26/04/2026: I'm correcting my previous review, which wasn't negative, but I was there last night and noticed some improvements, especially regarding the staff. I had a great time; I didn't order pizza, but I did have an excellent meat dish. I also enjoyed the karaoke more than I've had in the past; we had a lot of fun.

08/08/2026: This is a lovely restaurant and pizza place and in my opinion the best in the area. We came to Viú for some holidays and went often at Ca Bassa. The owners at first seem a bit grumpy but if you talk to them they are just the kindest people. PS you might need to book in advance because it's often fully booked. Highly recommend.

09/07/2026: Coming down from Polpresa, we came across this pizzeria that we hadn't actually tried yet. Let's just say that evening was a bit special, celebrating an anniversary of something or someone. The dining room was packed and the staff was crazy, and there was no pizza, only very basic fare. Anyway, to cut a long story short, that same evening we chatted with some customers who had come from Turin specifically for the pizza, and they confirmed that eating at the new Ca' Bassa was worth it. So we booked for a few days later, and indeed we tried the delicious pizza, and the staff also proved to be helpful and friendly. Recommended!

28/06/2026: One Friday, I asked if it was possible to have dinner al fresco, they told me yes, I went... when they arrived they had just turned on the air conditioning, out of respect I didn't leave, I ate and I think it wasn't their best dish, with my wife 2 pizzas, raw you almost needed a spoon to pick them up, I saw fish dishes and they were beautiful, will I come back? Of course I have to try those beautiful fish dishes, the pizza No and certainly when there is no longer any need for the air conditioning.

22/06/2026: Nice pizzeria with a large terrace; parking spaces are limited, but we were able to park in front. The pizza was fantastic, the mixed salad was rather meager. But we'd gladly come again.

13/08/2026: I ordered four different takeout pizzas. No one liked them. They gave us one pizza for free because they made us wait longer than necessary, and we threw that one away because it looked like it was from the day before. Not recommended. The place is nice, though.

07/08/2026: What can I say... I've been going there ever since I arrived in Turin. It's the neighborhood's go-to, a place to find good food at great prices. The pizza is delicious, the service is top-notch, and it shows: on Saturdays, the place is packed. The seafood is also excellent (we ordered the seafood spaghetti). Whether you order takeout or dine-in, it remains one of the most special places to eat for me. ❤️

16/03/2026: Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it. I ordered a set menu: first course, second course, and side dish. The first course was a slightly overcooked pasta, and the second course was a slice of reheated, tough porchetta with a side of diced fennel salad, poorly presented. I won't be back!

24/02/2026: A very welcoming place, thanks to its good quality food and service, which is very attentive to customers and their requests. For foreign tourists, eating at Il Cavaliere restaurant was a pleasant surprise, as were the reasonable bill and the complimentary after-dinner drinks.

16/01/2026: The owner is incredibly kind and cheerful, and the atmosphere is simple and clean. She prepares a dish or two every day, and you can taste all the attention and love she puts into it! We've been back three times in 10 days; her Maffè is probably some of the best food I've ever tasted. 💕

22/07/2026: There were four of us at the table. We ordered draft beers, but the machine was broken, so we had bottled beer. The focaccia was extremely disappointing. We ordered three pizzas, only finished one, and they were very average. It took three people to make one pizza, one of whom was on the phone at the same time… This evening in Turin will not be one I will remember fondly.

25/06/2026: We ate fish, all the dishes were very good, even on a very hot day, with perfect air conditioning. The place is well-decorated and very welcoming. There's also a lovely outdoor area. Very important to me, our canine friends are welcome 😉. Thanks to the waiter Beppe, very professional like everyone else. I recommend it.

15/07/2026: How wonderful to be able to confirm such a positive review after some time. The restaurant has also undergone a complete interior renovation and has improved its seafood selection. We tried the mussels (abundant and with a variety of options) and a wonderful fried fish platter. Kudos to the owner and his staff. Definitely a standout compared to the franchise chains and overrated restaurants on Corso Moncalieri!

12/07/2026: I went to celebrate my wedding anniversary at Prima e Poi! The place is not huge but there is enough room to eat comfortably at both small tables and large tables! The place is clean, tidy and well organized! The modern decor and everything is very colorful! The place offers a wide range of pizzas, even low-sided ones (I love the high-sided ones... very high)! Then there is the farinata which I love in the traditional version and in the version stuffed with different ingredients such as gorgonzola and caramelized onions!! There is also a wide choice of fish and land first courses! The fish is very fresh and at the entrance we find a large counter with fresh fish displayed like a fishmonger's (as in the photo). We ordered the traditional farinata which was good but not very abundant! Then we had the spaghetti with clams which were EXCELLENT especially because we didn't find even a grain of sand, perfectly cooked al dente and a truly special stew so much so that we could mop up the sauce with bread at the end of the dish - I would say that mopping up the sauce is always the best compliment! Then we had the mussels marinara, good but with a light flavor and not enough stew that more than stew it seemed like water with the flavor of mussels, a little disappointed but still good, you can't say they weren't good, next time instead I will have the peppered mussels which had a very attractive color!!! Along with the mussels we received a tiny portion of chips which were spectacular, very good, too bad there were really few as in the photo but still they were few because they were part of the dish, I recommend everyone to have a whole portion because they are fantastic! We didn't have dessert because we were full! By the way, they make the bread themselves and it was delicious, congratulations! The service was absolutely up to the standard of the place, fast, serious, precise, despite the place being full, there were no delays or errors, a sign of good organization and good knowledge of the profession... well done to all the staff in the dining room and kitchen!!!! For those who want to dine outdoors, there is a great terrace waiting for you! I recommend for Paella lovers an unmissable event as shown in the photo!!! I also saw many plates of mixed fried fish and calamari and tufts that looked spectacular and which I will be back to eat soon!!! Prima e Poi is definitely among the top seafood restaurants. Everything is truly excellent and highly recommended! The only real downside is finding parking near the restaurant on Strada Torino in Moncalieri!!! So, happy seafood to everyone!!!!
