09/12/2023: Ridiculous number of staff members for the number of clients, and all in all disorganized.
We’ve waited a long time for our order to be taken. The food came rapidly, but poor quality for the price and the cutlery was not well washed.
Never received our water, even if was asked twice. We ordered some white wine and in our opinion there was water in it.
Don’t recommend coming here.
04/09/2023: First restaurant we visit in lucca, we ordered a panini and pizza margherita. We got a frozen pizza and the panini bread was old. I expected a better quality for the food but it was a 0. They get a star only because the staff were nice.

07/08/2023: It's not called that anymore. Now it is grandfather Francesco's tavern. We eat well. Honestly very limited menu. They no longer make gluten-free fried fish. Gluten free pizza yes and it was good. The other pizzas were also good but they absolutely need to change knives because they were difficult to cut. Another detail: prices are really too high...

18/08/2024: Delicious pizza!! Excellent service and reasonable price.
01/07/2024: Really disappointing experience due to the exorbitant price.
I got two pieces of pizza and was shocked when the bill came to €20.
For a pizza by the slice, I was definitely expecting something more accessible.
Although the quality was decent, the cost was definitely not justified.
I don't think I will return to this place, unless they revise their prices.
