13/01/2026: LOCATION: The Lido Giardino di Monsignore Pizzeria and Restaurant is located in Contrada Torre del Porto in Mattinata. A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: This restaurant is well-known among tourists and locals alike. When you arrive, you can enjoy an incredible view of the sea. Especially at sunset, when the sun disappears behind the rocks, the sea is tinged with various colors. On the several occasions I've been, I've enjoyed both the fish-based first and second courses, as well as the pizzas. Each dish reflects the tradition of the Gargano. The restaurant has ample parking, a significant detail in an area that's very busy during the summer months. The photographs I took are testimonies that tell a story, more than a thousand words. FUN FACT: DID YOU KNOW THAT...? The Port Tower was one of the ancient coastal towers built in the 16th century to guard against Ottoman pirate raids. 10/03/2026: I had dinner at Il Carbonaio and was very satisfied. I tried both the pizza and the pancotto, a typical dish from San Severo, and everything was truly delicious. The pizza was light and well-seasoned, while the pancotto was rich in flavor and prepared according to tradition. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service friendly. Recommended! 😊

01/03/2026: I'd consider this restaurant to specialize primarily in traditional dishes, which are very good. The appetizers and side dishes are tasty. Service is prompt and the quality/price ratio is good.

30/11/2025: I love this gem, a small, private, very welcoming and intimate place. The pizza is delicious, never boring, always made with carefully selected, high-quality ingredients. It's not like any other pizzeria, but a great alternative to a casual dinner.

29/09/2025: A lovely, typical Vieste restaurant with an outdoor terrace....The cuisine is simple, but delicious. Compliments to all the staff for their politeness, kindness, and professionalism. We ate wonderfully. I recommend the mixed bruschetta; tomatoes, olive oil, and bread were fantastic. The orecchiette with turnips were mouth-watering. Excellent value for money. Thank you for everything.

22/10/2025: Looking for dinner on a Monday in October is not always easy but we stumbled into Big Boy and enjoyed ourselves. Pizza was good, I enjoyed the Garganica and my wife the Pugliese. Both with good crust and toppings. Made by the Pizzaiolo in house so good pizza made correctly. We finished with the Paposceria with Nutella and pistachio. Wonder dessert. We ate well here.

28/02/2026: The panzerotto is truly exceptional. Dry fried, perfectly cooked, and with superb toppings. The best in town, hands down.

07/02/2026: The food is excellent, but there's room for improvement. The wait is a bit long, ranging from 10 to 30 minutes, given the large number of customers. The panzerotti are an 8, and the pizza is a 6, and needs improvement.
