In totale abbiamo preso soute di cozze, per 8€ una vasca di cozze buonissime (sughetto tuttavia migliorabile) , orecchiette con polpettone mooolto buone, polpo alla pignata eccezionale. Compreso 1/4 vino della casa, prezzo totale 34€! Cameriere Enrico gentilissimo e simpatico. Super consigliato, ci torneremo sicuramente!!

09/06/2024: A special evening... This is the right restaurant for both a pizza or a slightly more discreet dinner... Excellent dishes and excellent well-made pizza both for the eyes and the palate... The desserts are a delicacy... Catalan cream with scenic effect WOW.... Of course the prices are a little above the ropes but not exaggerated... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND... Also suitable for the lower floor for events of all kinds... Fast and attentively kind service.. Free parking in front of the restaurant and not for a fee.... Keep following me for more advice... PROMOTED with flying colours...

The entrance to this restaurant is beautiful, 2 comfortable chairs, a beautiful piano, and a beautiful table where you can eat comfortably. 02/08/2024: For more than three years in a row now, I have been spending my summer holidays at the Hotel Universo, located in the beautiful area of ​​the Alimini Lakes, rich in pine forests and Mediterranean scrub. In this place I found the ideal combination of the beauty of the sea, excellent cuisine and comfortable living. The sea: it is really just a few steps from the rooms (30 meters or 50 meters depending on the accommodation) and is extraordinarily clear. Furthermore, with a short walk along the shoreline (about 500 metres) you can easily reach Baia dei Turchi, one of the most beautiful beaches in Salento. The cuisine: the skill of the chefs is combined with the quality of the raw materials, allowing us to savor truly good dishes, simple but (perhaps for this very reason) full of flavour. Worth trying are the spaghetti from the Adriatic, the Universo risotto, the spaghetti with crab and the second courses where fish reigns supreme. The hotel restaurant is also open to external customers; for those (like me) who benefit from half board, the choice between three first courses and three second courses is available, but variations are also offered every day. With a very small difference in price you can still order any other dishes on the menu. The living room: the rooms are simple but well looked after and clean, equipped with everything you need. The best (as the name suggests) are the Comfort ones but the others also allow for an excellent stay. Internal parking for the car is available; the beautiful Otranto is just a few minutes away, as is Torre dell'Orso. To top it all off, there is the kindness and availability of Luca, the owner, and all the staff. Ultimately a place to recommend to those who love simple but quality things.

23/08/2024: Having good memories of this pizzeria, I took two Margherita pizzas to take away, unfortunately I wasn't very satisfied, I found the sauce a little acidic and the dough a little heavy. It's probably a matter of taste but the thing that I found a bit exaggerated is the price, for a margherita not eaten in a restaurant €7 seems a bit excessive to me, especially because the price on the digital menu is different from the paper one I hope to change my mind in a positive way if I ever return

22/08/2024: I highly recommend this place, you can see that they use fresh products and that they are treated with care and attention. Starter (mixed fried food) TOP, never had fried food done so well, excellent pizza, very good, very tasty, the kind that you don't wake up at night to drink even though they were very rich in ingredients! Nice environment, friendly and very professional staff. Congratulations we will be back with pleasure!

04/08/2024: It's not enough to be in one of the most beautiful seaside resorts in Italy. It's not enough to stand with your feet in crystal clear waters or cradled in a gazebo on a green lawn with the sound of the waves and the wind whistling through the reeds and the Mediterranean dune scrub. Here at Lido del Sol I found much more: absolute courtesy, kindness that makes you feel pampered, delicacies for the palate and everything that anyone who wants to experience even just one day of holiday with a capital T could imagine. In short, the right recipes that I can summarize with just two words: relaxation and pleasure

29/07/2024: Beautiful restaurant, incredible decor. Impeccable service and warm welcome. The cuisine is excellent and mastered, however I believe that the chef would benefit from bringing us back to flavors of the region, I found the culinary experiments a little daring.

24/04/2024: As a celiac I am fully satisfied with everything 😀 from the staff to the food so far I have tasted some excellent panzerotti and a good pizza and the pasticciotto cake! I will definitely return to try the restaurant sector 😃 but ultimately everything is ok
