03/06/2026: A wonderful discovery near Turin! We went for dinner and had such a great time that we returned the next day. Carlotta was incredibly kind and recommended several local specialties—try their pasta with bagna cauda and the beautifully presented vitello tonnato. The beers are also very good and reasonably priced. A great experience in a distinctly traditional, family-run establishment. Highly recommended!

03/06/2026: I'm sorry to write these words. I was a customer, but starting Saturday, I won't be anymore. We arrived Saturday evening at 7:40 PM and ordered four pizzas (three Margheritas and one baby pizza). The service was a complete disaster: two pizzas (including a baby pizza for a little girl) arrived immediately, while the other two were served much later, completely burned and inedible. After sending them back with the waitresses, we waited from 8:05 PM until 8:40 PM without anything arriving. We watched all the other diners who arrived after us and were served before us. In the end, we left out of desperation without eating. They didn't charge us the bill as an apology. Their excuse was that they had a problem with the oven. I've worked in a pizzeria myself, so I wouldn't have brought bricks to the table, but I think this mistake is partly the fault of the pizza chef. The most absurd thing was the excuse: "It was a problem with the oven," but in the meantime, you've served the rest of the dining room. So, a piece of advice: if the customer complains about the pizza and you've made an obvious mistake, the pizza that should come out first should be the one belonging to the customer who rightfully complained. This is, of course, in my house.

07/03/2026: I've been to Du Village and I must say it was a wonderful discovery. From the outside, the restaurant seems small and discreet, but as soon as you enter, you realize it's much larger than it appears: a spacious room that can seat up to 130 people, perfect for groups and events. We had a very good pizza, but browsing the menu, we realized the selection is truly extensive: you can find practically everything here, from A to Z, from traditional cuisine to fresh fish, with specialties like oysters and seafood. The owner has extensive experience in the restaurant business: over 55 years of experience and 38 years of self-employment, and this shows in the organization, the cuisine, and the attention to customers. The restaurant is also ideal for events and celebrations, such as weddings, first communions, baptisms, and parties, thanks to its large spaces and varied menu. We ate very well and were welcomed with kindness. I will definitely be back to try other dishes on the menu. 🍕🐟

17/05/2026: Paying €20 for a pizza seems excessive to me! (€14 for the base + €3 for the cartwheel + €3 for whole wheat dough) Everything was good: the pizza, the ingredients, the service, the desserts (€7). The only downside was perhaps the tables were too close together. Nice atmosphere, convenient parking, we'll definitely be back, but we'll be careful what we order! The menu isn't very clear, like desserts are listed at €6 and then you pay €7! Recommended, but some prices should be clarified on the menu!

13/05/2026: The pizza was average, neither bad nor particularly memorable... let's just say "nothing bad, nothing special." Although I expected more. I had a diavola: very small, not enough mozzarella, bland tomato sauce, and a lackluster, flavorless spianata—a shame. The dough was very good, though. The main problem was the heat: it was scorchingly hot inside, to the point that we were all soaking wet (as were the waiters), and the dinner wasn't very enjoyable. What bothered me the most, however, and this is why the rating is so low, was the insistent attitude regarding desserts and coffee. We were a large table, and after dinner we had a birthday party to attend, complete with cake, so we simply didn't want to order anything else. Yet four different waiters came to ask us, and two of them simultaneously continued with phrases like: "What, not even a dessert?", "Really? Just a small one, right?", "You don't even want a coffee?", "Are you sure?", "Not even a dessert, a coffee... See if that seems normal to you," addressing their colleague. Repeated several times, truly embarrassing us. I understand offering the restaurant's products, but when a customer politely says no, it should end there. I think everyone is free to order what they want without feeling embarrassed and almost forced to justify themselves.
