22/03/2024: Cheese, Cheese and more Cheese! When I went to have lunch with my family for Easter at the restaurant they had a fixed menu. Everything was exquisite, very good, very high quality products, but there was really too much cheese for me. Each course contained cheese or the cheese itself was the course.

22/03/2024: Nice and clean place, discreet service. The pizzas are normal, there are worse but also undoubtedly better; just don't ask for ingredients not on the menu because they are not available. Those who, like me, don't drink beer, have to settle for coca zero (the terrible version of coca cola), lemonade, orangeade and organic drinks. 🤮 Sore point: dessert. Cheesecake that tasted like everything (or rather nothing) except cheese. The waitress asked me if I didn't like it since I left it on my plate after the second forkful. We get to the bill, which is really too exaggerated. You can pass on the €14/15 pizza (maybe even less burnt if possible) but €7 for a dessert seems too excessive to me. I spent €30 on a pizza, a coke and a dessert. For me it's a no!

They brought us crostini with sausage and crouton to welcome us, we then ordered various courses including the inevitable Fiorentina, crostini with liver pâté, sliced ​​Chianina and pici with ragù. Everything was exquisite! Finally they brought us some sweets and lollipops. Super recommended

06/04/2024: We booked at this place due to the excellent reviews, (it would even seem like the second pizzeria in all of Pisa)......but once we got there we should have understood that, given the very few customers.... something didn't add up!! !!! Lots of choice on the menu from fried foods, to normal pizzas to special ones, to panuozzi as well as to the dishes of the day.....but then in the end both of the two pizzas ordered despite having good ingredients (this is because fortunately we didn't get any stomach ache) still had the raw dough!!!! Raw and inedible cornice.... The base, which although extremely thin was still raw and tasteless!!!!! But let's get to the extremely painful point, Panuozzo for the child with the practically raw sausage inside!!! And this is definitely a shame..... I specify that I use this term - certainly important - because we can understand everything!!!!! ..... for example with the cooking of the pizza something went wrong, because the "official" pizza chef was on holiday or on sick leave or the oven had a problem regulating the temperature...... but not being able to cooking a sausage intended for consumption by a child is truly an indication of total indifference towards not only customers but the need to avoid health consequences!!!!!! No draft beer!!!!! scandalous toilets, with a folding door which, in addition to being broken and dirty, would in theory have had to divide the toilet (without toilet seat) from the anteroom!!!!! Everything in plastic from cutlery to tables and poor cleanliness in general!!!!! ...... a nauseating smell that at a certain point came from the kitchen..... The only positive note was the kindness of the young waitress who, at our request, brought the aforementioned sausage back to cooking. The owner or in any case the one who proved to be one, although aware of the fact that the panuozzo sauce had been cooked again, did not bother in the slightest either to apologize or to offer us a coffee (which we would certainly have refused!!!!) Highly not recommended.... stay away!!!!!!

06/04/2024: Apparently it has changed management (pity, the old owner was nice), honestly bringing a few defects compared to before: - Menu only via QR code, which is popular these days but an old paper menu is always convenient for the less technological (a customer had problems accessing it). Scrolling through 50 pizzas on your phone screen isn't exactly the best. - The dough was different, wholemeal, I would say a little bland compared to before. - The prices, the pizza I usually get (nothing gourmet) has increased by 20%. In short, it has transformed into a pizzeria for tourists in all respects. We used to go there for lunch break almost weekly, now it will probably happen less.

03/04/2024: Probably the lightest pizza we've ever had - so tasty, with amazingly light dough, lovely swollen edges and yet not at all heavy. This place came on a recommendation and I'm glad we waited for the table - yes this is on the main tourist track to the Leaning Tower which would maybe usually have put us off as being too touristy, full of low quality food joints, but it really was a lovely pizza, and very reasonably priced. We had three pizzas - a classic margherita, 4 cheeses and the tuna pizza (fresh tuna, not tinned!). Friendly, quick service - great!

But in this place everything changes .... the flavors are excellent , the pizza is light and goes down so well that you would even eat two in a row... You can smell the fragrance of the truly perfectly leavened and cooked dough..... behind it there is certainly the passion and knowledge of those who love their product in all aspects, there is the transport of those who want to offer you a sensation and Giovanni really does it. The environment reflects these aspects, welcoming, clean and varied... many vintage objects make up the furnishings, quality objects and refined in taste and arrangement....the value given to time.....During the Christmas period we also had the opportunity to taste Giovanni's panettone...absolute masterpieces...fragrant and delicate, the various flavors melted on the palate like caresses. I'm happy to be able to say that even in Pisa there are those who make you taste great quality pizzas. The craft beers are also excellent. Well done Giovanni!!!!!! P.S. .....Absolutely worth trying is the "Farina del mio sack" pizza....with larded prawns and crispy bacon...mmmhhhhhh.

28/03/2024: Absolutely amazing pizza and platters of cured meats and cheeses are prepared with care and using the best products that the area can offer. There is an outdoor area with a spectacular view of the Tuscan hills, absolutely recommended!

27/03/2024: Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious platter and really good pizza!!...even the house wine was excellent...I will return because I want to dine outside with a view of the Pisan hills....PS: they accepted my labrador inside.

I was amazed by the location since it is accessed from the main road, but from which there are no signs, visible only on the entrance located under a house. Having said that, a nice place, pleasant family service and excellent pizzas, but cooked in a container and not on the stone of the wood-fired oven.

15/03/2024: I discovered this pizzeria through TheFork. The place is small, but nice. The pizza is really good, the service is friendly and fast. TheFork discount has been applied correctly. Definitely worth trying.

29/02/2024: Very good!! We had an Inverno pizza and a La Mi Napoli and a craft red beer, all delicious. The La mi Napoli pizza is crazy, an explosion of taste, while the craft beer brings all the smells and flavors of Sicily thanks to the strong influence of citrus fruits. Highly recommended! One of the best pizzas and beers ever. Try them

03/04/2024: The place has an internal space, small but very intimate and nice. The pizza was a pleasant surprise, very light and fluffy dough. Friendly staff, fast and very friendly. Too bad we didn't try the desserts, they looked delicious. If you pass by Fauglia, it's a must try.
