06/05/2026: A wonderful experience in a refined setting. My wife and I had lunch there a few days ago. The food was very good and carefully prepared. The kindness and friendliness were abundant and natural, a rarity. If we return to Monreale, we'll definitely visit you again.

02/05/2026: We went to Taverna del Pavone and had a truly wonderful time. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was satisfying from start to finish. We tried a seafood pasta dish and a pasta alla Norma, both excellent: flavorful, well-prepared, and made with quality ingredients. The appetizers were also very good, as were the desserts. In particular, the cassata was very fresh, delicate, and truly delightful; the chocolate dessert was also delicious. Overall, it was a lovely experience, with carefully prepared dishes and excellent service. Our only small suggestion is to slightly expand the gin selection on the menu and, perhaps, serve the tonic water separately, so each customer can adjust it to their own taste. Otherwise, absolutely recommended!

On holidays and Sundays, there's no à la carte menu; instead, there's a set menu for €45 with a great selection of local specialties, including wine. Unfortunately, they forgot our antipasti platter; otherwise, it would have been five stars.

26/04/2026: Holiday at an agriturismo: Celebrating, eating, drinking, and laughing! At Casale Drinzi in Collessano, it was fantastic on April 25th, simply top-notch. Actually, I'm not usually a fan of going to an agriturismo on holidays and special occasions. We've often had some unpleasant surprises. But not here! The location is a dream, nestled against the majestic Madonie Mountains. On the terrace, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, its waters shimmering a pale blue on the horizon, a glass of Prosecco or Campari in hand. Gianluca, the owner, is bustling about: a helping hand here, a greeting there—a perfect host. The new dining room upstairs has now been completed. You feel welcome as soon as you walk in. The many delicious antipasti, pasta, and meat dishes were all cooked to perfection, and a cannolo scalyano made for a delightful end to a wonderful day at Casale Drinzi. I call arriving and feeling at ease, enjoying a different kind of day with family and friends. This is possible here, with such a breathtaking view and ambiance, and outstanding cuisine. The wine selection is impressive, with some important labels just waiting to be uncorked. Not just for special occasions, but every day at lunch and dinner. They also serve pizza, which you can soon enjoy on a new, elevated wooden terrace overlooking the greenery and the church of Collessano. It's the perfect place to unwind on a hot summer day. For those who are looking for a cozy local place with an amazing atmosphere and outstanding food, this spot is a perfect choice. Thank you for this experience — I felt like I had been in a true gastronomic paradise 🤤

09/05/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant. The restaurant was almost full. We were asked to wait 10 minutes, but a table was eventually freed up for us quite quickly (less than 3 minutes). (Reservations are highly recommended.) We ordered very quickly, having had time to look at the menu while waiting for our table: two pasta carbonara dishes. We had to wait 40-50 minutes for our order: customers who arrived 15 minutes after us were served 10 minutes before us. No one informed us that there was a problem or simply a delay, just the head waiter and the servers looking at our (empty) table, one telling the other to send the order to the kitchen (twice). Yes, the restaurant was full, but if you give us a table, it means you're capable of handling the volume, right? No compensation was offered when we paid the bill (however, they did apologize twice, which is something).

12/05/2026: Wonderful place right near the square, delicious food thanks to the raw ingredients and fantastic cuisine, top pizza in my opinion the best both normal and celiac, staff attentive to the needs of the customer and finally the wonderful owners put themselves first in everything.

02/05/2026: As promised, here's my review from Catanesi Doc 😁. We were on vacation nearby by chance, looking for places to dine, and we happened to see this place on the map. I highly recommend it. The staff is super friendly and kind. The dishes were excellent, all delicious, from the pizza to the seafood appetizers and first courses. Even though it was a Saturday night, the wait was normal. I forgot, if you have a sweet tooth, get the deconstructed tiramisu, super good! See you next time, Ron and Salvo
