06/08/2024: This is the second time I've ordered takeaway pizza from this restaurant. Like the first time, it was an absolute disappointment. We ordered 10 pizzas and not even one was saveable. In the diavola, the salami was almost absent and it didn't punch at all; the Monte Saraceno had no sausage and the potatoes were inedible; the Viennese was burnt and the frankfurters were old. The dough on all the pizzas seemed pre-cooked and it was difficult to eat; furthermore all the pizzas had an onion aftertaste. Never eaten so disgusting.

02/08/2024: I got 4 pizzas instead of 3, so I'll be fatter, oh well.

14/07/2024: Arrived at 10.15pm, paella served express 10.45pm. Very kind, even though it was about to close. A nice welcome to Emilia Romagna. There is still a beautiful Italy ❤️

06/02/2024: Cooked ham and spicy sausage had a bad smell on the pizza.. happened many times.. so it's a real vice. “But yes, we really care, we have to put it on the pizza” as if people didn't notice. It's a shame, it would also be a good dough if they used quality things on the pizza and not stinky cured meats..

30/03/2024: Located five kilometers from the town, Hotel Il Paradiso offers breathtaking views in the morning, thanks to its isolated position. The rooms, although a little spartan, offer a peaceful retreat. However, the small TV may disappoint guests. Classified as a three star, the hotel may be a little generous in its ratings. The breakfast, consisting of an empty croissant, two biscuits and a modest portion of jam, accompanied by instant coffee, leaves a little to be desired. However, main meals offer a better gastronomic experience, with first and second courses followed by dessert. Unfortunately, the breakfast service does not fully meet expectations, with staff who are unprofessional and not accommodating to guests' requests. Despite this, Hotel Il Paradiso in Collina offers an overall acceptable experience for those seeking a peaceful escape from the daily grind.

16/04/2024: total disappointment for a restaurant in the city center, wide variety of products, two types of pizza by the slice, 8 rustic pizzas counted, and more. Not to mention the fact that we waited half an hour to be served, total disappointment.

21/08/2024: The name will change to Relax Residence Village and there is no more appropriate name because there is absolute tranquility! The bungalows are arranged to provide privacy and are well equipped. It is family run and they are always helpful and kind, it feels really good. The restaurant-pizzeria isn't bad at all either. 06/08/2024: Personal holiday experience from 27th to 3rd August with the family My husband and I and a 2 year old girl (Fantastic entertainment with smart teenage boys despite their first work experience) My daughter had a lot of fun and had a good time with them Structure that leaves something to be desired Starting from the disorganization of all the staff Limited buffet breakfast (croissants on the table counted based on the number of people) Yoghurt, biscuits, chocolate, jams Juice, coffee, cereal and biscuits (Sparkling water until Wednesday, then they told us there was a fault with the water purifier) For lunch and dinner I can't tell you one day we ate for 10 and one day for 1 More than once we sent dishes back because we didn't like them Restaurant opening hours too restrictive 7:30-9:00 12.30-2.00pm 6.30pm-9pm You can't arrive a minute late because the kitchen closes Rooms cleaned superficially To change towels they ask for a supplement of €8 per person per day Otherwise they leave you the same towels for 7 consecutive days We always talk about a 4 star resort Which according to my personal experience is worth 2 stars Bar that does not offer the service of a fresh granita or a coffee cream Talking about basic things (Limited in choices) To tell the truth, this experience leaves me very dissatisfied I leave a piece of my heart there just for having met the animation guys And the three maids But if I had to recommend it NO! BECAUSE THE PRICES ARE HIGH AND IT'S NOT WORTH IT

14/01/2024: the pizza has no depth and it was difficult to cut it but all in all it wasn't to be thrown away, the atmosphere is very nice and soft but I give one star for the service: they forced us to pay Roman style even if someone only took a dessert and others a complete menu, boasting and laughing in their faces. I will never come to this pizzeria again.

