28/11/2025: I had the mortadella pizza, and I have to say that with the chopped pistachios and the perito, it's really delicious. The crust is a little high and crunchy, and delicious! I really enjoyed everything!

29/01/2026: The owner, a gentleman, is a great host that guides you theough an amazing meal. He is proud of his litte gem, and he is right. Great food, open kitchen, small and intimate. Worth trying for me it should have higher ratings than all those around him, and i tried a few.

We had dishes like involtini di pesce spada, baccala, prawno rosso, tentacoli di polpo, frittura mista, insalata della nonna, and a wonderful wine called Vulka. 100% recommended. 11/12/2025: Pizzeria/rotisserie overlooking the sea. Delicious arancini, fried to order. Friendly staff. Prices are reasonable. One drawback: there are no restrooms.

27/09/2025: The atmosphere is discreetly furnished in a nautical style, with indoor and outdoor tables on a nice veranda. The staff is well-trained and ready to accommodate your requests. The restrooms are clean, although not overly large. The fish caponata is truly exquisite, as are the paccheri allo scoglio, with fresh cherry tomatoes. Overall, the prices are fair for the quality of the dishes.

24/09/2025: A beautifully decorated place where everything breathes the sea. Lovely interior and fantastic food! The service was also excellent! Definitely recommended for a stop for lunch or dinner!

26/01/2026: Unbelievable food and service. My party had everything from pizza to swordfish stew and various pastas, and it was all phenomenal. Accommodated a gluten sensitive member of our group, and all of their menu items can be made gluten free upon asking. Couldn't recommend more!

24/10/2025: This is our first time here, and I have to say that, aside from the somewhat long wait (which was understandable given the number of people seated), we were very happy and satisfied. The platter was delicious and plentiful, the pizzas excellent and full...!!! The place was clean and welcoming, the staff was "tidy", helpful, and kind. The prices are a bit high, I must say, but you pay for quality. What can I say?! We'll definitely be back, and for me, who's only been in Sicily for four months, this is definitely a great calling card...!!!

07/12/2025: PortoMatto in Avola was a delightful discovery. I ordered a first course, a truly delicious risotto: well-creamed, flavorful, but never heavy. The restaurant is elegant, with attention to detail, and the background music is not too loud and very pleasant, allowing for a peaceful conversation. Special praise goes to the table service: professional, attentive, but never intrusive. I'd especially like to highlight the kindness and empathy of the waiter, Giovanni, who really worked hard to find a solution for my wife's particularly restricted diet, trying to accommodate her in every way possible. In the end, she didn't order anything, but his face showed genuine disappointment, a sign of genuine care for the customer. Overall, a very positive experience: highly recommended.

01/02/2026: The hotel is very clean and in excellent condition. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent. The spa area is very nice. The pool is a good size for swimming laps (15m long), but it lacks a whirlpool (which can be booked separately in the sauna area). Great evening entertainment: billiards and table football for kids; this is an extra charge for adults.

22/01/2026: A fantastic hotel where you truly feel welcome and at home. Both the owners and staff provide friendly and professional service. We've been coming here for several years now and will be choosing this hotel again next winter.
