03/11/2025: La Pergola Restaurant was a real surprise during our stroll through Santa Maria al Bagno. It's centrally located, right on the village square, overlooking the sea. The highlight is undoubtedly the cuisine, which proved to be excellent. You can taste the freshness and quality of the fish, the true star of the menu. 06/01/2026: Welcoming and familiar place, we were there on the evening of January 5th and about an hour before midnight the BEFANA arrived, kindly giving candy to the children and taking photos and selfies with all of us. The karaoke lady managed to organize the singing and dancing well and was available to the slightly different requests of our group. We had a really lovely evening, compliments to the DJ, truly engaging. We will do it again.

23/09/2025: A casual spot near the Castro Marina beach. Excellent food, well-served. I had the puccia with fried octopus, which was spectacular! The puccia is made fresh by them and stays crispy throughout the meal...truly sublime!

They don't offer table service; pizzas must be ordered and picked up, and drinks must be purchased and picked up at the bar next door. 14/07/2025: Da tanti anni che andiamo in questo ristorante e ci siamo trovati sempre bene,ma questa sera ci siamo ricreduti.Abbiamo ordinato antipasto mare e terra che doveva essere x due persone ma da come ci è stato presentato non bastava nemmeno x mezza persona ( es. Un pezzetto di polipo di 3 cm può mai bastare x due? e così altre pietanze tutto minimal) .per non parlare poi della frittura di calamari presentata in piccoli pezzettini ( x farvi capire dei mini calamaretti che non sono indicati x la frittura duri e senza sapore).Chiediamo spiegazione al cameriere il quale va in cucina dallo chef per avere una risposta, ma non lo vediamo più. Chiediamo ad un'altra cameriera più esperta che ci delucita sul fatto che loro usano i calamari di piccola taglia in cucina e ci vuole rifare un'altra porzione di frittura ma noi rifiutiamo. Dopo per compensare ci offre un amaro che accetto volentieri. Vado a pagare il conto e mi ritrovo a pagare anche l'amaro . Insomma una vera amara serata.

Il servizio è stato puntuale nel rispettare l'orario della prenotazione e soprattutto molto attento nel far mangiare le bambine per prime e insieme, anche se avevano ordinato piatti differenti gesto da noi genitori molto apprezzato. Il misto fritto era davvero buono e leggero. Ottima anche la pizza, anche se personalmente l’avrei preferita un po’ più sottile ma resta comunque ben fatta e digeribile. I dolci sono una vera chicca, consiglio vivamente la millefoglie e il tiramisù, entrambi davvero deliziosi. Servizio gentile, attento e impeccabile. Una serata piacevole Consigliato

Salento dishes, seafood and meat specialties...all top-quality. The meat is excellent. Delicious pizza, light dough, and quality ingredients. The fried foods and appetizers are delicious to start. The desserts are delicious and beautifully presented. I've always had dinner there, but I'll definitely be back for lunch to enjoy the excellent first courses as well.

03/09/2025: This morning we were passing through Galatina, and someone recommended Caffè del Corso for breakfast, and I must say we found some excellent krapfen accompanied by a delicious espresso. I recommend stopping by. The service and cleanliness were top notch.
