31/07/2024: Finalmente dopo qualche anno è tornato il vecchio proprietario che ha portato un tocco di modernità al locale e riportando con sé una cucina di qualità. I piatti ben curati sia nel sapore sia nel gusto dove si può sentire la freschezza del pesce.

13/05/2024: Spectacular Sunday lunch trip out of town. Well done and congratulations to chef Cristian and family. We ate everything based on raw and cooked fish, sensational Stellar cuisine with modest prices, Perfect. We will return to try the meat. Well done and keep going 👍

04/07/2024: Probably due to the upcoming holidays the menu was very limited! No pizza, no fresh fish, only daily menu and some frozen calamari. Overall the quality of the food was mediocre and I also found it far too expensive for what we ate! 20 euro/person for a dish of average pasta and some drinks

10/08/2024: Na zes jaar geleden hier voor het laatst te hebben gegeten, zijn we weer in Sarteano. Als 1e zijn we hier gaan eten. Het blijft goed. Eten is altijd van goede kwaliteit. Je zit heerlijk op een groot terras

27/07/2024: Really nice and authentic Italian restaurant. We were confused by the comments here on problems with paying by card so we paid by cash in the first place. The staff was very friendly and kind, especially the young, English speaking waitress. The pizza and pasta were so delicious that we decided to eat a second time at this restaurant. Absolutely recommended Italian restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was friendly. We were unsure (because of the reviews here) and paid cash straight away - so there were no problems.

28/04/2024: In una serata dove abbiamo trovato almeno 10 ristoranti pieni, una voce gentile ci ha detto "c'è posto". Abbiamo trovato cibo genuino, buono e buone le porzioni, i prezzi di come eravamo abituati fino a qualche anno fa. Abbiamo notato tanti avventori che conoscevano già il posto e ci tornavano. Ed infatti ci torneremmo anche noi, magari quando è più caldo il tempo ed è possibile usare la loro bella terrazza. Anche il percorso per arrivare è bello, nel bosco, ma prenotate. Dopo due minuti dalla nostra telefonata anche loro erano pieni.

03/04/2024: Buon ristorante con porzioni molto abbondanti. Fuori dagli schemi turistici buona cucina casalinga. Menu vario di carne e pesce. Personale molto gentile.

29/07/2024: Terrible service and overpriced food. The food is not worthy of the price. I wouldn’t mind paying for quality service and food/drinks however at this place you’re merely paying for sitting next to the piazza.

26/07/2024: il posto è carino , niente di impegnativo arredato in modo rustico, servizio gentile, piatti da menù giornalieri, abbiamo mangiato delle cose semplici, preparate in modo semplice, ma buone. bagno pulito. se si passa da quelle parti vale per un pranzo di passaggio

14/07/2024: Piatti succulenti e prezzi giusti. Siamo stati a cena con bambini che hanno gustato pappa al pomodoro buonissima e salsiccia. Disponibili mezze porzioni per i più piccoli, le portate sono variegate e rispettano la tradizione toscana. La bistecca alla fiorentina servita su piastra era cotta al punto giusto ed era molto buona. L' antipasto di crostini toscani era accompagnato da salumi toscani ottimi. Vino della casa molto buono. Ristorante consigliatissimo.

06/08/2024: Tolles authentisches Restaurant mit toskanischer Küche. Sind am Anreisetag abends direkt hin, Tisch war kein Problem. Nettes Personal, viele Tische draußen. Es gibt regionale Küche, diverse Pizzen und Pasta. Sehr lecker und authentisch gekocht. Wollen heute Abend wieder hin , um die Pizzen zu probieren.

01/08/2024: Sono stato con la mia compagna a mangiare una ottima pizza, ma la delusione la cameriera (se non hai l'età non farlo) molto scortese e arrogante, voleva decidere lei cosa mangiare.

19/08/2024: Very good Ciaccini, even if a little passive/aggressive We go to Siena very often and every time the Ciaccino da Poppi is a must, but over time we have noticed that one of the two managers in particular is particularly passive/aggressive towards those who use the card to pay. The last time we used the ATM to pay €5.60 while our colleague was making us do the transaction, she was walking around drinking and said "they don't even have €10 in their pocket, they have these". And no, we don't have €10 in our pocket, because since the law allows it, we pay for everything with a debit card. These scenes have always happened: if it's her turn to collect, she snorts, otherwise she looks at you badly. 
So Poppi's Ciaccino deserves 5 stars (and even €3 if they raise prices to stay within the commissions), but we remove one for passivity/aggressiveness.

03/08/2024: They have a GREAT gluten free selection. The pizza was so filling and the view was stunning. It is a bit of a hike but it’s worth it!

10/08/2024: Locale carino ed accogliente, abbiamo preso 2 pizze ( margherita e bologna, con mortadella e pistacchio)…a dir poco buone; una bottiglietta di fanta, una di birra analcolica e un’acqua e per finire due tiramisu’. Abbiamo pagato 50€ Servizio molto rapido e cortese, super consigliato.

05/08/2024: Their classic margherita pizza was solid, and they have a nice location. But if you're in town for a limited time, there are just too many better options (right down the street) to spend a dinner here. We did the "Pizza Experience" for 2 to try a broad sample of their menu, and each successive pizza was a step worse than the one before. After the fried bread pizza, it culminated in a squid ink and blue cheese pizza (???), for which they give you a wet nap for your fingers. Gross. You'd be better off ordering 2 margheritas (or dining elsewhere). The service was friendly enough, but, boy, was it slow! Maybe if you ordered one pizza it'd be all right, but for their premium experience, we were waiting 20+ minutes between courses. They also charge a $3 coperto (service charge) per person, and while I'll say fair enough and readily pay this at any restaurant that brings a slice of bread and some olive oil or other light snacks, they do zilch for it here.

27/07/2024: Poco fuori dal centro del paese, stranamente quella sera aveva pochi avventori. Io sono stato molto contento di esserci andato: il locale è piacevolmente arredato e pulito, il servizio cortese e impeccabile, i prezzi sono corretti, abbiamo mangiato bene (un primo e secondo).
