22/10/2025: Looking for dinner on a Monday in October is not always easy but we stumbled into Big Boy and enjoyed ourselves. Pizza was good, I enjoyed the Garganica and my wife the Pugliese. Both with good crust and toppings. Made by the Pizzaiolo in house so good pizza made correctly. We finished with the Paposceria with Nutella and pistachio. Wonder dessert. We ate well here.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the food consistently top-quality, and the prices are truly fair. The meat and fish are always fresh, the dishes authentic and prepared with attention to every detail: never a disappointment. Michele is fantastic, always available and attentive, and the entire staff contributes to the impeccable service: fast, courteous, and with that touch of familiarity that truly makes the difference. A genuine place, where you eat well and feel good. If you're in the area, stopping here is a must.

18/07/2025: We were there for work, and were welcomed as if we were their grandchildren. The owners, Filippo and Rosaria, are two genuine, hard-working people who do everything they can to make their guests feel welcome and cared for, as do their daughters who help them, who are also tireless. After 15 days, we were sad to leave them; we felt at home. We returned two years later, again for work. The place has been completely renovated, but fortunately the spirit hasn't. I will return as soon as possible, and we will continue to return. Thank you again for everything you have done and continue to do. If you pass through Roseto, you can't miss this place. The cuisine is simple, but very good, and they are always attentive to the customer's needs. A big hug to the whole family. Fabrizio "Loren" 😁

08/09/2025: Terrible experience. We confirmed that there was gluten-free pizza and lactose-free mozzarella. Once seated, we were told that since it was Sunday, the products hadn't been "unloaded." So, whatever, we ordered something else. The waiter, Antonio, was very helpful and apologized several times. To top it all off, a waitress-like figure arrives: arrogant, presumptuous, and so on. I would have gotten up, but the staff were incredibly patient with me. I wasn't at all satisfied with the food. Rubbery octopus and packaged mozzarella. Highly not recommended.

06/09/2025: While on vacation with my girlfriend in Rodi Garganico, we decided to stop at this pizzeria. As a true Campanian, I've always been skeptical of pizzas "outside the region" because, traveling around many parts of Italy, I've never found a pizza that came close to our region. Either very thinly sliced, or toasted. And yet I can say that last night I came home to this place. The pizza was well-leavened and light. I complimented the pizza chef (yes, we're talking about a girl) who I hope this pizzeria holds on to because for me it was like eating a pizza in Campania. Simply spectacular.

Your taste buds, eyes, and nose are overwhelmed by the rich flavors, soft lighting, and artwork decorating the walls, and finally, the intense aromas of pizzas enriched with carefully sourced ingredients from the Gargano region. What more can I say: this place is absolutely worth a visit.

08/11/2025: I had lunch with colleagues who aren't local. The seafood menu is a guarantee. Everything is fresh, excellent quality, and the flavor is of the sea. Vetus is a guarantee, a go-to restaurant in Manfredonia for years, especially for those with modest expectations and a focus on substance. Reasonable prices. The restaurant is just steps from the center. Chef Vincenzo is a great guy and a skilled chef. I highly recommend it!

26/10/2025: Il Carbonaio 2.0 is a delightful discovery! A welcoming place, with attention to detail. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always available, while the cuisine captivates with well-prepared dishes and quality ingredients. An excellent balance between tradition and modernity, both in flavor and presentation. Fast and impeccable service. A must try! Superb pizza!
