16/05/2026: Pizza with friends at a place we weren't familiar with. A unique experience. Despite the crowds, we had our pizza on the table within minutes of placing our order. Kudos to our waitress Maria, who greeted us with a smile and served us with great professionalism. We'll be back soon.

11/01/2026: We had dinner in the evening at this beachfront spot. The atmosphere is lovely, but it's definitely more charming during the day with a beautiful sea view. The menu features seafood and pizza. We ordered a few appetizers, including fried sardines, and then opted for a seafood risotto, which was quite flavorful and a generous portion. The pizzas were very good, with excellent dough. The desserts were beautifully presented, including the cheesecake, which was delicious. It's a shame the crème brûlée was so cold, as it should usually be warm. Friendly staff.

03/11/2025: La Pergola Restaurant was a real surprise during our stroll through Santa Maria al Bagno. It's centrally located, right on the village square, overlooking the sea. The highlight is undoubtedly the cuisine, which proved to be excellent. You can taste the freshness and quality of the fish, the true star of the menu. 28/10/2025: A very nice restaurant with more than reasonable prices and a warm welcome. The food is very good, very generous, and they accept dogs. I recommend it 👍🏻

03/05/2026: I eat out often, and I have to say that I would return to this place tomorrow for so many reasons that can be summed up in one word: PAMPERING. Excellent food, served with care and prepared with such attention. A treat for the palate. Excellent service, from the waiters to the owners, without exception. Pampering the customer is an art and they absolutely have it! They know how to be discreet and perfect at the same time. The place is spotless. I give it 5 stars, well deserved. One last thought: the location is in Otranto, on the seafront and with a spectacular view. Highly recommended! 👍👍👍

08/06/2026: I celebrated my graduation at Scacciapensieri (since I lived in Lecce and Monteroni is very close by and parking is easier). The service was impeccable...for about twenty guests, it was commendable. Their thin-crust pizzas and various appetizers were excellent...Great value. Try it and you'll be back.

25/05/2026: Four stars that don't exist... rooms and bathrooms are unremarkable, no hot water, no lights. When I reported it, the response was: "Yeah... I know..." Breakfast was adequate, only dessert... I used the restaurant, excellent food.

22/10/2025: Excellent choice in San Cesario de Lecce. We ordered some fries and the burrata, mortadella, and pistachio pizza, and it was a delicacy. Very attentive and friendly. We ate there; there are two small tables outside. Many people came to place their orders. We would eat here again.

27/09/2025: A wonderful little place in a small Italian town! We had dinner here several times and tried different pizzas each time – one with traditional dough and one gluten-free. Both were amazing, and the gluten-free pizza was by far the best I’ve ever had in Italy! The staff were incredibly kind, we always got a table on the patio, and the owner was genuinely delighted to welcome visitors from Poland. Each time we were treated to limoncello and grappa, which made us feel truly special. Nowhere else in Italy have we experienced such warm hospitality. Highly recommended – and if we return to Puglia, we’ll definitely come back!

Marina with kindness, intelligence and great humanity reassured us and in a few minutes she found the best solution made to the top for us... a precious help... an angel.... Sara also served us with professionalism despite the Saturday evening with the place packed with people.... Marina and Sara are two excellent points of reference fundamental for customers.... we extend a huge thank you to them.... yesterday we ate an excellent grilled roast meat with delicious appetizers... this evening we enjoyed two extremely good pizzas... a heartfelt applause goes to the pizza chef and all the staff who work behind the scenes... you are all worthy of an Oscar award... we wish you great satisfaction and success and all the best... we greet you with affection and again thank you very much for everything.... 02/06/2026: Disappointing. Some dishes, such as potato croquettes, grilled vegetables, and meatballs in tomato sauce, were okay, but the mixed antipasto was truly bland and the baked potatoes were very poor. The staff was very friendly.
