfortunately, there's no parking due to space limitations.

13/12/2025: Overall, we were very satisfied. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and the food was top-notch. However, what really bothered us was that our towels smelled absolutely musty. We'd been misled by them, and they were immediately musty. It was truly awful. I'm not usually sensitive to smells, but that was completely unacceptable. It wouldn't have been worth mentioning if the smell had been gone after we exchanged the towels.

12/11/2025: The Tenne Lodge has a great location right next to the gondola, making it ideal for skiers. From the outside, the hotel is very attractive and blends well into the natural surroundings. The rooms are very spacious and furnished in an alpine style. The cleanliness throughout the hotel is excellent. However, many minor issues unfortunately contribute to a negative impression of the hotel, especially considering it's a 5-star establishment. The welcome was not only very cold but rather dismissive, and we didn't feel particularly welcome. We were aware of the 2:00 PM check-in time, but being greeted with the phrase "Check-in is from 2:00 PM" is completely unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. There was no inquiry about our well-being, our arrival, or anything similar, and when we had questions about a day's activities, we were referred to an app. Despite the hotel being quite empty, we weren't allowed into our room until 2:00 PM. (We arrived at 12:50 PM.) This is rather petty and reinforced our initial negative impression. We were not escorted to our room or given a brief introduction to the hotel. We received a slip of paper with information, but the reality was quite different. According to the posted notice, the whirlpool was supposed to be open until 7:00 PM, but it had already been drained by 6:00 PM. The entire hotel's design felt somewhat dated. Textured wallpaper, very cheap outdoor chairs, and truly awful loungers on the balconies are not what you'd expect from a 5-star hotel. The pool area is very spacious, but the loungers are crammed together, giving it the feel of a neglected spa. From the pool, you can practically see the hairdresser at work. Nobody needs that. The sauna area is very spacious, but again, nothing special compared to other hotels. The transition between the sauna and pool areas is somewhat makeshift and requires a key. Incidentally, they still use "real" keys here, not keycards. Generally, many things seem poorly thought out and rather impersonal. For example, in a hotel of this price range, I don't expect teapot tea or teacups with the Teekanne logo on them. The gym is small but quite well-equipped, but the exercise mats were so worn and filthy that I decided against working out. Breakfast was good, and the à la carte dishes were of excellent quality. The 13-course dinner was outstanding. Incredibly high quality, beautifully presented, and perfectly seasoned. However, the table manners could be improved, as could the service. Placemats at breakfast? Awful! The staff needs more intensive training. They rarely asked how the food was, and used plates were often simply left untouched. Laurin, on the other hand, is an incredibly attentive and wonderful employee. It's unbelievable that a hotel in 2025 still doesn't have high-speed internet. At times, we couldn't even use Google or Instagram, let alone Zoom (we had to work). I also find the "open" duvet cover problematic. It's convenient for the staff, but simply unhygienic for the guests. There are some fantastic hotels in South Tyrol (Schgaguler, Milla Montis), but the Tenne Lodge is unfortunately not one of them.

31/10/2025: Only pizza during the winter months, but it's fantastic. Topped with excellent ingredients and baked to perfection. All this in a rustic, cozy atmosphere at fair prices. We'll definitely be back whenever we're in the area.

29/10/2025: Thought I would enjoy the food because there were quite a few good reviews, but I could only order pizza, which I didn't really like because the base was so soft that I couldn't even eat a slice properly, unfortunately. 28-10-2025

28/12/2025: We stopped by for an afternoon merenda and enjoyed dessert with coffee. The staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming. I ordered the mousse alle castagne, which was really good and perfectly suited for a cozy afternoon treat. The atmosphere can get a bit noisy, but it didn’t take away from the experience. We still enjoyed our time there.

17/09/2025: Absolutely recommendable!! Outstanding pizza, a huge selection, and very fresh ingredients, with no expense spared. We were very satisfied. The lady was also very friendly.

06/09/2025: Quite inconsistent. The pizza by the slice is sometimes good, sometimes not (especially in terms of digestibility). The wait times for home delivery are often very long. This inconsistency has led us to look elsewhere.

11/02/2026: The place is okay, but without the wow factor. The food is decent, the service is friendly, but overall, it doesn't encourage a return visit.

18/01/2026: Beautiful and warm decoration, great vibes everyone is welcomed and especially families. Waitresses are all friendly and helpful, food gets served quickly even during busy hours.

10/01/2026: The food was excellent. We were served by a truly nice young man, friendly, helpful, polite, and "clean"—we might say impeccable. A small mistake from the kitchen; the apology and the fact that they didn't charge for the dish were much appreciated. I can't say if they've changed management or if the wait staff has made such a big difference compared to years ago, but in any case, it's become a place that has pleasantly surprised me.

05/01/2026: I ordered a one-meter pizza online. I thought I'd cut a meter of pizza into portions, but this one was 76 cm long and the box didn't exceed 85 cm. The dough was a little too chewy for my taste.

04/03/2026: Really great pizzeria, the ravioli was ok. Not a bad walk from the nearby village. We had to book as our group was large but they handled splitting the bill well.

12/02/2026: Unfortunately, I can't give more than two stars. I'm sorry. I struggle with leaving negative reviews. But honestly, there's a level of quality missing here that's taken for granted in any restaurant these days... or even in any bar, trattoria, or inn. I think the owners are trying hard, but perhaps pizza isn't a tradition in their hometown. Nor is Alpine food. I don't know how they manage to keep running costs low with so few people (rightfully so) on a Saturday night. I was misled by many incomprehensible, very positive reviews. What a shame.

20/11/2025: For over six years, for a good pizza or an excellent kebab, we've been coming to Babilonia Pizza and Kebab. On average, once a week, we take advantage of the pizzeria's home delivery service, and our order always arrives hot and tasty, as if fresh from the oven. We believe the pizza is the best on the market, made with meticulous attention to quality ingredients. Besides its flavor, the dough has the advantage of remaining soft and firm even after it cools. The kebab is always fresh and flavorful, never dry or woody. Our friends and family, after trying both at our place, have become Babilonia customers themselves.
