21/10/2025: Welcoming place, very noisy, almost impossible to converse. We were there on Saturday 18th October 25th at 8.30pm, it was very crowded, we were 6 people, we took 3 platters of mixed cold cuts and various cheeses and pizzas, all very good, the pizzas are the best, highly recommended.

14/07/2025: This is our second stay here in two and a half years. This hotel has its own charm, the pool is just amazing. And the rooms are adequate. Dora is so kind🥰 every morning she takes the time to prepare a delicious (savory) breakfast for us, and the rooms are always cleaned while we're away. The only downside, when you're unfamiliar with the city, is that they don't serve lunch or dinner (at least during our stay). Be aware that the hotel hosts events on Friday and Saturday evenings, so you have to be prepared before choosing it as your place of stay. And thank you also to Antonio (the owner) for the welcome. 09/11/2025: We were in this pizzeria to celebrate a birthday, good food, too bad the service is slow, the place very small, we were very crowded even though they were notified of the number of people well in advance to better arrange the table, the table for the cake, we didn't know where to put the strollers and how to move. The owner a bit rude even though the full menu had been made for everyone, he always specified what the menu included, when it was enough to ask the birthday boy how to behave and if necessary he would add himself at the end, for example, when it was time for the bitters he specified what could and could not be ordered, and those who perhaps hadn't ordered immediately because they were distracted then responded "that if they didn't order they wouldn't bring it" very unpleasant response, because the bitters had been paid for anyway for the entire number of people according to the menu, so he had to bring them to the table anyway, maybe if someone didn't want it, they would drink something else since they were paid for it.

02/08/2025: If you're looking for a simple evening out but still want a good slice of pizza, I highly recommend trying Michele's pizza. The owner is gruff, but only on the surface. I went there a few nights ago while I was in the beautiful San Giovanni Rotondo, and we took the opportunity to order some and eat it at my in-laws' house. My favorite is the paesana, but the other flavors are also good, like the spicy salami one. The panzerotti are excellent, and the "cavicione" is delicious, especially if made with local onions (definitely worth trying). Prices are fair and in line with the local average. They've become a regular stop for me every time I'm in Puglia. Well done!

10/09/2025: It's a historic pizzeria I've known since I was a child; I go there for the local pizza. However, I understand the tight preparation schedule, but all the ingredients should always be specified (piazza con i peperoni = Pizza with peppers and salami).

30/08/2025: The pizza is amazing, the crust is crispy, and the paesana with fresh tomatoes 🍅 is fantastic. Highly recommended. You can write your order on the bread roll yourself, which is also a cool idea.

07/09/2025: We stopped here for lunch on our trip to Venice. You might not guess it from the outside, but the food was excellent and the prices were amazing. I would come back anytime. There were a few business people eating here, as they were taking their lunch break. Every meal that came out of the kitchen looked really good.

01/09/2025: Extremely rude! We tried to have lunch there on Sunday, August 31st! Let's start with the assumption that THEY DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE, so RESERVATIONS ARE IMPOSSIBLE. Anyone who wants to eat here has to show up at the "restaurant," which actually looks like a converted shipping container, hoping there's a free table. Upon entry, you're not greeted; you just have to wait for a member of staff to come and speak to you. After a few minutes, you're told there's not enough staff to answer the phone. After a few more minutes, a second person arrives and decides whether to find a seat for you (since you couldn't make a reservation) or dismiss you, telling you, "There's no room for you!" (It was me, my wife, my 5-year-old daughter, and my 8-month-old son. PS: I just wanted to take my wife to lunch at a place she loves, where she used to go very often with her parents when she was a child! Disappointed by the rudeness and total lack of empathy, not even for two children!
