We had lunch in the beautiful dining room downstairs, next to the charming medieval cellar. The food was excellent, with a wide selection; the pici were delicious, and the pizza was also excellent. Service was prompt and friendly.

I was a little disappointed with the bill, though. They charged me two extra appetizer platters, so I paid for four instead of two. I only noticed this when I got home! We had the Tuscan anti pasti, pizza and panna cotta with pistachio cream - the second time we went, we shared two pizzas between four people because the anti pasti is so big! Definitely recommend.

25/09/2025: Passing through Pisa, we made a befitting stop at Rino's. Greeted by the ever-smiling and courteous wait staff, we ordered a tagliata with parmesan and arugula, stockfish with Pisan-style potatoes, and fried calamari, plus two sides of potatoes and fried mushrooms. The tagliata was incredibly tender, expertly cooked, the calamari flavorful and tender, and the stockfish simply sublime. Generous portions accompanied by crispy, freshly baked bread. It's a shame to go to Pisa and not enjoy Alessio Marcato's expert cuisine. See you next time.