12/09/2023: Update: I'm going down to one star because unfortunately you can't go below zero. What can I say...it's a shame. A place with extreme potential that is reduced to a nightmare. I was invited to a birthday party recently and the only things I liked were those outside the restaurant, i.e. entertainment, set-up and dessert buffet. Apart from the 4 cheese pizza, very good, having been prepared on the spot, the rest of the menu was disgusting: a measly little plate of cold cuts and then the fried food, probably bought in some discount store the day before the deadline to start with. Not to mention the pizzas placed in the center, HOW DID YOU GET SOME STUPID FROZEN PIZZAS EVEN BURNED??? But are we celebrating an 18th or are we at the dinner of 4 away students short of money? We arrive at the service: 2 waiters for almost 80 people just at our table (not counting the rest of the tables), one of whom was completely asleep and unable to bring more than two dishes at a time. Furthermore, we started eating at midnight and you weren't even able to bring the drinks to the table before 11.45pm without being scolded SEVERAL TIMES by the parents of the birthday boy. Luckily it was a great party for everyone because the entertainment and the rest completely put aside the mess you made. I was also full of expectations, given that my parents ate at your place a few months ago, reporting excellent quality of food and efficient service. Apparently the gaps in the service are due to constant changes in staff. At this point I would advise you to examine your conscience about the staff you hire and the reasons that lead your employees to leave. You are lucky that in a town like San Nicandro you still remain among the best restaurant businesses present, otherwise you wouldn't have lasted even a week where I come from. Since you are not capable of being a restaurateur, I advise you to sell the business and dedicate yourself to something else. Like hell I'll come back to you, not even under torture. I give the second star because I really liked what I ate. As soon as I entered I was scared by the "For sale" sign and by the fact that the room was half empty. I understood the reason for these two things when they served us: unfortunately only half of the staff knows what they have to do, and by half I mean Giuseppe, the boy who is at the register, who is also a friend, and the girl with short hair and blacks, who was very friendly and sincerely sorry for her colleagues' messes. Table for 4, we are offered one for 2, with 4 seats, with quite a few problems we are moved because one of the waiters opposes our decision. Very long, exhausting waiting times, it's not normal to wait almost 2 hours for a pizza with the place half-empty. The waiter took forever to bring the second bottle of water, if I had asked him where it was, I would have gotten up and gotten it myself sooner. The icing on the cake: at the checkout, in addition to the cashier mentioned above, we find one of the waiters who served us, perhaps the worst, who asks us if we wanted a bitter. After our cordial refusal he comes out with a disgusting "look, it's free eh!". My dear, instead of trying to bribe the customer by offering him bitters, WAKE UP and serve him properly. 18/08/2024: We find ourselves visiting the beautiful town of Lucera, and decide to spend a night in the Hotel Villa Imperiale. The structure has an 80s style with rooms and architecture identical to those shown in the Shining film where (I swear) the iconic tricycle is parked inside. At the reception we are welcomed by two girls who, to put it mildly, exude happiness from every pore... The information they give us is vague and precise and we slowly manage to understand where our room is located. The 80s style room also appears poorly renovated, without connection, without bottles of water, with a soft light, and covered with strange flyers of ISO Certifications drawn up by unknown foreign independent bodies and not related to the Hotel/Tourism sector . Further down we also find announcements that warn us about the possibility of theft of towels in the room. Furthermore, a little terrified I read that the structure, by choice, is not registered on any tourist review platform, of the series: "No one will read your story of stay here..." Shocked, we try to relax by heading to the fabulous swimming pool advertised on their website, only discovering hours later that it has been out of use for four years now. Dejected, we return to our warm and "comfortable" room where the air conditioner installed inside emits a noise similar to that of American Apache helicopters, which keeps us from sleeping all night. Under the sheets, they dreamed of our return home and we prayed for a substantial breakfast, given that in this hotel there is a renowned and advertised gourmet restaurant...poor deluded people.... The next morning the "very good breakfast" presents itself with a single stale croissant and a coffee as black as coal, a yogurt with cereals and nothing else... we leave aware that we have certainly disrespected some otherworldly being, who , as punishment, arranged for us to stay in this structure where, as Edgar Allan Poe wrote "Nothing was human..."

18/08/2024: Ci troviamo a visitare la bellissima cittadina di Lucera, vicino Foggia, e decidiamo di passare una notte nell'Hotel Villa Imperiale. La struttura si presenta molto stile anni 80 con camere e architettura identiche a quelle riportate nel film di Shining dove, giuro, si trova al suo interno parcheggiato l'iconico triciclo. Alla reception ci accolgono due ragazze che per usare un aforisma, sprizzano felicità da tutti i pori... Le informazioni che ci danno sono vaghe e tirate con la pinza e riusciamo piano piano a capire dove si trova la nostra stanza. La stanza stile anch'essa anni 80 si presenta mai ristrutturata, senza connessione, senza bottiglie d’acqua, con una luce soffusa, e tappezzata da strani volantini di Certificazioni ISO redatti da Enti indipendenti esteri sconosciuti e non attinenti al settore Alberghiero/Turistico. Più in basso troviamo anche annunci che ci redarguiscono sulla possibilità di furto degli asciugamani (per la cronaca ne aveva solo 2) in stanza, dove i trasgressori saranno puniti severamente. Inoltre, un po' terrorizzato leggo che la struttura, per sua scelta, non si trova registrata in nessuna piattaforma di recensione turistica, della serie: “Nessuno leggerà la tua storia di soggiorno qui..." Sconvolto, proviamo a rilassarci un po’ dirigendoci nella favolosa piscina pubblicizzata nel loro sito, scoprendo solo ore dopo che è in disuso da ormai quattro anni. Abbattuti ritorniamo nella nostra calda e confortevole stanza dove il climatizzatore installato al suo interno emette un rumore simile a quello degli Elicotteri Apache Americani, il che non ci fa dormire per tutta la notte. Sotto le lenzuola, sognavano il nostro ritorno a casa e pregavano in una colazione sostanziosa, visto che in questo Hotel è presente un rinnovato e pubblicizzato ristorante gourmet ...poveri illusi…. La mattina dopo la "buonissima colazione" si presenta con un solo cornetto stantio e un solo caffè nero come il carbone, uno yogurt gusto ignoto e giuro e dico giuro nient'altro... ce ne andiamo consapevoli di aver sicuramente mancato di rispetto a qualche essere ultraterreno, che, come punizione, ha fatto in modo di farci alloggiare in questa struttura dove, come scriveva Edgar Allan Poe "Nulla aveva di umano..."
