23/08/2025: The pizza of a lifetime!!!!! When my boyfriend and I crave a good pizza, our first thought is this wonderful place, L'Ammiraglio. Exceptional staff: fast, helpful, extremely kind, quality is not to be taken for granted, in fact... practically perfection. In addition to the pizza and paposcia, which I dare say are amazing, the waiters and the pizza chef always have a smile on their face, even when the place is packed. They always manage to cheer you up despite having so many things to do. As far as I'm concerned, a wonderful place, the best. If you have the chance, stop by, you won't regret it. One of the few places that in August (when you can't understand anything) still treats you with kid gloves. Well done, keep it up!!!! (We love L'Ammiraglio and the Americana, not to mention the Bronte, delicious!!!) ❤️❤️

03/02/2026: Terrible experience. The pizzas arrived burned after an hour and a half, and the taste was nothing special. The owner was truly rude. It was unacceptable to pay a €2 cover charge, receive menus wrapped in ribbons, and not find the table set upon arrival. Children were running around, knocking over chairs and tables, and the manager didn't say anything... Even the attention to cleanliness and hygiene seemed truly lacking. **UPDATE** Comparing a woman to an animal just because of a jacket is truly despicable. Unprofessional attitude. In any case, your response demonstrates the lowliness of the place...

13/01/2026: I went for lunch and ordered a medium rare steak. They brought me a thin slice, cut into pieces, and cooked through. I expected a good portion of medium rare steak. I pointed this out to the owner, who reiterated that the meat was only half-cooked. A terrible experience, never to be repeated.

13/01/2026: LOCATION: The Lido Giardino di Monsignore Pizzeria and Restaurant is located in Contrada Torre del Porto in Mattinata. A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: This restaurant is well-known among tourists and locals alike. When you arrive, you can enjoy an incredible view of the sea. Especially at sunset, when the sun disappears behind the rocks, the sea is tinged with various colors. On the several occasions I've been, I've enjoyed both the fish-based first and second courses, as well as the pizzas. Each dish reflects the tradition of the Gargano. The restaurant has ample parking, a significant detail in an area that's very busy during the summer months. The photographs I took are testimonies that tell a story, more than a thousand words. FUN FACT: DID YOU KNOW THAT...? The Port Tower was one of the ancient coastal towers built in the 16th century to guard against Ottoman pirate raids. 08/11/2025: Authentic pizzeria in the city center. They bake real southern italian pizza in a wood fired oven. Tasty, thin, with lots of toppings. At the end they gave us limoncello (italian lemon liqueur) we will definitely be back! I can only recommend it!

22/10/2025: I came based on the reviews and wasn't disappointed. I was pleased to find the Serie A championship decider on, between Napoli and Cagliari. Great service, atmospheric place, delicious pizza, good wine, and fair prices.

24/11/2025: Solid experience, focused cuisine, consistent service. Five of us dined on a Saturday night. The place was packed but the management was impeccable: perfect wait times, no friction in the service, and well-trained staff. Smooth operations, which, on a weekend, says a lot. Appetizers We started with four beef carpaccios with yellow cherry tomatoes, lamb's lettuce, and parmesan shavings: a simple but well-executed dish, finely cut, fresh ingredients, and a balanced seasoning. We also shared a first course: orecchiette with creamed turnip greens, sausage, and sun-dried tomatoes. Highly recommended. Main Courses Arrosticini: really well-made, precisely cooked, and tender meat. Grilled vegetables: standard but well-done, not burnt, not watery. As for the meat, we played it cool: I chose a sliced ​​entrecote, medium rare. The quality of the meat was evident. Another diner had a Genovese of black pork with crusty bread (pictured: very tender, full-bodied, thick sauce). The other three ordered the Maminha, served on a hot griddle, a stunning dish, and juicy meat. Excellent. In summary: the quality of the meat is high, the wait times are perfect, the presentation is meticulous and unfussy, the prices are super fair, and the atmosphere is rustic, authentic, and in keeping with the restaurant's positioning. I'll conclude by saying that Il Carbonaio is a restaurant that doesn't improvise. It knows how to handle crowded places, maintains high-quality ingredients, and brings to the table meat that speaks for itself. I'll be back and recommend it without hesitation.

31/07/2025: Se siete alla ricerca di una pizza che vi faccia sentire come a casa, La Buria è il posto giusto. La base della pizza è qualcosa di incredibile: sottile, quasi come quella che faceva mia nonna nel forno a legna. Non più di 1 cm di spessore, croccante al punto giusto, ma con quella morbidezza che solo una preparazione fatta con passione può dare. I profumi che si sprigionano appena arriva al tavolo ti riportano indietro nel tempo, a un'epoca in cui il cibo aveva un sapore autentico, semplice, ma incredibilmente buono. Anche gli ingredienti per il condimento sono scelti con cura, freschi e genuini, esaltano il gusto della pizza senza mai sopraffarlo. Ogni morso è una vera delizia, che sa di tradizione e di amore per la cucina. Se passate per Peschici, non lasciatevi scappare La Buria: è un’esperienza che va oltre il semplice mangiare, è un viaggio nei sapori e nei ricordi di una cucina che non ha paura di restare fedele alla propria storia.

27/07/2025: Siamo andati a cena in questo ristorante che ci è stato consigliato vivamente e devo dire che siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. A partire dal servizio veloce e molto professionale, fino ad arrivare ai piatti a dir poco deliziosi. Abbiamo preso come antipasto da dividere in 2 le cozze ripiene ed erano buonissime, a seguire due spaghetti con le vongole, forse i più buoni mai mangiati, accompagnati con una bottiglia di vino bianco (si può scegliere tra bottiglia grande e piccola, ottima cosa per chi non beve troppo vino come noi) e per finire due sorbetti al limone e due amari che ci sono stati gentilmente offerti dalla casa. Che dire, la cena migliore della vacanza! I prezzi sono leggermente più alti di altri posti ma è giustificato dalla qualità alta dei piatti (abbiamo dato un occhio alle pizze e avevano dei prezzi nella media). Sicuramente ci torneremo!
