31/12/2025: Pizzeria Number One is undoubtedly a guarantee. The food is excellent quality; you can clearly taste the fresh and carefully selected ingredients. The pizza dough is light, digestible, and not heavy, something rare these days.
Special mention goes to the rustici, rustic panzerotti, arancini, and croquettes: all handmade and not pre-frozen like many other pizzerias. This really makes a difference on the palate: every bite has an authentic, homemade flavor, unique.
The pizza is truly excellent; as mentioned, the dough is incredibly light, and the toppings are always generous and well-balanced. The service is prompt, even at peak times: I often go there on weekends, and yesterday, during the Coez concert in the square, the quality and speed were unchanged.
The staff are kind, friendly, and always smiling; they make you feel at home. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat well and feel welcomed. Really well done!

20/06/2026: Excellent pizza and appetizers. Lactose-free and gluten-free options available. Located near the villa, it's a great place to park and stroll before and after your meal. Friendly and helpful staff. The place isn't immediately wheelchair accessible, but with the help of the staff, some small obstacles can be overcome. Recommended.

The pizza was burnt and had four pieces of salami.

We were looking for something different, that we wouldn't easily forget. We drove by a few places before but they were all closed so we ended up here by chance. From the outside the place looked like a container which wasn't very promising. Little did we know about what was awaiting us inside. Waiters look and behave as kidnapped with a time machine from the 60's: 0% BS, 100% proper gentlemen. Actually the whole place is stuck in the 60-70's but still very tidy. Cuisine is traditional, simple, and exquisite. The mains we got after tons of antipasto were orecchiette ragù & linguine ai frutti di mare, and horse meat roll & grilled chicken. Portions are big. Best buffalo mozzarella of my life (ended up buying some extra to take at home). Wine of the house very good too. Prices are ridiculous. We walked out full, drunk, happy, and still quite rich, and there was a double rainbow waiting for us outside (no jokes).
PS if you are looking for something fancy and gourmet, are vegan or are the "long-list-of-intolerances" person, probably best to steer clear from this.
04/01/2026: We stopped by chance for a quick lunch and, after quickly checking the reviews, decided to have lunch. The fisherman's rice was practically raw...not even a trace of fish. The mixed fried fish and roast meat were good. On the other hand, the price was really low.

20/05/2026: We ordered pizza to our campsite via WhatsApp. It was so easy and straightforward.
The pizza and bruschetta were absolutely delicious.
I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't feel like going to a restaurant in the rain in the evening. It was the perfect solution for us.

14/09/2025: It's mid-September, but don't stay open if you don't want to. We waited a quarter of an hour and the managers were going back and forth on their phones and closing doors. Then we asked if anyone was coming and they told us they'd close at 7:00 PM. It was 6:00 PM!!🤣
26/08/2025: Today I was supposed to attend a party for a dear friend, and I read the owners' response saying that one of the group members didn't have a green pass... that's false; the person had been tested. And we also know about the various excuses the owners used to avoid the party, inviting the birthday girl to go somewhere else and saying they'd eat the fish.

Ristorante Pizzeria la Buria

31/07/2025: Se siete alla ricerca di una pizza che vi faccia sentire come a casa, La Buria è il posto giusto. La base della pizza è qualcosa di incredibile: sottile, quasi come quella che faceva mia nonna nel forno a legna. Non più di 1 cm di spessore, croccante al punto giusto, ma con quella morbidezza che solo una preparazione fatta con passione può dare. I profumi che si sprigionano appena arriva al tavolo ti riportano indietro nel tempo, a un'epoca in cui il cibo aveva un sapore autentico, semplice, ma incredibilmente buono.
Anche gli ingredienti per il condimento sono scelti con cura, freschi e genuini, esaltano il gusto della pizza senza mai sopraffarlo. Ogni morso è una vera delizia, che sa di tradizione e di amore per la cucina.
Se passate per Peschici, non lasciatevi scappare La Buria: è un’esperienza che va oltre il semplice mangiare, è un viaggio nei sapori e nei ricordi di una cucina che non ha paura di restare fedele alla propria storia.
27/07/2025: Siamo andati a cena in questo ristorante che ci è stato consigliato vivamente e devo dire che siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. A partire dal servizio veloce e molto professionale, fino ad arrivare ai piatti a dir poco deliziosi. Abbiamo preso come antipasto da dividere in 2 le cozze ripiene ed erano buonissime, a seguire due spaghetti con le vongole, forse i più buoni mai mangiati, accompagnati con una bottiglia di vino bianco (si può scegliere tra bottiglia grande e piccola, ottima cosa per chi non beve troppo vino come noi) e per finire due sorbetti al limone e due amari che ci sono stati gentilmente offerti dalla casa.
Che dire, la cena migliore della vacanza! I prezzi sono leggermente più alti di altri posti ma è giustificato dalla qualità alta dei piatti (abbiamo dato un occhio alle pizze e avevano dei prezzi nella media). Sicuramente ci torneremo!
