If you're in Monreale, it would be a shame not to stop by Taverna del Pavone. Highly recommended.

05/11/2025: It’s really worth the journey. Great tasting pizza. We tried four different pizzas and they were all fantastic, made with the best ingredients on an absolutely flavorful and crispy base. We tried their Tiramisu for dessert. Not recommended at all. Just have the pizza! Also make sure to book in advance.

24/11/2025: Everything was very good. Prices were a bit higher than average, but everything was top-notch. I'd eliminate the pesto or basil sauce scattered around the pizzas and add draft beers (not necessarily gluten-free). Good experience.

30/11/2025: We had an extraordinary time at Casale Drinzi in Collesano. We stayed for about three hours and enjoyed every minute - the atmosphere was cosy and welcoming, and the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely exquisite—beautifully presented, made with high-quality local ingredients, just incredibly delicious. Every dish was served properly and with care. Prices were definitely reasonable for the quality offered. The restaurant is located a tad outside Collesano and is very easy to reach, only a short drive up from Cefalù. We will definitely be coming back! Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable dining experience.

20/10/2025: The food is absolutely delicious, the best that we had in Sicily. Waiters are very helpful, polite. We are traveling with 20 month old toddler, the stuff helped us to arrange the food for the kid. Pizzas are outstanding, second dishes very very tasty. The waiter Joseppe was absolutely the best, very friendly, polite, and helpful!

05/12/2025: Undoubtedly one of the best pizzas in Palermo, if not the best from a bakery pan. It's a shame that a business should stand out for its courtesy, kindness, and customer service, and those are certainly not your qualities. Try changing whoever answers the phone, because politeness isn't really their thing. Deeply disappointed.

05/12/2025: A cozy place with friendly service and delicious oven-baked pizza. The selection of pizzas is so vast that it's impossible for anyone not to find something they like. I chose the salmon and mushroom one – I highly recommend it.

28/11/2025: Excellent pizza, friendly and helpful staff, quiet and peaceful atmosphere, outdoor parking, short wait for a table (reservations are required due to the weekend crowds). I highly recommend it!

30/09/2025: We ate pizza there several times. I always had the vegetarian pizza without cheese because it's vegan, and it was by far the best, with delicious sauce and lots of vegetables. Overall, it was always great; the service was very friendly and attentive, and the food was super delicious and absolutely affordable. We'll miss it!
