24/11/2025: Excellent food, excellent service. The atmosphere is a bit cramped and noisy.
It has both indoor and outdoor tables. Prices are naturally reasonable for the quality. Each dish costs no less than €25. Reservations are recommended, especially if you want to secure an outdoor table in the warmer months.

30/11/2025: Excellent pizzeria! The pizza is truly delicious, as are the appetizers, which are flavorful and carefully prepared. The staff is always polite and friendly, which makes the atmosphere even more welcoming.
The self-service option works very well and makes the experience quick and enjoyable. The house specialty is the "La Faccia di Vecchia" pizza, absolutely worth trying!
When I went the other day, I saw they'd added tuna to the menu: a new addition I really appreciated.
Wonderful experience, highly recommended! 🍕✨

16/08/2025: After many years I returned to rediscover the tastes of the past and I was surprised by the same quality and courtesy of everyone. The salmon pizza is the best I have ever eaten. The green coral pasta is spectacular and the sfincionello is a delight for the palate. I will return soon.

04/09/2025: Very nice restaurant, extremely friendly and helpful staff. We even got to chatting after closing time. I had the tagliatelle with wild boar ragù, and the portion was very generous and tasty. My wife was very pleased with the seafood salad and shrimp cocktail. The almond parfait was delicious. Highly recommended.

08/10/2025: Years ago, when you were with friends, you'd look for a restaurant or trattoria with three steps leading down; it was a guarantee of quality food.
A confirmed tradition, I recommend the caciocavallo in a bread crust, the tagliolini alla Natale, or the fresh pasta with pork ragù.
As always, it's best to come back for confirmation.
Once again, we were completely satisfied.

29/11/2025: I visited the Carlo Magno pizzeria and restaurant in Isola delle Femmine and was truly won over.
The pasta alla Norma was spectacular: al dente, flavorful sauce, light fried eggplant, and abundant salted ricotta, one of the best dishes I've eaten in Sicily. The Sicilian cannoli to finish was perfect: crispy shell, fresh ricotta cream, and not too sweet.
Friendly service, a family atmosphere, and fair prices. A place where you can taste the care and attention to detail: I'd go back tomorrow without a second thought.
29/10/2025: We stayed at Casa Chiara on September 22nd and 23rd.
Highly recommended, both for the quality and the price.
Excellent service, high-quality food, and especially the pistachio dessert.

26/10/2025: It was recommended to us, but honestly, the food wasn't good. The mussels weren't good, the grilled fish was. My husband had a calzone that was half empty. The service leaves a lot to be desired; they made us wait almost an hour before serving us. The place is nice. The quality/price ratio isn't satisfactory.
26/10/2025: For a change from pasta with pistachios, eggplants or almonds, try a really good carbonara.

30/09/2025: The pizza is delicious; you can tell the ingredients used are top-quality. I can't say the same for the location, which is a bit neglected and lacks elegance for its surroundings. The same goes for the bathrooms, which I prefer not to mention so as not to overly influence the review.
N.B.: I hope these words of mine will inspire a thorough renovation of the place, also to return it to its former glory, when the location and food were top-notch.
14/09/2025: A fantastic discovery in Palermo.
The atmosphere is refined, yet welcoming and almost family-like.
The view of the tennis courts of the nearby club is excellent.
I personally enjoyed an excellent appetizer (scampi cocktail) and a memorable first course (spaghetti with clams).
I plan to return on my next business trip.
