28/09/2025: The best Pasta A la Norma we had in our week here, between Catania and the islands north. Everything was delicious; dessert should not be skipped, also phenomenal. The staff was fantastic, friendly and attentive. Families were happy eating here and I would swear the manager knew everyone in the neighborhood as a regular if I could understand Italian. I felt welcomed and was well cared for nonetheless. One of our favorites of many restaurants visited around Italy. I wish the car wash across the street would close for a better atmosphere.

04/10/2025: Very nice restaurant with delicious food, the atmosphere was nice, clean and quiet, they had both Italian and English menus. This was recommended to us by our b&b host and definitely did not disappoint! Parking also available outside the restaurant.

29/09/2025: I was in sicily for business from October to January and from the moment I visited this restaurant I was in awe. The food in out of this world and the service is second to none. I enjoyed the food so much I came back over 20 times throughout my stay. This is not a place to be missed, it is amazing. Or sorpredente 🙂 thank you ladies for making this such a fantastic trip, its been truly amazing and your food has been even better. Bless you all

28/09/2025: This place was recommended by several people. The pizza experience was quite good; if it weren't for the rest, I would have given it 4/5 stars. What lowered the average was the lack of clarity regarding both the reservation and the service. I called to make a reservation and was told that the table would be occupied by other customers starting at 8:00 PM and would be free as soon as it became available. I arrived at the restaurant at 9:30 PM and, after informing the staff of our arrival, we waited patiently. While waiting at a convenient table outside, we saw our designated table become available at 9:45 PM, but they didn't seat us until 10:00 PM, the time listed in their reservation book. Once seated, we ordered appetizers and pizzas. We chose "peeled potatoes" from the menu and expected them to be the actual potatoes, but instead, they delivered classic French fries. Which in itself isn't a big deal; the problem lies in pointing it out to the waitress, who replied, "These are potatoes with their skins on. When you fry them, the color of the skins has faded, but they're still there," which left us very perplexed. As I said at the beginning, the pizzas are quite good; the problem lies in the lack of clarity in communication. There's nothing wrong with saying "we're out of potatoes with their skins," but what's more annoying is the attempt to mock us, as if we'd never seen potatoes with their skins. I'd come back to try other pizzas; I hope I can change my mind about the rest.

05/10/2025: A truly disappointing experience at Oneida. We were lured by the offer of the "round pizza + sweet pizzolo + drink + coffee" menu for €17, but the reality was quite different. First of all, as soon as we arrived, we were forced to share the pizzoli with the pizzas, effectively limiting our freedom of choice and forcing us to order less than we wanted. None of this was written on the menu, so we felt a bit cheated. The sweet pizzolo, moreover, is not "per person" as one might expect, but one for every four people! This information was also completely missing from the menu. At the end of the meal, we asked for coffee, but decaf wasn't available. They offered us a sorbet or a bitter liqueur as an alternative. Thinking it was a courtesy (or at least included in the menu, since they were offering it as a substitute for the missing coffee), we accepted. When we got the bill, we discovered an extra €10 for the sorbets—€3 more per person than the €17 menu, because the one with the sorbet would have cost €20. It's a shame no one specified this, and it was simply presented as a change for the lack of coffee. When we complained, the response was a cold "it's on the menu," with no willingness to engage in dialogue or understanding. Overall, an unpleasant experience and lack of transparency in management. A place that started off with good promises but completely lost itself in confusion, a lack of clarity, and an attitude toward customers that was anything but fair. I don't think we'll return, and we wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for an honest place that lives up to its hype.

26/09/2025: Last night I went to this pizzeria for the first time. The pizza was delicious, I could have eaten another; it wasn't heavy at all. But the secret ingredient, in my opinion, was the welcome and kindness with which I was greeted, both by the waiters and the owner; they made me feel at ease. Really nice. I'll definitely be back.

21/09/2025: The venison ragu was a hit as a first course 👍🏻🚀 A culinary delight. The second course was supposed to be cotoletto with potatoes. The cotoletto arrived and was fine. Unfortunately, the side dish didn't arrive. Instead, we got two bread rolls from the supermarket. 😄 Still, 4 stars for the extremely good ragu

17/09/2025: We had pasta with swordfish, which was absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly. Highly recommended! You should definitely reserve a table. Deductions are purely subjective, as it was too bright for me.

Service is quick and impeccable. We delighted in the trout, offered in various specialties, all exquisite: a gastronomic experience that left us completely satisfied. A truly excellent place. Highly recommended.
